It was a solid mono pod buy the play in the feet was just too much.

It’s not the lightest monopod you can buy, but it feels very sturdy, and it’s not too cumbersome. I feel like I could fight off hungry alligators and go golfing with this thing. The plastic latches bother me a little bit, given the robustness of everything else, but they work great and I’ve had to problems with them thus far (3 months). The levers can be tightened if they become loose with the little clip-on tool that falls off the monopod when you’re unboxing it. I’d recommend taking it off and putting it somewhere in your camera bag or pocket.

Great build Quality..Manfrotto is the best.
Two versions are available flat base and half bowl
This is flat base and it's perfect for my use.
Here is the unboxing and review

The legs extending from the base could be longer and provide a little more support, but I have been able to hold an a7iii with a 70-200 GM without touching it in the collapsed setting while not using it for a few mins.
So far I have taken this thing in the water at rivers, in baseball dugouts, etc. It has held up well!

Excellent product for indoor / out door video shooting.
Full metal with excellent finish which justifies the high price of the head.
Too heavy (almost 1 kg) for fitting atop a portable tripod.
Very smooth panning and tilting.
Tilt control knob: Can fully lock the tilt with the screw knob provided.
Pan control knob: Cannot fully lock the panning with the screw knob provided.
Pan control knob could not fully lock the panning and allowed the base to turn with some extra force. Because of this defect the head could not be secured tightly to the tripod's 3/8" screw.
I spoke to a Manfroto service technician who also admitted that the pan control knob indeed was not working as it should and therefore had to return the defective product.

This is a very nice monopod-ish device that I use almost every shoot, and can only extoll its virtues and find little to complain about (weight, but, it does have those nice feet at the bottom).

The head of the monopod only has fluid tilt, the pan is base and is not adjustable. So if you try to have one hand on the grip and pan, the grip moves as well, which is not great for getting a smooth motion. To unlock the ball joint in the base, you'll have to bend down or lift the entire monopod up to get to the lock.
For these reasons I returned it and went with the Libec HFMP.

The product description says "boxed weight 2.60kg whereas it is actually 3.64kg on my electronic luggage scales. It is approx. 80cm x 16cm packed in its case making it a bit cumbersome to carry around all day and climb mountains but still reasonably light to carry for specific projects. It is much lighter than many tripods of this quality.
The fluid cartridges on pan and tilt provide just enough resistance to ensure ultra smooth constant speed pan and tilt. You can lock it in position on both axis. The slide plate allows you to adjust the camera tilt balance so when I fit my heavy zoom lens on the front I can counterbalance by sliding the plate & camera back. Even if you forget to lock the slide plate it will NOT accidentally fall out when the camera is tilted. READ the instructions to ensure the slide plate is in the correct orientation (arrow pointing to the lens) when fitting to plate to the camera and to the head.
As mentioned by other reviewers the bubble level is only 1cm diameter and awkwardly located below the slide plate/camera. It helps to tilt the plate fully forward & down so you can see from above that the bubble is over the centre dot. You need 3 hands; one to hold the head level, and one to lock the ball joint and one to hold a small torch to see the bubble!
The only plastic pieces are the tripod leg locking mechanisms joint, feet pads and the ball joint socket, but they are substantial and I do not see any long term problems. Note that the 'ball' itself is metal (not plastic as stated by some reviewers).
In conclusion, I have had cheap tripods but they are only good for SLR's. For video you should not stint on quality. It may seem expensive at £300 (+extra for postage) but it is much cheaper than many professional quality tripods and is worth every penny. I do not regret buying this excellent tripod which has substantially improved the quality of my filming particularly on zoom when tracking a skier or sailing boat, or just panning a landscape.
In the few months since using it I can say it definitely adds a professional quality makes a difference to the movie quality by taking out the wobble common to amateur movies taken by hand and enables steady panning.

1.The tip of the thread is different.
2.the ring to rotate is very stiff unlike the original one which is very smooth.
3.the washer is not flat and show some sign of usage.
4. The marking on the back is different. H vs M3
If Digital2U mentioned they are selling replicate ones, I will not buy them.
