It's hard for me to write on review for this camera because it doesn't really work with my MacBook! Seeing that previous models supported both windows and MAC, I didn't even think twice to check if this, the newest model, did. It doesn't.It will work with photobooth and skype, but you are not getting the full 1080p quality that would make it worth the $$$. It's a shame because it seems well made, and even the lower quality is fairly good on photobooth. I guess I'll have to get a lower end model that only does 720p, there don't seem too be many other comparable alternatives.

This version is OK because I did not know that this webcam did not have a driver packager for the mac platform , I heard the C910 had drivers for the mac platform but not for the 920 which does not make sense. I have been trying to use it on my windows 7 when I use the a VM version of windows on my Mac OS X mountain lion on my Mac book pro but it is not working as I thought it would.So i am just using the webcam with an Ethernet connection on my mac book pro to do video interviews on Google Hangouts. I am just a little disappointed that Logitech did not include a driver package for this version for the Mac. It is not recommenced unless you have a Mac or you decide to use the C910 model

Using this in a Mac Mini with 2-monitor setup -works fine with Mac OS X 10.8.2 (Mountain Lion), using the Webcam Settings app -setup was turnkey.Video quality improved over my old Logitech Quickcam 9000, and with the C9200 I can now control Zoom, Pan & Tilt via the Webcam Settings app.Cannot comment on the mics, as I use a separate mic (the Blue Mics Yetti)

I got this web cam for use on Mac OS X, even though it's not advertised as a Mac product. Other reviewers said that it works, and I was happy to be able to confirm their finding.Now everyone I Skype with sees and hears me much more clearly than before.

read several reviews that said this was a solid web cam - had been using a Gigaware which cost about the same amount of money. the difference is incredible.I have 1-2 conference calls per week with company and they immediately noticed the improved sound quality and video quality. Definitely the way to go - highly recommend this one

I had an important video conference and got the camera out to set up the night before. I was a bit nervous I would have trouble but set up was a breeze. I plugged it into the usb port and hit yes to install the software and it did it all.The picture and resolution are great - and it autofocuses well. I had NO TROUBLE at all using it with Adobe Connect when the time came. Everything went very smoothly, and I noticed that my camera was looking the best out of the several people involved in the meeting.I also like that the mike is built into it. It works well and gives very good sound.The only problem I've had is that when it gave me the option to choose what software to edit photos and video with, I said Adobe Photoshop and Premiere, and it doesn't integrate with those. It simply launches the program and you have to search for your photo and/or video. It had the option of using some software provided by Adobe for this, and I wish I'd have just selected that, because now I can't get the option back to change it. I'll probably just restore my computer back a few days and reinstall everything. That software integrates with it, or so it says, so you could crop pictures you take with the webcam, and I think that's the main thing I'd do, so that would be handy to have that integration available.I like that it gives you the option to have a mirrored image or a flipped image. I like it a lot better when it is like looking in a mirror so that made me very happy to see that option.Easy to set up, great performance, HUGE 15 megapixel photos. What's not to like?

I was looking for widescreen format, HD capability and omni-directional sound - I found them all in this unit. The lens really makes it. For the money you just can't fint a better webcam. Thank you Logitech.

I love the camera and the quality of the build and the picture. I had some trouble with win 8, but it seems to be working better now. I use it for skype and for oovoo, works well with both.

Using for Skype. Figured my built in camera on the laptop was crap so I saw this on sale and jumped on it. The folks we Skype with say it's quite an improvement so that's good. I didn't install the LT software so I haven't done any recording so no opinion on that. Maybe some day. Versatile mounting as well.I was suprised how small the camera is. For some reason I assumed it would be bigger. Not complaining though. I like this camera.

A flagship webcam: the optics are good, the low-light is good, the microphone is good. For the next revision, it would be nice to get a wider angle lens (which I think is the focus of the c930b business version of this). For the consumer space, until something new comes out, this is the best webcam you can buy.

I absolutely love this camera. I use it for business, specifically Google Hangouts, everyday and for YouTube video recording for SEO marketing. It's a great deal. I set mine up on a mini-tripod and it couldn't be better.

We purchased two of these for corporate use, with Skype as an alternative to expensive teleconferencing software. The webcams sit nicely atop our flat panel monitors. Installation is straightforward. I chose a basic software installation, since we do not need the Logitech VID features. Connected to Skype with no difficulty. The video quality, in our office environment, is exceptional and the sound is very clear. Highly recommended. We liked these so well that I purchased a third.I wish Logitech would make a comparable quality unit with full software support for Mac OS.

for me mainly for it's working in my two OS, like Ubuntu ([...]) and booting for games Windows. on Ubuntu (64-bit) it works without do anything. on Windows XP (32-bit) it goes work without do anything too, but in newly installed Windows 7 SP1 (64-bit) drivers can't be installed with saying "Refuse". so i installed driver from logitech.com and use it's driver, so it goes to work. it is some strange, may be in other windows 7 it will be better. quality in Ubuntu like on Windows. checked with last stable release of skype for linux.

Devive does excelent video, but is poor that it needs drivers (100mb download at that) for just the most basic webcam capability. Many of the lesser models are plug in and go. does not pack well for a backpack or similar if you travel a lot. Its a much better deivce on a tripod vs monitor mount.

Little to no set up. Just added a layer in my XSplit setup and I became a Streaming Sensation. Ok, maybe not that last bit, but it is still an awesome cam. Working on a greenscreen for it now.

There is a reason that many people into live streaming are using the C920. It offers the best value on the market today for an HD webcam.If you are considering a Microsoft product instead... go with the Logitech C920. You will not be dissappointed.I own 3 of them, I have tested live streaming using multiple C920 at once for multi camera live streaming.I also purchased one for my father so he can do web chats with the family.Get one.

This is one of the highest quality web cams out there, IMHO. I love this webcam. Stereo sound and hires is awesome. If you plan to use this for Skype or Face time you won't be disappointed. I get comments on how good the mic quality is on calls. It has features to support some security applications, such as wake on motion, which was not part of my original buy decision but I'm now considering taking advantage of.

We bought this by referral of our IT guy. We are setting up a telemedicine room in our clinic. My IT guy has put it through many types of tests using different services for online use. There is little to no "streaking" (what he calls it). We had talked about the lighting in the room before set up thinking that the overhead (fluorescent) or the window direclty behind the desk would cause interferance but we have had no problems!

Picture is great and the software is easy to install. I had thought that a cheaper camera would suffice, but please don't buy anything with less quality. I went from a good web cam to one that was cheaper and I could barely make out my own image and the smear was terrible with any movement, so I when I got this camera it restored my belief in Skype for example.

It's a very easy to configure cam. Within 5-10 minutes, you can have it running and enjoy the quality of the lens and the sound on Skype and Messenger. Given you already possess the system requirements to handle the cam, the videos you can make with it will come out quite fluid, without any lag or sound glitch. There is a wide variety of settings for quality, resolution, and image capture. Very handy for conference meetings online or for making your own videos. If you're a regular web cam user, then consider getting this one. It will last you a while.

This camera is great, it was easy to install (plug and play) but the Logitech Webcam Software...(not the drivers) but the software is not yet compatible with Windows 8. Maybe someday they will make the software for Windows 8 but for now it's not really that much of a drawback cause you still get all the benefits of 1080p streaming over Skype or whatever other video chat you use.

There was some reviews says that this model has not so good picture as previous one - it is not true. Picture is very sharp and clear. Easy installation. Also grip is very good, you can attached on the top of monitor (I placed it on the LG LED monitor which really thin without any problem). Logitech next excellent product.

Setup in Windows 8 was a no brainer - worked first time with all my apps; Skype, Google Talk, and so on. The clip is interesting; at first I didn't think it would clip to the top of my desktop monitor, but it stays there nicely and is adjustable. I haven't tested the sound yet but the video is really good.

Someone told me to get this webcam because it would take such great videos. I find that to be an overstatement. I am now sorry I did not buy one of the inexpensive cameras that are not for the computer. Something like the flip if the flip was still available. Very sorry I bought it and even more sorry I did not return it when I could have!

So, everything seems to be working fine. Audio is nice a clear, drivers installed quickly, so far so good. I tried recording something at 1080p and it looks graining an blurry. I have a 1080p monitor but the picture quality looks more like 480p. I haven't changed any of the settings. Everything's in auto. Am I doing something wrong? I'm recording at about 2 feet from the camera.Other than that, I'm pretty satisfied.

YES this is the BEST web cam you can get your hands on - especially if you want to use it for a DIY photobooth - a monkey could install it, the quality is amazing, it has the very best attachment configuration I've ever seen, and it washed all my dishes.

I gave this camera a 5 for several reasons. I have used a few other cameras and they have been of poor quality to say the least. I am a big believer in the old saying that, you get what you pay for. This camera may have cost a little more but is by far worth it. The sound is clear, the picture is clear, easy to set up and use. Just overall very satsified. I have a 9 yr old that uses it to Skype and it is so simple to use.

I recently bought 2 of these to test for a project we are running at work and these cameras are very impressive. The fit on every monitor we have. They seem to be very durable and the picture quality is very nice.

Length:: 8:56 MinsI would provide the transcript here, but the video's a bit long. This is a video made with the visual and audio capabilities of the Logitech C920 camera for which this review has been written. I'm rating the camera at 4.5 stars based on its intended purposes: video bloggers and video conferencing.The time it took to make the video and get it ready was very fast compared to my old process. The videos don't need post-processing to look good. So, a 9-minute video took me about 15 minutes to get ready for the web, whereas it used to take about an hour for the same length. Great time saver.Also, note: Toward the end of the review, there's a little flickering. I believe it was caused by some dust that had gathered. None of my other videos did that. It could have been caused by software because I was jumping around Youtube while it compiled, too. So, don't take that as something against the camera. :) Every other video came out fine when I let the software compiled everything together.

I like this camera. The quality of the video and sound are much better then the Logitech c910 BUT I still prefer the c910. Why? Because I feel this item doesn't look as good because it's set in a widescreen display meaning you have to be further away from the camera to fit more in the frame. That I don't like at all. I also am not happy because it's not mac compatible. It works on my mac but it makes me look stretched out which looks extremely weird and is distorting. It's not an accurate representation of what is "Real" so even though they have improved the color and sound I don't like the way this is now a widescreen webcam because it simply isn't flattering. They also should have made this a Mac compatible device. For those who do purchase this item and would like to use it with a mac there is a program called iglasses that you can download (do a google search) I believe it's $19.99 and it helps with the stretching of the picture. It doesn't however make it standard instead of wide screen. Which is my biggest complaint.

You can either read the reviews here, or Google it, but this is one of the top 3 webcams out right now for consumers. I don't really notice the difference with the dual mics, I think its more of a marketing gimmick. I mean, how much good do you really think that two mics less than 2 inches away from each other will really do. That being said, its still a good camera.

camera is great, voice quality is clear.There is no OSX support for MAC otherwise 5 stars. There is a 3rd party product called "mactaris" ($8) in the Apple store that enables the camera, though.

This is the fourth one I have purchased from Amazon. Now I can stay in touch with more family members out of state. Not to mention the friends who are or will be joining the movement for video conferencing. This is the model to get. The picture quality is just awesome.

I've had this camera for a few weeks now and I'm very pleased with my purchase. If you're using the camera on a Windows machine you'll be able to access all the features that makes this camera a star. If you're using this camera with an Apple computer, you'll still get great quality video and audio but without being able to use all the features.In any case, I don't you'll be disappointed.

This is a wonderful compliment to Skype.Video/Sound: The picture quality and colors is excellent. Motion capture is also surprisingly good. The stereo microphone is also high quality.CPU usage: Very minimal. I can run it on some of my older machines with no problems.Setup: Easy, no problems what so ever. Basically plug it in to USB and you are running. There are some settings to run thru Skype, but that's about it.Stand: Very clever design makes for stable perch on a laptop screen or LCD monitor. There is also a camera stand adapter hole if you which to have a serious mount.Overall, I'm very happy with the quality of this webcam. Logitech has done a great job. I highly recommend!
