I was so excited to see these at first, the behind the neck concept is not really successful and i guess the headphone makers have realized that long time ago, that's why you don't find that much of these type of headphones.anyways, the S305 was really uncomfortable, I dont blv i have a huge head or ears for that matter, normal guy. but these headsets make my ears hurt like hell, besides the fact that the behind the neck strap is a hard plastic open tube means its so rigid, it will not handle your moves, it will just transfer the moves and dislocate the pads on the ears, problem is that the strap kind of hold the top of your ears as well and moving it will scratch and push your ears in a way that after a few minutes your ears start to hurt.I could not use these while biking, jumping ropes and during my workouts.the deal breaker though is the connectivity, i know Motorola is good and all and these headsets keep the bluetooth communication at all costs, that means if you temporarily cover your phone or go to another room and come back, the short lack of buffering will turn into a slow-pitched sound followed by a higher-faster-pitch to catch up once the connection is properly restored, and you don't need to be an audiophile to hear all this annoying shift in your song.the microphone picked up too much of the environment noise during the conversation, but honestly i also blame my cellphone (HTC Desire S ) there.Sent them back got myself a creative wp300 (no microphone) and couldn't be happier, you can read my review on that one there too.

My hat size is 7 1/4 or in more contemporary terms - extra-large. I would be better off with phones that go over my head. These sit precariously, clamped to my ears with the band resting on my neck. Fine for sitting around the house, but way too loose for running, biking or any vigorous exercise. As for the sound? Terrific! Beautiful base that's almost as good as my Philips surround sound in-ear buds. Good mids and highs as well. Very satisfying for music or movies.Easy pairing with my phones (Google Nexus 4 and Samsung flip (dumb) phone).I just wish the band went over my head, rather than having the band rest on my neck.

I was hesitant about purchasing these headphones, but I'm glad I did. I have not experienced the poor reception or lack of sweat resistance that seem to be common complaints among bluetooth headphones.Pros:-Reception and sound quality. Music sounds perfect at 30 or 35 feet from the source, as advertised. I can leave my Blackberry in a corner of the gym and work out anywhere on the floor without a hiccup in clarity.-Call quality. Very nice to hear the other person in both ears, and the audio is crisp - reminds me of Skype. People have told me I sound loud and clear to them.-Sweat resistance. I purchased these 2 use while working out, and I sweat a lot. I haven't had a problem after 2 months, and the soft ear pads have been drenched. I'm probably asking for trouble here and I plan on doing a better job wiping them down during workouts, but so far, no issues.-Battery life and ease of charging is as advertised.Cons:-The fit is a little uncomfortable at times. The behind-the-neck band was a little crooked out of the box, but it didn't seem to affect the fit at first. The structure seems to bend a little out of whack every time I use the phones, and I always try to bend them back to being straight when I'm done... but I can never get it quite right. Also, if you pack these in a suitcase or gym back, the band will bend and get distorted, and you'll have to bend everything back into shape before using the phones again. Annoying.-As someone mentioned, the on-ear controls are hard to get used to by feel. I've gotten comfortable with the power on/off button and the volume control without taking them off, but haven't even attempted to learn the play/pause or skip buttons yet. Just do that from your phone.

These sound awful actually. There is no bass to the headphones, it's all mids and treble and the surround sound is overwhelming, it sounds like I'm surrounded by AM radios. Even changing the sound settings on my phone and the downloaded EQ App doesn't help. Also I don't like it that every time you adjust the volume or track forward/backward they produce an audible tone, I don't need these things to let me know that I just pushed a button. I am sending these back and getting another pair of the Rocketfish headphones, they are head and shoulders above these. My other pair went down after 1.5 years of heavy use and I wanted to try something different. I regret that decision.Edit: These do work well for talking on the phone. Someone at work told me that my voice is louder and clearer than my old headphones. However, for me, this doesn't make up for the low quality of sound from my audio files.

I received a pair of these as a Christmas gift. So far I have tested them out with my iPhone 5, but plan to pair with an Asus Transformer Prime tablet as well.Pros:0. Goodbye wires.1. Decent sound -- I should say really great sound for wireless.2. Lightweight3. Decent battery lifeCons:1. On my pair, I can tell a slight hum when it is in operation and receiving a stream. That said, I tend to notice little things like that more than most; and it reminds of a similar hum or hiss on a Motorola Bluetooth headset I have.Other thoughts:Putting them on takes a little bit of a mind shift, and the piece of plastic "floating" behind my head feels a bit odd. But I think those are both easy enough to get over.

I bought these a couple of months ago to use with my Android smart phone to listen to music while I'm working. They work great, sound respectable and the battery charge lasts about 2.5 days (probably about 5 hours per day). Initial syncing was effortless, the range is pretty darn good and I don't have to worry about tangling myself up in wires while hopping about in my office designing software, drawing design diagrams, switching computers, grabbing books from the shelf, etc. When a call comes in, the music politely pauses and I just tap the button on the side to answer. I can talk a while and hang up with the same button, and the music resumes right where it left off.I highly recommend the Motorola S305's as a reasonably priced, long lasting, good sounding, very functional headset.

I took a good amount of time going over the options for wireless headphones when I stumbled upon these. After reading other positive reviews, I decided to pick up a pair since they were so much cheaper compared to other options for wireless headphones. Being an owner of an iPhone 3GS with iOS 4, I expected almost perfect functionality from the device. In no way was I disappointed. After moving to these wireless headphones, I don't think I will ever be going back to wires unless it is for studio quality sound and editing. For listening, these headphones are pure joy.A couple things to note:-The one size fits all band fits well on my head, sticking out a little bit in the back, but the "floating" position of the band is extremely comfortable, and often I feel like I am not wearing headphones. The only place I start to feel it is on my ears, where it can get a little sore after hours of consecutive wear. With the band, the only minor irritation is that if I am wearing a coat with a larger collar, sometimes the band bumps against it. Still, this has nothing to do with the quality and build of the device, but for runners it might be an issue if they are wearing jackets for running in the cold. It really is no problem for in most cases though.-The sound quality on these headphones is far, far better than I expected. I was only looking to replace the regular iPhone headphones, and I have to say, the quality on these is much better than any standard headphones that come with media devices. Because they aren't ear buds, I can notice the bass more prominently, which is a big plus to me. Now, these aren't studio quality, but for the price you pay and the bonus of having no wires, these sound really, really good.-Functionality of all the buttons on the headphones has worked with near perfection almost every time I use the device. Only in a few instances has it worked incorrectly, but admittedly, these errors are most likely due to me bumping buttons I didn't now I hit. One thing to note is to make sure to wait until after the second beep when connecting to the iPhone to press the buttons, as that is when the device is fully connected.-One aspect I didn't buy these headphones for that has turned out to be a pleasant surprise is the calling capabilities. The call quality is better than many other Bluetooth headsets I have tried, and when I have been on the phone, people haven't even noticed that I was on a headset. The only potential downfall (if you consider it one at all...), is how much you don't look like you are on the phone while wearing these. Still, the convenience of having everything in one device is arguably better than being looked at funny because people think you are talking to yourself :).-Storage of the headphones has been easy for me, easily fitting in bags, and hanging around my neck when necessary to only take them off for a short amount of time.Overall, these are an incredibly valuable purchase for what you get. The build feels a little flimsy since it is mostly plastic, but for how well it works, the price, and what you get, I could care less about the flimsy build. I have had mine for weeks and not once have I damaged or come close to damaging the headphones. You won't be disappointed by these, pending your media player supports all the awesome functions the headphones provides.

I wanted to like this, I really did. But from minute one they seemed to be plagued with issues. It paired fine with my device but on my first run with them it skipped to the point I finally turned them off. Restarted the phone and it worked a little better...until the headphones decided to turn themselves off without me hitting any buttons. I've seen reviews that mention electronics not doing well with excessive sweat but this was only use #2, not after several weeks of hard use...c'mon now! Unpaired them from my phone and restarted, then re-paired. Same result. Really? I have a pair of beat up Rocketfish BT headphones that has been my sturdy running companion for the past year plus and I think I'll stick with those!+Look niceSound good (when they actually work)Fit well (I have a pretty big head)Comfortable-Pairing issuesConnection issuesRandom power off's (and probably on's) when not wantedUnfortunately the negatives have me returning the headset to Amazon (thank you for a good return policy!). Will likely get another pair of what I have currently (should have done that in the first place...*sigh*).

I'm very disappointed to be returning these headphones. They're lightweight, easy to use, with decent battery life, and above average sound quality. While they were working, I wore them 6 or 7 times to go jogging. The Bluetooth signal is really strong. I noticed virtually no drop outs when jogging (keeping my iPhone on my right side) and could walk about 20 feet away from my iPhone indoors without a drop out. I also used them to make several calls and the reception was very good. The fit is a little uncomfortable at first but I got used to them quickly.Unfortunately, after 2 weeks of use they just stopped working - would not power up, and would not take a charge. I have a tendency to believe they shorted out from the sweat. If you scan the reviews of this product (by Newest First) you will find that many people are having the same problem.Since I really need a pair of headphones for jogging I won't be replacing them but instead spending the extra $60 on the Jaybird Freedom earbuds.Assuming the failure is moisture/sweat related and you don't plan to wear these while exercising, they are a great value. Otherwise, you have been warned.

Good sound. Bluetooth makes it all worthwhile. Doesn't fall off my head while running, but I only run 5k at most. It's a little heavy for a marathon. One caveat. If Iphone is held or in lower left pocket, the blue tooth signal drops on occasion. Very strange. No problem, just put Iphone in right pocket and it works fine. Would buy again. Battery time is awesome. I use it 30 mins to an hour most days. I'm not sure how often I've had to, but I don't recharge it every weekend. In other words, depending upon use, you could recharge this every other week.

I read a review by someone who gave an answer to just about every question I had. The price of this product does not match the quality meaning, the quality is far more than the price.I have an iPad 2 and have not been able to link them to it, this makes me sad, however that is not the main purpose for buying these.I run, on the treadmill, and outside, these things have been sweat(ed) on several times, and all I do is press my towel onto them when I am done and that seems to work. They have never shorted out, their charge lasts a long time, I would say at LEAST two hours. I have not used them constantly for more than an hour and 20 minutes. When I am running they are very comfortable, if you are used to using ear buds these may not be for you, but it has been so nice not having to deal with a cord. They do link up nicely with my iPhone 4 which I use for my music and podcasts when I run. They have option to move forward, backward and pause with your music, works with Pandora for skipping songs as well! You an also use them as a headset when talking on your phone, they must have a microphone in them as I just had a long conversation with my girlfriend and my mom using them and putting the phone in my pants pocket. They have a great range too as I have left my phone in my gym bag on the treadmill and walked across the gym to get the stuff to wipe down the treadmill and never lose signal. I give them 5 stars as I find no fault in these headphones.

What I love about this headset:1. Amazingly good sound for the money. I own high end Bose and Sennheiser headphones and am used to their sound. These Motorola's sound quite surprisingly good, considering the difference in price.2. They are lightweight and hardly put any pressure on my ears.3. They pair quickly and easily with my iPhone. What I don't like:1. The plastic inner packaging seems to have been designed to survive a Tsunami. In fact, I have no doubt that it would have successfully protected this headset during last years Japanese Tsunami. I'd wager that there is at least a 10% chance of either the purchaser or the headset being injured/damaged in the process of opening the plastic sarcophagus that protects this product.2. The controls are difficult to see and feel, so they take some getting used to.3. The sound does slightly distort on the louder, fuller portions of some music.4. Just a pet peeve. The LED indicator turns from red to green for various functions. One out of twenty American men have some degree of color blindness - usually red-green. That renders these indicators useless to 5% of the male population. It's not just Motorola that does this, it's pretty much every manufacturer. However, adding this problem to the difficult to see and feel control buttons made my first experience using these about as precarious as a blind date. Still...I think I'm going to grow to love them, if only for their stylish shape and the sound of their voice!

I like to listen to music in my iPhone while working out in the gym. For a while, I was using the earbuds that came with the iPhone, but they keep falling off while I walk on treadmill. After reading reviews, I decided to buy Motorola S305 bluetooth stereo headset with microphone, because they are priced just right. I am not an audiophile and I did not want to pay $$$ for a high quality headset. These headphones are small, very light, and they fit over the ears and the connecting bar curves around the ear and goes around the back of neck, so they do not fall off while I exercise. Sound quality is quite acceptable and the price is great. I also used it to answer phone calls while driving. Sound comes out loud and clear - not tinny. The parties that I spoke to told me that my voice was very clear when I spoke to them using this headset. They paired with my iPhone without any problem.

Positives: They're great for the first few months, the battery lasts for a week of regular use and I love how the buttons are laid out and easy to use. I love how their wireless and I don't have to worry about headphone cords getting caught on stuff or being too short. I also like that it can use the same connector as my cell phone for charging.Negatives: After a a few months the battery starts to lose its edge and it needs to be charged a day or two earlier than it used to. They also take longer to connect to my MacBook Pro and occasionally my iPod Touch. And sometimes the audio cuts out when I have the volume up a bit louder than usual. They've also lost a significant amount of volume lately. I have had them for 4.5 months and they're starting to have problems. And it won't usually connect to my iPod Touch and my cell phone no matter what I do, and when it will connect to both of them at the same time, there are tons of problems.Bottom Line: Their nice and I'm glad I got them, but they're not precisely as good as I would have liked, particularly due to quality degradation over time.

The headset itself is pretty good looking. It is a bit flimsy but felt quite comfortable behind my neck. Connection with my android phone was flawless, no issues at all. However the primary reason I bought this headset was to use it with my laptop (Lenovo Thinkpad T400) at office. I don't like too many wires on my desk and so went for a bluetooth headset. However this one does not work out-of-the box with Windows 7 64 bit. It connected just fine, but Windows failed to find the device drivers and declared the device as unusable. Microsoft website claims that there are no drivers available for the headset from Motorola. Some serious googling later, I found out that MS bluetooth stack for Windows 7 does not support stereo headset profile at all. I found some help on a website ([...]). I had to download the Broadcom bluetooth stack, which I found on gateway website. After installing this stack and restarting, the headset connected just fine and audio headset showed up in connected devices. Then it was just the matter of changing default playback device from the audio mixer settings and I was good to go.The audio quality is decent and now it is working very well. I am giving this product a 3 star since I did not find any info about these issues anywhere and the product showed up in my search for "bluetooth headset for computer". Someone somewhere should fix this.

This was my third S305, that I just purchased in late Feb, The first were damaged accidently by me, but had worked great for nearly a year. In fact I thought so highly of the first set that about 16 months ago I bought another S305 to use at work. That set's battery lost charge ability to the point that it would only last about 6 hours, but would almost last the whole day. The caution is that over time, products get cheaper and cheaper components if they seem to keep working properly, and I think that this one s one off them. Comparing 3 units, the button presses on the latest S305 are inconsistant, and they are floppy and loose (read as "they rattle"). Sometimes there is a light crackle present, but that is inconsistant. This last week, the battery has taken less of a charge daily (losing about 1/2 hour a day), and I am certain that soon, it will no longer take a charge, rendering it useless. Not good for a 2 month old unit. 3 times is not a charm (although the first was damaged, batt life was down to 5 hours). Time to ditch Motorola products. Great phones., but not worth spending $40 every 2 months for a new set. Talk about accelerated planned obsolesence! Pardon spelling errors - typed on my phone.

I decided to buy this headset, because it has over 1000 reviews, mostly positive. However, these are my points of assessment:Comfort: I don't know what most people consider to be "comfortable", but this set does not fit for me. It feels awkward, with its ark at the rear of my head, and it does not hug my ears snugly enough. When I lean back against my high sofa seat or pillows, the beam behind my head gets in the way and pushes the set off my ears, since it is not precisely snug around the rear of my head.I also wear reading glasses, and the bow of the set gets into a room crisis/conflict with the branches of my glasses right behind and above my ears. There is room for one of those, but not for the both.I wanted to use it for two things: as my speaker system for the laptop and at the same time, to use as the blue-tooth for my iPhone-4. The sound quality for music and sound files played from my laptop is poor, compared to the Plantronics DSP 400 I have been using until now. For my iPhone, I tried to pair it 3 times. I turned it off, then on again, to be discovered. It signaled that it was paired for phone calls, but upon testing it by calling my husband's iPhone-4, I never got to hear anything in the headset. I had to turn to the phone's speaker system instead. Maybe it needs that separate adapter that they also mention (although they claim it works with the iPhone "guaranteed".For all these poor performance reasons, it goes back into the box and returned for a refund.

I was wanting something wireless for using when I run on the treadmill. The headphones I had been using had cords, and I was always catching the cord at some point during my workout. The cords also made it more difficult to listen to my music while using the elliptical machines. In came the Motorola S305 Headset!! These are perfect! They charge quickly, were simple to pair with my iPhone 4S, and best of all-no cords! It did take me a couple tries to learn where the buttons are for volume and to skip songs (I ended up turning them off at one point), but they are easy to use. They sit on my ears, which I also love-I hate earbuds that go in the ears. The band part goes over the ears and behind the head. They do not wiggle around when I am running. This makes it much easier to place my phone somewhere safe and not have to worry about cords getting tangled or caught. I only use these for listening to music. I have not used them for phone calls, so I cannot rate how well the microphone works.I would definitely recommend these to anyone who wants a wireless way to listen to music!

They are great for iPhone and iPad. Play Controls and Sound Quality are excellent. The battery life is very good as well. Now, let me focus my review on the use of this device in a PC.You have to consider 2 main things: The range of applications you will be using and the bluetooth dongle you currently have (or will buy). From my experience, I mainly use it on my office, my desktop is a Win7 enterprise edition 64bit. I chose this headset for the price and sound quality (and the fact that another friend had already tried it on his PC).For playing music I use Pandora and iTunes. Headset Controls will work only in iTunes as long as the iTunes window is the one that is selected. Headset Controls won't work on Pandora One. The sound quality is not the same as working on an iPhone/iPad (which it is more crisp and strong), and this depends on the sound card/chip you have on your PC.For communications I use Skype and Microsoft Office Communicator 2007 R2. This is were it gets interesting, because it is where the bluetooth dongle you selected comes into play. At the beginning i was using a Kensington Bluetooth 2.1 USB Micro Adapter... and it wasn't good. You cannot play music and make a call at the same time (which you can do using simple jack headphones and a microphone). Then I switched to a rocketfish Bluetooth 2.1 micro adapter (RF-MRBTAD) and now it was possible to play music and make a call at the same time ... but ... the sound quality changes from the 48k hz (dvd quality) to a very low (AM radio quality sound alike). I have not tried the IOMEGA dongle must of the reviewers are using but I won't purchase another bluetooth adapter for now. I guess it depends also on the quality of the adapter's drivers.Overall, I do recommend this for using in a PC but be sure you have the right bluetooth adapter and that it works with your PC configuration and with your communication programs.

First off let me say that I was very excited to get these headphones, especially for the price. I workout at 24 Hour Fitness gyms in the Denver/Aurora, CO area. I was tired of constantly pulling out my phone or ipod and changing songs or volume. A friend recommended these so I purchased them. After charging they synced with no issues and it only took a few seconds. I wore them around the house and I was thrilled! Wow all for only $40. I even went for a 4 mile jog and they were fantastic. No interference issues at all. Later that day I went to the gym and within a few minutes of working out I started experiencing the music cutting out. These became so annoying due to the consistency that I had to get my wired earbuds. I asked my friend and he suggested making sure the phone was right side up in my pocket and I wasn't wearing jeans. I was actually wearing my phone using one of those armband holders so it was literally 12 inches from the headphones. I then went and tested the headphones on 2 more bluetooth devices in the gym and had the same issue. I was using the droid X, ipod, and a brand new Samsung Galaxy. I then drove home, jogged again, and no issues.

First off, the sound quality of the S305 is pretty good, although there is a bit of background static/noise when nothing is playing (may be a general BT issue, this is my first pair).Unfortunately there are a couple of issues that make it hard to recommend, and so I am going to look for something better:* The over-the-ear plastic part is a bit tight and there doesn't seem to be any way to get it where it's not pinching the back of my ear. I used to own a pair of Sony over-the-ear headphones that had an excellent ear clip that rotated a bit and was could be worn for hours.* The neckband can be annoying if it's not directly behind your head and "floating". When you look up, it rubs against your neck.* It is not possible to rest your head back on a couch or pillow while wearing these.* The control buttons feel ultra-cheap and it's hard to tell by touch alone which button to press. I find myself having to take the headphones off to pair with a different device, the 2-button combo for pairing is just too awkward to press without looking at what you're doing. All the buttons are on the right ear and it would have been nicer to have them split between left and right, with larger buttons and some sort of tactile difference so you can feel your way around.* They look pretty ugly. I only intend to use these around the house so that's not a total deal-breaker for me, but probably would be for some.* The ear foam is not replaceable and I imagine would wear out pretty quickly.

I was excited when I first saw these headphones. More and more I've been using my iPhone to listen to music, but the Apple headphones were less than great and I'm terrible about wired stuff. A few times a day during my work I rip the headphones out of my ear or send the phone onto the floor while reaching for something on my desk. When I got these phones they paired immediately with my phone, no messing around! The sound was ok, but not terribly loud, and thats saying something because I don't blast my music. But I could learn to live with this. The one thing thats a deal breaker for me is the fact that these are "behind-the-head" earphones.I think I was a little blinded by the price that I didn't really take notice of that fact.If you're planning on lying back in bed or an easy chair for a nap with your new headphones, forget it. Incredibly uncomfortable trying to put your head on a pillow. This was very disappointing for me, but absolutely my fault. They would have gotten a 5 star if it weren't for this one thing.All-in-all I'd recommend them but remind about that one caveat.

Wow! Where do I begin to tell you about the Motorola S305 Bluetooth Stereo Headset?! I read most of the reviews that were/are posted and I was a bit hesitant to buy the S305, but I'm glad I did. Firstly, they aren't the most attractive looking bluetooth headsets, but they are very Comfortable when you wear them. Its easy to use for both Music and Calls. The sound quality (for me!) is great, sounds are very clear and it produces good enough bass quality as well. I use them for almost everything, like for exercises such as Running, Lifting Weights, Jump roping etc... I also use them for my commute on public transportation, like the subway. Its such a relief to be free from WIRES! I have been using the S-305 headset for the last 3 months and I'm not sure if they are sweat-proof or not but during exercise I sweat a lot and it still works GREAT! Regardless of being dropped several times, the S-305 still intact and work as if new. It charges quick and lasts for an average of 6 hours of use. The side buttons are easy to use and very convenient. Pairing to devices is easy and quick. Now the only thing is that they can become loose after a while, but you can tighten it.So far I haven't had any problems with the S-305, but I'll update my review if I encounter anything. For the price I think the S-305 is a must buy.

I purchased this product with the intention of pairing to my phone for running and working out. Wired headphones and earbuds have a tendency to not allow for free motion and sometimes get snagged on weights, benches, etc. I had several primary concerns for these headphones, and couldn't find the information I needed anywhere else, so I hope this review serves to answer some questions for you. Please note that this details my experience after 30 days of use.Quality of Construction: These headphones feel decidedly cheap. I have a pair of wrap-around (wired) headphones that cost $10 that seems to have sturdier construction. Upon taking these out of the package, I felt like taking them off too roughly, or something falling on them, could damage or break the frame. After 30 days of use, they still feel cheap, but I am not so afraid that I will break them. While it is a very real possibility that a less careful person (read: spouse) or accident will break these, extending some consideration to fragile electronics makes me think that the frames breaking is not how these will end their life.Quality of Sound: When running or working out, I am content if the headphones are 1) loud enough 2) not flat and 3) easily adjustable for conditions. These do well on all counts. I have noticed that some songs are too loud, some not loud enough -- but this is because of the source, not the headphones. There is good range of sound, sufficient bass and treble to please my ears while I exercise. Further, the positioning of the volume controls allows me to make adjustments without breaking stride -- the placement of the Play/Pause and the Forward and Back controls allows me to skip songs without skipping a step. (Please note: if your device does not support use of the Play/Pause, Forward and Back buttons, it is not the fault of these Headphones. I suggest you consult your phone or device's documentation if you are not sure whether it supports AVRCP)Sweat Resistance: This is the big one, and the one that most reviews don't touch on. As I was searching for something I could wear while exercising, whether it would stand up to some sweat is extremely important. These have done well so far. I have noticed some sweat on the lower half of each ear-piece during workout but have not experienced any problems from this yet. I have worn them on intense interval workouts and long runs (10 mile) and they still function as well as new. I would caution that these do tend to keep the ears quite warm, and do seem to contribute to sweating -- I would not wear these in the summer, or in warm climates. Your experience may differ, as I live in a state with high humidity. (Special Note: After feeling sweat all over my head and worrying about these breaking, I spent a few dollars for an Under Armour beanie that keeps the sweat from rolling down my head. Definitely a good purchase, as it helps regulate my body temperature and significantly cuts down on the moisture that accumulates on the headphones)Minor issues: The headphones sometimes skip or gap, depending on the location of the broadcasting device. This rarely happens and is not too irritating when it does. Call quality has been praised and I have never had anybody guess I was using speakerphone, headphones, in a well, etc. Battery life seems good, I can use them for approximately 5 or 6 hours without needing to recharge them. Recharging takes a touch less than 2 hours with the Micro-USB adapter.Overall: I am quite satisfied with my purchase. These are not exactly what I thought I would need, but are definitely functioning as I hoped they would. For the price paid, I do not expect them to last forever, but anticipate that when they do stop working, I will quickly order a replacement pair of the same model. In my estimation, of you are searching for a pair of headphones that you can use while exercising, if you are worried about sweating, and if you are not extremely demanding of your electronics, I would strongly suggest these headphones. I rate them 4/5 because of concerns about the durability of the frame - even a slight concern is enough to withhold a perfect score - but would give them a 4.5 if possible.

I bought this headphones in January 2012. It worked well for couple if month but then started bad times when my return window is closed. Automatically disconnected from the phone without a reason. Worked well with Skype sometimes. I need to connect the headphone then start the skype app in my iPhone and log-in. (you need to follow this order). Then it'll work for the first call I make. If I want to hang up and make another Skype call, then I have to disconnect the headset, log off from Skype and follow the above steps again. Finally, + volume controller stopped working. So I couldn't use it anymore. Too bad!

I've bought 4 of these. The first two, lasted around 18 months between them, as I regularly took them for 50+ mile bike rides, and being sweat resistant is not what they market it for (but seemed to do the job very well)The most recent 2 I have bought, have new packaging. I think maybe Motorola have new batteries in these ones because they last frigging forever! I charged it up last night from new and have had probably a good 5 hours worth of playback. Anyway, they fit great, they are wireless, they are $cheap, they sound really good and the microphone is actually very good!I wear specs and it sits very well on my ears. They pair with multiple devices. They're just fantastic - get them.Don't get their S10-HD's, their so-called sweat resistant headphones. They are the polar opposite of these guys. The S10's are junk!

Note: Read 'edit' comments added at the bottomI too did a lot of research on bluetooth headsets in preparation for OS 3.0. In-ear headphones bother me (recently found the wired PMX-80 II painful), and I need to be able to hear traffic around me while riding my ebike, so on-ears are pretty much what I am looking for.My paper analysis showed this S305 and the Nokia BH-503 Wireless Stereo Headset to be likely candidates. I got this because I found it locally first, at Frys. Suprisingly, it was about 20% cheaper there than Amazon - although I got the only one they had.It paired easily with my iPhone 3G with OS 3.0, and on the iphone these functions work:1) Volume Up/Down (local to the headphones only, it does not adjust the volume on the iphone, nor does changing the volume on the iphone have any affect on the headphones)2) Pause/Play - song stops and resumes3) Stop/start - holding the pause/play button down stops the song, and if you press it again the song starts at the beginning4) Call answer/disconnect5) Microphone - the headphones' built-in microphone works just fine with the iphone. I was worried I was going to still have to use the old talk-into-the-bottom-of-the-iphone-while-wearing-headphones trick, which was great when I was wired, but not convenient if I leave my iphone buried in the bottom of a bag because I have wireless headphones. The only thing that doesn't seem to work with iPhone 3G are the next song/previous song buttons, which I already knew about, so I am thrilled that everything else does work.Range is exceptional - I was able to get 15-20' away, through 2 walls, and still have signal. I used to have the original, bulky Logitech F0361A bluetooth on an ipod, and sometimes my body position would be enough to block signal (Note - I personally verified that the Logitech F0361A does NOT work with the iphone, and I have heard that the Freepulse does not work either).Microphone quality is passible. People seem to be able to understand me OK, about as well as with any of the quality bluetooth earpieces I have tried.Headphone sound quality is acceptable. I found the 'loudness' EQ setting on the iPhone matched my sound preferences the best, wheras with my old logitechs I preferred the 'classical' EQ. They might be on par with my old PMX-60's (no EQ). I miss the detail of my Sennheiser PMX-100's (no EQ) but I am willing to trade a certain amount of quality for wireless freedom - especially since I don't have to mess with a bluetooth transmitter flopping around. It is another thing to plug in and charge though.Fit is comfortable, I have an average-to large size head. They ride lighter on my ears than I expected, and don't seem to interfere with head movement. The 'Princess Leia' effect is on par with wired on-ear headphones. My wife usually complains about on-ear headphones clamping her head too tightly, but she likes these as much as her PMX-60's.What else? Control buttons are easily to find, the volume buttons feel kinda loose and rattly, so I am worried they may blow around in the wind on my ebike, and make noise. EDIT - no rattling noise problems, and the volume was plently load to overcome wind noise while riding at speed - EDIT. I'll report back on Battery Life. After turning off my 3G, I was able to pair this with my wife's 1st-Generation iPhone. However, sound only came out of the iPhone not the headphones, and the controls did not work, even though the bluetooth icon was lit and the headphones indicator was blinking green. We forgot to try calls, mabe that works, but I don't see the point of using headphones only for calls. She'll have my 3G as soon as I score the 3GS though so it won't matter.Edit: Shortly After I wrote this review, I purchased the Nokia bh-503. They are heavier and larger than the S305, but they sounded MUCH MUCH better, and the microphone quality is much better. I ended up returning the s305's. If I was a runner, I might appreciate the s305 more, but the Nokia BH-503 is just fine on my ebike. Also, the new OS3.1 allows the iPhone 3GS to use voice commands from bluetooth headsets. This means I can press the 'power' button until it dings, the phone answers with a chime, and I can say 'Call Robert' or 'Play artist pink floyd' or 'Play next song' or 'Play previous song'. Those last two commands are especially important, since Apple has blocked the next/previous buttons on bluetooth headsets, even though it is a standard part of the bluetooth profile.Oh, and I ended up getting Mrs. Oatnet a 3GS too - and selling my 3G on ebay paid for most of the upgrade.

Overall the Motorola S305 is a very good B/T Stereo Headset. I have had it for almost a year now. It paired very easily with Windows Mobile and Android Phones (Samsung, Motorola, HTC); as well as my B/T equipped laptop (HP).Wearibility-wise, although it caused the some annoying discomfort in back of my right ear, it rested well over the ears. Perhaps a softer (rubberized?) padding around the plastic band would have helped. The audio/call control buttons are placed intuitively. I found the B/T range to be excellent. A very nice feature is that with my phone set to mute, I could receive the various audible notifications (email, text message, incoming phone call) on the headset. The sound quality is very good although not as good as in high-frequency range an "in-ear" set might provide but this IMHO is a trade-off (as most in-ear sets don't have very good low-frequency reproduction). The volume range is excellent which compensated very well for the muted highs.I have worn this headset while working-out and had no issues. Over time, as sweat accumulated on the foam covers it lost its softness. I finally figured out that removing and replacing the foam pieces after cleaning them was a cinch.I highly recommend this B/T Stereo Headset from Motorola.

I love these. I used to have Logitech wireless headphones years ago when they first came out... but those broke one time too many. I went on to a set of Nokia headphones... still work great, but they're bulky. I love this slimmed down version. Sound is great. Easy to set-up and subsequently control while working out. Range isn't bad. I had my Iphone on the 1st floor and got good sound without interference on the 2nd floor. Downside is that sometimes there's a rattle on the right; if I play around with the control buttons specifically for sound, it goes away. Small issue but annoying.

Ive used these a few times so far and love them! I love having great sounding headphones and not have to deal with a cord. I just hope the rechargeable battery holds up over time. I don't think the battery is replaceable.I've owned these for a few months and so far, so good! The battery lasts for a while, and I've only had it die on me once. Now that I know approximately how long the battery will last between charges, I make sure to plug it in more often. I'm still hoping to get a few years out of the internal battery as I've stated before.

I have used these headphones almost daily for over a year and can offer the following feedback.- Build quality is very good and quite sturdy. On first assessment they seem very fragile since the components are very slim and streamline. After a year of heavy use they hold up well. Note that these are NOT sweat-proof and are not advertised as such. My first pair lasted just over a year with the earphones getting soaked daily from running. Despite this, for the price and the amount of abuse I put them through, I feel I got my money's worth. If you don't use them during physical activity I'm sure they will last quite a long time. I just purchased a 2nd pair of the S305's after trying out the Motorola SD10-HD for 2 weeks. Despite the SD10-HD's advanced design and sweat-proof features I still prefer the S305 because of fit and proper function of music playback and call features. The SD10-HD was disappointing in those respects.- Fit is quite comfortable and you can almost forget they are on. Your mileage may vary in regards to fit. The plastic arch connecting the headphones will mold to your head over time. If they lose their shape due to being at the bottom of your bag under a bunch of items, just re-shape them and leave them out for awhile. They will regain their shape quickly.- Pairs easily with iPhone 4 and all headphone call/music playback features will function with iPhone 4.- Battery life seems to be closer to 4-5 hours. Not the 6 1/2 listed on specs. On the plus side charge time is very short; less than 45 minutes.- Buttons for answering calls and playback are spaced very well. The volumes buttons take some time getting used to.- Sound quality is ok. If you are an audiophile expect all bluetooth headphones to fall well short of wired ones. Convenience of being untethered is the draw here.

This item works well sometimes, but it's pretty inconsistent. Sometimes it cuts out, sometimes people tell me they can't hear me well. And the controls on the thing... well, if you put in some concerted effort to learn the locations of each button and practice pressing them, you might do OK. But seriously... the buttons are very smoothly incorporated into the design... so smoothly that they are almost unidentifiable by touch. So you can take the thing off and look at it, but then you've lost your connection. On the upside, all that smooth design makes the headphones very aerodynamic, so when you finally get frustrated and fling them against the wall, there's minimal air resistance. It seems that this is the designers' main concern, in fact: aerodynamics. God forbid a button actually protrude enough to be distinguishable by a finger - that would ruin the smooth trajectory one can achieve by lofting them out a fourth-floor window...

I download podcasts to listen to while I'm driving, and I thought this would be a great addition to my "road kit".The headset is really great -- the sound is perfect, deep base, excellent audio quality and construction. No matter what the description says, however, I'm unable to successfully pair this headset with both my iPad and my and Android phone at the same time. I know it's possible to pair two devices to one bluetooth headset -- my Plantronics Voyager PRO+ headset can easily switch among two different phones and the iPad. For some reason, this Motorola unit just can't manage it. Just when I think I have them both paired, one doesn't work.Honestly, I've never used the microphone as I've just removed the Motorola headset and used the Plantronics headset when I received a call.Pros:- Excellent Audio- Excellent Construction- Easy to Use- Easy to Pair (to one device)Cons:- Can't easily pair to more than one device.

I sleep fine in any bed, with (or without) any pillow. I never send back dishes at restaurants. I've never had a bad taxi driver. I've never cried over a haircut, or even withheld a tip. I'm really not a whiny person. But these headphones sure as hell don't fit my head comfortably. The earpiece covers my ears at a strange angle. The plastic bar piece that goes over the ear is bulky and uncomfortable. The back part that's supposed to "hover" over your neck is weird fitting and looking.Maybe if I had giant ears that stuck out from my head and pointed forward...

I will say that I got a great sale price on these. They were definitely worth the original price. I really was looking for something like this since wires get snagged and are generally a pain to move around with even at the desk. Circumstances led me to find a pair under $50 and the price just dropped. I'm a happy boy.I am always concerned about wireless anything. The pairing process is usually a pain if you're not a gadget head no matter what. If it doesn't connect when you figure out how to do it, it'll set anyone on fire. These connected nicely and didn't even need to go to the website or dig for documentation which was curiously not in the package. The sound quality is very good for a wireless device. I'm not an audiophile and tend to like music with heavy distortion. Sounds better than most wired headphones I've had. Definitely not noise-canceling if you're into that. I like to be aware of surroundings. These are good for that and should be great for working out.
