There's enough five star reviews on this thing that one more isn't going to matter. They're all correct, it's awesome. A bit pricey but nice!!!If you're using it with a PS3, the buttons on the shifter double as a controller (sans the Start, Select and PS button).

If you like driving, you've got to have this. This wheel, a proper mount and seat for it, and Gran Turismo are a must have. Pricy yes, but cheaper than than the real cars. My Roush 427R Mustang sits in its garage because I'm inside playing. Yes, this wheel's worth it.

I use this mostly for playing GT5 and love this wheel. It is a must have for racing sim enthusiasts. Fanatec is another racing wheel that I would also consider buying. If this wheel was wireless, it would be perfect.

best steering wheel sim setup I've seen to date. (or at least under 1000 dollars) and the 6spd with a REAL slippable clutch makes it all worth it.

Ok sim racing fans, this has got to be the best main-stream available wheel. I have had nothing but enjoyment in using it. The only hassle is set-up and tear-down: wires galore (it sure would be nice to have a dedicated sim racing station). It would be awesome if they were able to implement wireless communication between the components...

I bought this wheel for myself for Christmas and I absolutely love it!It's built with stainless steel and leather and it feels really sturdy. I was surprised at the weight of it when I got it from the UPS driver.I use it for open wheel racing, so I use the paddle shifters way more than I do the sequential or gated shifter. They work flawlessly. And I'm sure I've shifted thousands of times already and they still feel like new.I have used the gated shifter a little, but I haven't configured the wheel to work with heel-toe downshifts, so I can't give an opinion on how well that aspect works. I'm using it to play rFactor.And the clutch, brake and gas pedal all have an appropriate "weight" to them, meaning the pressure you have to apply to the gas pedal is different than the pressure applied to the brake and clutch. That's a really nice touch!The force feedback is excellent as well. When a car is sliding through a corner or driving over the curbing, you really feel through the wheel that that is what's happening.All-in-all, I'd say it's a great wheel for the money!

I bought this wheel without seeing it in person, and wasn't 100% sure what it would be like. It turns out to have a very solid look and feel and seems more or less like driving a real car. I can't compare it to other wheels, but I can say that this wheel gets the job done and makes driving games both more fun and easier to win.

Recently got this for christmas and was totally floored by it. I had a few racing games that I used to play with my keyboard but that didn't evn come close to what you could pull off with this wheel. This is a very high quality item, as shown by the metalic and leather trim used on various parts. The reason I decided to go with this one other than the others it because of the shifter, which I'm glad I did. I tried setting the shifter to sequential like the other wheels and I even tried using the paddles but it just wasn't the same around a track. Although I will admit that the paddles are better for drag racing than the shifter. The motors are sweet and pack some serious kick, but the nicest part of having the force feedback is that you can feel when your tires lose their grip or when the road surface changes. Highly recommend this for anyone who wants to play racing games.One more thing...thanks to the clutch pedal, I was able to teach a buddy of mine how to drive a manual car without risking him messing up the clutch on my real car.

I'm not an eloquent guy, and certainly not a frequent Amazon reviewer, but I just thought I'd clear up questions if anyone else is in the same boat I was (PS3 owner looking for a wheel).I love driving sims for PS2, and thought the G25 would be a great way to get my dad to play some games too. I wasn't sure how the G25 would work with the PS3, but lo, it's flawless. Hooked up via USB, the wheel can fully mimic the function of the Driving Force Pro, so Gran Turismo and ToCA give you everything they've got. It also has a lot of future potential with the Gated gearbox and clutch-pedal that most current games don't use. The only reason you might keep a sixaxis handy is for the "home" button to quit to the XMB (ps3 OS)."Feedback" is an understatement, as the word makes me think of the N64 rumble-pack. Most of you potential buyers are already aware of the wheel pulling you out of turns, or giving enough feedback so you know just when you're about to lose grip through a corner. But the G25 can be so subtle that it almost creates a "3D" feedback map. I'm not sure how to explain it, but when your in-game left rear tire hits a rumble strip, it feel like that specific tire has really hit a rumble strip. I have no idea how they do this with just two force motors in the G25.In any event, the quality of the road-response is absolutely worth the price, which is already pretty decent here with free shipping. The DFP was tempting, as I've tried it on a PS2, but this wheel is much more subtle, much better looking, and will be the gold-standard for future driving games. No regrets here, just a happy father-son bonding experience and less wear on our real-world cars.

I will start by saying that this setup is half excellent half ok.The steering wheel and force feedback are the best there is,The gas and break pedal have a nice range of sensitivity,and are made of aluminum.Now for the "ok" part.The H-Pattern shifter has no guides like a real car,so it is a little difficult to hit the right gear in the heat of a race.Sequential shift is easy enough.The unit also feels fairly solid to me.Now for my least liked part of the whole setup.The Clutch pedal,I do not know if it's the games or that sensor.I play race 07 and GTR 2 with this and about 90% of the clutch pedal is useless.It feels like an on/off switch at the very bottom of travel.If I turn sensitivity down in the control setup I no longer can use the clutch for neutral.Very unhappy about this part.over all I like this setup,BUT if I had known about the clutch part of this I would have gone with something cheaper.

After searching the web to see what wheel(s) work with PS3, this was one of the most frequently mentioned, so I bit... and very glad I did. So, if you've got a PS3 and contemplating getting this wheel but not sure if it will work, rest assured it will.For best results on a PS3, hook the USB cable to port 3 (or 1?), and restart the system without any other usb cables attached (no controllers), and then you are all set for some serious fun with this thing! Just use the keys on the gear shifter to get your games up and running.Of the freely downloaded demos I've tried from the Playstation store, I found the following to work with this wheel, most with some degree of FF. Keep in mind I do not use the gear shifter, so I can not comment on the workings of it on these games.Ridge RacerGTHDSega Rally Revo (only worked when restarted as above) -- has serious FF!Motorstorm - peddles do not work, but the buttons on the wheel will take their place. The Boost feature is on the shifter control, which is awkward, but it does work. No FF, tho.Stuntman Ignition - no FF.In addition, the two full version games I own both worked, with FF intact: DiRT, Need For Speed Carbon. I believe the DiRT demo does support the wheel.

Having used the Logitech Driving Force for a number of years, the new G25 is a great step forward in driving realism. The G25 keeps the precise steering of its predecessors, as well as adding a bit more steering resistance. This helps in giving a precise feel as to when the wheel is centered.The clutch and 6-speed H-shifter is what I've been looking in steering wheels for years. The three pedals each have different levels of resistance. The shifter is a bit light in the shifts, though, but it does get the job done. My only other wish is that the steering wheel could have more buttons, so I wouldn't have to reach over to the shifter console as much. That aside, this is a great set and worth the price, if you're looking for a touch more realism than the average steering wheel.

After having one of the trusty ol' Thrustmasters many, many years ago, and then making do with various joysticks for a decade of piddling around with my Sims, my wife surprised me with this Cadillac (neh, a Ferrari and Rolls Royce all rolled into one). All I can say is, Wow... With nearly six-decades on the planet, younger/faster reflexes will often beat me, but the G25 is a great equalizer for those of us who'd really like to hang around the track in real-time again, but don't have enough hours left in the business week to keep a car competitive, let alone haul it back and forth... Anyone who has hung around real race-teams even at the local/amateur level will love the realism of the G25, and the easy trip to the exotic tracks of the world -- all while sitting behind first class equipment and not needing a second mortgage to do it.Installation was quick on my workhorse XP machine -- although there is a basket of wires to get sorted through, but essentially a no-brainer... The G25 seems totally comfortable with my older Sim software (but now offers a compelling, and irresistible, reason to upgrade), and the separate mounting of the gearshift console makes getting the ergonomics right, very easy... Haven't begun to use all the features yet, but my track times dived almost immediately - largely due to the accuracy, precision and correctness of the movement - subtle moves translate into subtle moves, not jerks and sporadic twitches that separate this machine from lesser mechanisms... The smell of leather after a sweaty hour of racing Steve Kinser or Tony Stewart adds measurably to the realism and enjoyment, and the force-feedback is almost transparent... it does the usual wheel twitch when something "hits" the front wheels, but also handles the more subtle feel of the front-tires starting to let go at the beginning of understeer/push... nice, really nice... the grin factor is huge.

couldn't ask for anything better. got this for my friend for xmas and he loves it. it's got a great design. we tested this wheel on NFS: prostreet on the PS3 and it works soooo much better than a controller. i definitely recommend this wheel over any others if you can afford it.

Got this for xmas and it's a Class A Wheel. Solid made, shifts great,No compaints. A little expensive,But like I said it was a gift for me,but I would still lay out the money for it myself.

Pros: The G25...what a steal from Logitech. Pricey, but if you love sim-racing games this IS the THE wheel for the priceCons: Mine was shipped poorly, a minor scratch on the shifter.

I've been driving a Logitech Momo (black) for about 3 years, and loved it. Until now.This new wheel, pedal, and gearshift set is, in a word, awesome.With 900 degree wheel rotation, stronger force feedback, a clutch, and gated shifting the level of realism is unbelievable.Did you ever want to go racing, but couldn't afford the time or cost? With this set and Live For Speed, GTR2, rFactor or (one of these days?) iRacing's as yet unreleased programs you can. And after some practice "in the privacy of your own home," you can go online and race LIVE with folks all over the world. You heart WILL pound and you WILL sweat!Okay, maybe I'm weird, but at 60+ I still manage to find time to race 10-15 hours a week! And there are no long, tiring drives to the race track, no hotel and food expenses, no long waits for the other classes to get off the track, and no long drive home with a wrecked car on the trailer behind you. An hour behind the wheel is an hour racing.I have a heart valve problem and there are times I wonder if this is really safe after all!

First the good.The feedback is strong and prescise. Very smooth steering and it will immerse you into the game. NFS Most Wanted and GTR 2 are great with this wheel. The shifter is awesome, although you do not want to beat it up. A ginger approach makes it work best. The pedals are very solid with good tension, although you have to have very small feet if you are going to use all three. I use my clutch for the brake forgetting the middle pedal.Now for the bad.The clamping system works, but for how long? Plastic screws are only going to last so long, and you have to really tighten them for the wheel to stay put. There are mounting nuts on the bottom, but are you going to drill 2 holes through your desk? Microsoft has a superior clamp in my opinion. The shifter works well, and I am sure it will last with care. Be nice to it though. The pedals are to close together. Other than that, they are perfect.Overall, I highly recommend this wheel. For the money you can't get a better wheel.

I bought two of these wheels for my game center down here in San Diego. I have to say that this is simply the best wheel I have ever played on. The pedals don't have feedback (something I wish someone would work on), but they do have a certain amount of resistance which only adds to the emersion. The 11" wheel is perftectly solid with 900 degree rotation. Size really does matter.With tons of customers continually on the wheel in our racing chasis, I have not once had a problem with the hardware failing. We here at the Lost Sleep Club HIGHLY recommend this wheel.

Considering the Logitech website states that this product isn't available until Oct.31st, I don't know why people are ancy. Mine came 3 weeks ahead of Amazon's estimate.ANYWAY... Phenomenal build quality, largest diameter wheel available, and sturdy pedal base are among the highlights. The shifter unit feels flimsy, but as long as you don't overdo it, it should last. Its still just cool enough that they were able to pack in a gated shifter with a sequential option. I've played rFactor, GTR2 and Richard Burns Rally with the wheel and the feedback is awesome. GTR2 probably does it the best. If you're ready to step up from consumer wheels, and you can't afford the prosumer BRD and ECCI stuff, I don't think you'd be disappointed with this.

I've had a few wheels before, but finally Logitech came out with a wheel thats simulation grade. The 6 speed shifter works great, and as for the clutch, I've found that there are plenty of games that support it, including GTR2 and Need for Speed Carbon thats just coming out. Besides the lengthy setup and steep price, this is a great wheel for a great racing experience.
