I bought this camera for an interview via Skype. I've never used a webcam before and never used Skype, either. The set-up was easy and the picture quality was great.

This camera functions well. However I wish it had a base that would sit flat on a surfece.. Perhaps you should consider giving the customer a choice.

I got a Toshiba Satellite Netbook that came with a webcam. If fails horribly compared to the one on my broken HP Mini 2140 so I decided to get an HP webcam to supplement it; mainly for the autolighting feature. Unfortunately, it doesn't do it as well as I wanted to but still considerably better than the Toshiba one. I didn't install any of the software and just used it via plug and play. Windows 7 installed all the necessary plugins by itself and it was ready to use. Its a bit grainier than I like but all in all, its very reasonable for its price. Plus, it has a mic. The packaging was quite poor though. I wish I had taken a picture of it- the box seemed already opened and the main cover to pull the webcam out was taped. It seemed like it was second hand, but I didn't see any scratches on the webcam itself or the USB cable. Still a little suspicious though...

OK, easy to use, and install. Spends most of the time in a drawer somewhere. Thought I would use it to Skype, but just too darn messy... I pick up the phone and make a call.

We ordered this for my 83 year old mom when her old camera wore out. She was able to plug it in and call us immediately. The picture is much clearer than with the older webcam too.

Less bell and whistle than the more expensive Logitech C270 unit, but function acceptable and without any differences for Skype. Save your money and purchase this model instead.

It works fine but does not stay on top of your laptop. So why bother with it. Buy a different one.

Entry level camera. Works well, does everything I need it to do. I primarily use this as a web cam. Works with Skype, Oovoo and Tango. Quality product. What I would expect from Logitech.

When down loading the software, it would stop and assk to keep going? I did and it made my PC act up so had to remove it. Then ordered a Microsoft webcam and it works perfectly.

This thing is awesome! Clear picture, great sound. The picture is also not too dark either, works well with light. What more could you ask for!

Excellent value for the price. The camera showed up earlier than expected and has worked flawlessly since setting up. I would recommend this to anyone looking for an affordable camera to Skype with.

Camera did not work with XP WIndows computer. Returned to Amazon. Software was not compatible with WIndows XP operating system.

its not a top knotch camera but it does it's job...i use a mic that i own so i dont know how the mic feature is but well its better than a laptop webcam so im pretty satisfied

Not a whole lot to say, hooked it up in 10 min. worked fine. Got a scare at first because I could not see the small green light on the front that tells you it's on, but after ten minutes of reading had it going just fine "OP error"...back in my COMM days (crypto maintenance) the "OP" was operator error.

Still use this everyday after buyin over a year ago. Works on my mac and PC. Good image quality and clear mic. Easy to install and set up - in fact only needed to be plugged in.

This is a nice, simple external camera. We discovered too late that my wife's laptop did not come with an internal camera (what were we thinking?) so this was an easy fix. Camera hangs easily right on the upper edge of the laptop screen and now we Skype away the evenings when I'm on the road for business. Reliable, easy to set up, works well with Windows 7. My 7 year old can operate it. I can't ask for more in an add on camera. Enjoy!
