Easy to install and quick compatibility with Skype made this webcam a great gift for my mom who is NOT tech-savvy. I will be purchasing one of these for myself as well.Pros:- Quality look and feel- Good picture quality- Easy to use- No-brainer Skype compatibilityCons:- none that I've found so far

This product was well designed for a non technical person to install and use. I use it with Skype and word has it from my family (whom I have skyped several times) that the picture quality is very good.

Very clear images in HD when connected on Skype to different regions of the World to chat. Built in sound is good as well. Stills taken are as good as a regular digital cameras. Movies I tried was in close range, was clear. Carried the laptop live through the rooms, and clarity was very good. Controlling back light makes the pictures very clear across the world.

I have a Dell Latitude with Intel Core 2 Duo at 2.00 GHz and 3.00 GB of RAM running Vista. No problems at any resolution, although the cheesy 'effects' are only possible at lower resolutions, which I believe is a function of Microsoft's software not a hardware issue. I found setup to be dead simple, and the moment I opened Skype, it worked great. The microphone is better than the one built into the laptop, according to my callers. The image quality is superb, though of course it needs Skype HD support. Great industrial design tops off a product I'm quite happy with!

This webcam is pretty beast. On paper it offers good specs at a lower price than say the Quickcam equivalent. In real life usage then cam works well even in low light conditions (at least vs my old webcam). You'll need a fairly strong computer to run it properly but, in most programs it works like a dream.

First off, though I'm a logitech fan and have used the c905 before, in my humble opinion, this is easily one of the, if not best webcam out there in the market. Its picture and motion quality is great and the 720p definitely shows during skype and video recording. Definitely recommend it to you guys!

I design and install VTC suites for a living. I compared this unit to Tandberg's 720p Movi camera and found that it was almost the same as the Tandberg unit. This device was about 1/4 of the size and weight of the Tandberg unit. This cost me $60 the Tandberg unit cost $400. For the money and small size it is worth it.

Overall, this is a pretty good camera. I purchased it on a recommendation from a friend last month. Since then I've used it a dozen times for Skype calls, and I've never had any problems. The people I've called have all commented on how sharp the image is.

Yes that's right! Linux and Mac Compatible!!!I plugged this camera into my Fedora Core 11 machine (praying all the while) and was amazed that it was not only recognized immediately, but that it provided a stunning picture in Camorama, Cheese, and Skype. Not configuration needed. It was true plug and play! Same goes for my MacBook Air (Late 2010).

I bought the camera the other day and did a video review if anyone is interested in seeing it. I also did a side by side with the Logitech 9000 pro hope you enjoy it.On my site I also listed the Resolutions that the camera supports. the problem is some of them are strange resolutions that my Streaming and recording software (Vidblaster) cant scale properly.personally I think this is a great camera and a nice set to the right direction[...]
