Plugs in and works great. I use it for calls on skype and the other person can hear my clearly. On my mac, the button +/- volume control changes the computer speaker volume, but doesn't change the volume of the headset since it's usb. But that can be adjusted using the sound settings instead. The reason why I rated this headset 3 stars is because the band that goes behind the head pinches the top of my ear. There are no adjustments other than the head band length.

Recently received this headset from Amazon for use with Skype. Most soldiers here in Afghanistan have this particular model or ones very similar. Figured that tells me something! Worked great for Skype, clear sound on the speakers, in-line volume adjustment works like it should, and voice came out clear on the other end without much background noise(connection speed based). Highly recommend this headset for everyday use.

Great lightweight USB headsets. USB is the way to go to make calls on your computer or listen to music. I like this design because it doesn't mess up my hair. Of cause, the only problem is that this is not good if you're going to use your headset for an extended period of time (over 1 hour). Logitech is a brand I can trust and the quality is fantastic.

OK quality sound but it broke in less than 4 weeks. First signs of trouble were Windows (XP) intermittently failing to identify it (this while it was in use). Unplugging and re-plugging usually fixed that. Within a week the headset died with a huge burst of crackly static. Logitech should be ashamed to put its name on a product of such poor quality. Even at this low price a headset should be better than "disposable".

I bought two of these headphones to use with Rosetta Stone and both failed within 2 weeks. Headphones and mics were intermittant and constantly went in and out like a bad cell phone. Don't buy these.

I needed to purchase a headset microphone for some online classes and thought this was a great buy at first. The first time I used it, it worked perfectly, great sound quality, microphone worked well, etc. But it never worked after that. I tried it on several different computers, and it wasn't recognized on any of them. I have a mac so I thought that might have been an issue, but it didn't work on pc's either. Not sure what happened but I returned it.

This headset doesn't work for the reason of the usb connection. the usb connection is really loose and is very sensitive. I know some many say its my computer but all other usbs work fine. I think its the product. When it is in and you don't touch it it works good though. As soon as usb is touched because its loose comes undone looses connection. Hope this helps someone. I ordered different headset now.

They do what you expect for the price. We use them mostly to listen to video presentations, not as much for something requiring higher quality like music, but everyone's experience has been good. Occasionally also used for voice chat, and they work great for that as well.

I have win7 and bought these thinking they would be good for computer gaming. Boy was I wrong!First of all there are no drivers and no driver support for these. Windows 7 automatically configures your driver (read: you'll only ever see vanilla drivers). So good luck if you have a problem like I have.Secondly the headset shows up as "Speakers" in your sound panel. This may be the main problem, if they were recognized as headphones then maybe they would work as advertised. As a side effect of this most games will think you have a speaker setup.Most importantly (for me) when I load up any game the sound is completely backwards. Left is right and right is left ... which renders the microphone useless as well since you will be wearing these backwards!Overall the experience is completely broken.

These work well. Good sound quality from the microphone and decent sound from the earphones. They could be a bit more comfortable, but it is just because of the over the ear design, which is convenient, but maybe not the best for extended use. Good solid quality and good performance. I would recommend.

I have had this headset for 3 weeks and it works great with skype. I have it connected through an usb hub and the sound is very clear. The headset is very durable and comfortable to wear. I use it for 3 to 4 hours a day. The headset is well worth the price.

This is a no-frills, no-nonsense USB headset from a quality vendor of computer accessories and a pleasant surprise for its price range. It's quite comfortable and the ear pads will adjust themselves to the person wearing the headset.It's a multi-functional USB headset for which the short microphone boom on this model *really* stays out of the way, even when not tilted upwards. I find myself forgetting that this headset comes with a microphone in the first place.A buyer familiar with LogicTech products knows she or he may expect a quality product. Even so, the audio quality is still impressive for this price range and there's no inline volume control, which means one less failure point.Overall, an outstanding buy from a quality vendor of computer accessories.

I used this with my laptop. It was working well for past week or so, and the sound was decent for skype calls. But just this morning, it said the device is unknown. Plug in/out, and still same error. I'm a device driver developer, so I looked into INF and SYS and all that. But nothing. It seems after enumeration, something breaks in hardware and then it stops working. It "feels" like broken bypass capacitor problem. I was going to try debugging, but it's not worth my time; I've already spent way more time on this piece of garbage than necessary. Unfortunately, all these products are like gambling, hit and miss. The consumer becomes field testers... I'm going to try Plantronix next, but I have my doubts.

I love this headset. It's quick, easy, light, with great sound and nice to work with. I'm really impressed with the sound quality for such a small pair of headphones. They're light, I barely notice they're on.Pros: Light and comfortable. Computer had no problem recognizing. The sound is great on both the input and output. The inline controls are easy to switch.Cons: The cable is a little long. After wearing this for three or four hours, they make the tops of my ears a little uncomfortable.

I use this set for my online teaching thru [...] and it's been easy to use (USB hookup) with my Mac laptop, it sounds as good as I could ever need for speech, and it's cheaper than it should be. Unless you need pro-quality for music or subtle sound, this is excellent.

Works out of the box on my new iMac with Snow Leopard just as advertised. Have to set audio preferences and you are good to go. Bass is a bit shallow but otherwise fine. Length of neckband is adjustable and mic boom rotates away as needed. very comfortable all around headset and I'm happy with it. Comes with usb adapter which must be used for Mac.

I bought these headphones to play games online. I had another more expensive pair with volume control and other features, but the sound quality was poor. These are "less fancy" with no volume control or on/off speaker button, but the sound is crisp and loud, the mic is unobtrusive, and they are comfortable to wear for long periods of time. Even if you are playing in a room with other noise, you will still be able to hear teammates easily. Yay!

I've been very happy with the sound quality of this headset! I've used it with my Windows 7 PC and my PS3, and in both cases, it sounds great and performs without any need to mess with driver settings. Well worth the relatively low cost!

I searched almost all headsets offered by Amazon.com and finally I opted this one to purchase after reading all features carefully. And thank God I chose the right one. On the very first look, I found it very solid. After plugging it in USB, I was amazingly happy to hear its voice quality. I'd say, nothing is bad with this headset under these rates. I'd definitely recommend this, if you want to buy one within this price range.

I bought this product as a companion to a language learning software and the mic barely picks up what I'm saying in a quite room. It also doesn't fit properly. The only reason for the two stars is it does vaguely get the job done so I can't give it one or zero.

Although the sound quality was good for the price, the headphones broke within a week. Not only did the sound quality degrade, but the microphone is no longer recognized by Windows 7. Although it may be a software problem, I cannot recommend this microphone to anyone in search of a cheap set of headphones. Search elsewhere.

Stereo, mic mute switch, volume control, behind the head design. It's exactly what I wanted. I got it for my computer and playstation 3, works with both. Only thing that holds it back is the volume control is up/down buttons. A dial might be better, but, this isn't too big a deal. The mic can be difficult to position at times, at least for me. I'm tall wear a size L or X/L hat, if that helps.It works though. I hear things clearly, my friends hear me.

I purchased this headset for gaming, VoIP, music, and watching movies. These headphones are just fantastic. The mic quality is superb. When speaking over VoIP, the voice comes out crystal clear and I do not need to speak very loud for the listener to hear me. Listening to music on these is great.When I was shopping for a headset, I was paying careful attention to simplicity; this headphones does not have a controller on the wire and it only has a single wire. They are also lightweight and comfortable to wear for hours at a time.I would highly recommend this pair of headphones to anyone who is looking for a simple, high quality headset. You cannot go wrong with these at this price!

This item is VERY good per the rewinding factor. No more getting tangled up in wires.Great for books on CD or podcasts. sound is a little "tinny" so I would not recommend it for music affectionatos

I really like the quality and simplicity of this low-cost headset. Extremely lightweight and comfortable to wear. Sound and mic quality are perfect for my needs (Skype, music, pc games). Treble highs and low-end bass seemed fine to me. Personally, I also do not prefer mid-cord volume controls in other headsets, so having a straight-forward USB plug-and-play connection instead was a definite plus. If there is a drawback, it is probably that it might not appeal to people looking for high-end sonic experiences and/or luxuriously padded earpads.
