this microphone is way to sensitive. When I am using it for Dragon NaturallySpeakingn it picks up every sound, including music being played through the ear phones. Anytime there is any noise it is absolutely useless

The headset worked well with my Windows computers, but hasn't worked well with my mid-2010 Macbook, particularly using Skype and Webex. The problem resides with the microphone (listening quality/levels are fine). Folks on the other side can't hear me very well.

Sound quality is great for listening with clear accurate sounds and mic is great. Light weight and comfortable and adjustable headset. I like that it is Without a usb because i can choose easier if i want to change the sound quickly. For example, if you want to "mute" yourself quickly just pull out the plug. Durable construction and seems like quality materials. Made in Wisconsin I think. I had one where the mic got loose from being moved up and down too much and broke connection but amazon replaced it which was very nice. That is the only "con" is you can't be too abusive with moving the mic and if you do don't just pull hard on it and it should last a decent amount. One of the cheapest headsets on here.

I bought this specifically for Dragon Naturally Speaking. It makes a myriad of mistakes, even after spending days with it, it was still mistaken t's for v's and other similar mistakes. This is all after I went through 5 very long training sessions in Dragon. Don't be fooled by the fact that 'Voice Recognition' is in the product title, it is not a good choice unless you ONLY want to use it for Windows voice commands, which it's able to do most of the time because there are only so many things you can say.As for audio quality, it's OK, but not as good as a Logitec that I bought locally from Walmart. That goes for the voice recognition as well. I actually returned the Logitech specifically becuase of the positive VR reviews on this. The Logitec was by far better in both cases, yet still not good enough for VR. It's time to buy quality, no more cheap fixes.

Item was suggested with Dragon Naturally Speaking software. Software already came with headset, so was not needed. Item is very reasonably priced, comfortable to wear and works well. Very easy to use.

I bought the KS100 to go with my Dragon Naturally Speaking 10 and it works great. I piddled with voice recognition programs before but they never really worked for me. Years later with better software, a faster computer and a decent headset, it actually works really well. Though I still have to use my keyboard, for those who have to input a lot of text, this makes it much more relaxing, and, for those who aren't really fast typists, much speedier. Bottom line, this is a good inexpensive headset.

Very good audio in and out. I use this headset probably 3 times a week with Skype video chats and it works great. I wanted to use it for dubbing video, too, but it turned out not to be a great product for that particular route. Still, it does exactly what it's supposed to and I'm glad I got it.

For what I wanted these for they worked really well for the price for about 4 months. After that the mic part wouldn't work. I assume it was a wire short. I would recommend not folding them up or adjusting the mic location to frequently. When that part goes you are left with a set of headphones.

This is a great item very easy to wear fits well easy to use. In fact I'm using them right now to write this review. If you need a great set of headphones with voice recognition mic these are great pair to get. I get wonderful use of the them they fit well they have easy adjustments and are real comfortable to wear. They are the best set that I have owned yet. And I have go home through many sets. Before I got the these.

These headset speakers and voice recognition are replacing the crappy one's included with Dragon Naturally Speaking 10. There is no comparison to those headsets.

No where did it say I had to have office for this to work. I have words but it still wont allow me to install. Office cost over a hundrend dollars to buy so i will have to spend more money to get the deal I got for dragon to work. Should have said that some where on your add and on the box.

i still haven't learned to use the voice recognition as of yet but these headphones ROCK!!!!!!! exceptional quality and the stereo sound in them is phenomenal. I highly recomment tese to everyone.

Good purchase. Inexpensive price and gets the job done. Good sound quality. The headset is somewhat rigid, in that it has limited movement, but it works great. No problems with it.

I purchased this headset with the sole purpose of using it with my Nuance Dragon Naturally Speaking software. The product works well for this purpose. The headset is fairly light weight and the microphone can be easily positioned for maximum clarity.The price is relatively cheap compared to a "higher end" product.Bottom line? I'd buy the product again and I would recommend the product.

I like these because the sound is clear and the headset is comfortable. Prefer the type of ear pieces they use on this instead of the vinyl. Much better.

The fit, feel, and sound are great but the performance with Dragon NaturallySpeaking 10 was horrendous. The headset is now sitting in a drawer, perhaps someday to be used for Skype or some other VoIP service.

I am giving this item a single star because it DOES NOT come with an adapter such that one can either reduce the two plugs it comes with(one is for the mic one for headphones) to a single plug in, or to a USB plug in. Almost all other manufactures do supply adapters for the most common possible hook-ups (such as a single headphone jack or USB).My daughter had to purchase these headphones with her own piggy-bank money because she had damaged 2 sets in a short time...the last pair was a brand new set that came free with her Rosetta Stone software which worked well and were far better quality than these. Also, the one from Rosetta Stone had a mic and a single plug in that went right into the STANDARD headphone jack on the front of the computer. Unfortunately, her rabbit chewed the wire on that pair.I was able to finally find a configuration for which both the mic and headphones work (and aggravation one SHOULD NOT have to go through). The plug in configuration was at the expense of unplugging the speakers. WORSE, I looked on Koss's website and found that they SELL the USB "y wire" adapter for 29.99 (keep in mind that the headphones are 19.99). I think this proves that Koss has in fact heard of USB which is still one of the MOST COMMON connectors.Furthermore, the widely practiced non-standardization policies of the electronics industry as a whole are horrible for the environment. Think of all of the extra "stuff" that one has to waste their time and gas buying (not to mention the waste of nrg that goes into manufacturing adaptors) as a result of no standardization.These headphones represent one of the "prize winning" environmental offenders in this catagory (non standardization).Yes, one could argue I should have called the manufacturer and asked if they had considered that this product would necessarily only be used for sound and voice on a PC - and as such had they made any effort to ensured it could be plugged into a PC WITH EASE. Gee, I don't know why that didn't occur to me before we purchased them!

Actually, this headset was recommended by University Alaska Southeast for an inexpensive but reliable product for use during an online webmeet class. I was pleasantly surprised by the clarity and white noise reduction. The headset has a long enough cord where you could get up and move around without having to stretch to reach for something.

Plantronics is a lightweight communications headset,stylish headset solutions.Plantronics headset easily connects It is a headset of comfort.However, Koss sound level produced better sensitivity. But it is too heavy. I believe that the comfort lies in the light weight of the headset. I do not agree with anyone who did not use plantronics before who just got in to Koss and state that Koss is light. I bought a Koss because the cushion in my Plantronics is misplaced. Otherwise I would not have bought a Koss. It is also more expensive than the plantronics I used wihch is $9.99. Yvette. R

The headset is very light and comfortable, it might seem fragible but it is made of pretty good material. It will not apply pressure to your ears, and the earbuds are very comfortable, as well as having a slight 30? degree rotation (on its axis).As far as sound quality goes, it is above average compared to other cheap headsets out there (~20$US seems to be the above average price). The speakers sound pretty decent, as long as you use them for voice. The high notes are pretty notable (accentuated a little bit too much), the midrange is ok, and the bass surprisingly manages to perform very well for the price. It is there and it serves the purpose of voice chat.As far as the mic goes, it is not a professional mic (those are $30-$200), but it manages to perform well.The microphone is very omnidirectional, so keep in mind for example I have a somewhat loud computer fan half a meter away from the mic, and you will hear it in the background.As far as voice range goes, it manages to capture low notes pretty decently, again I have to restate, for the price, it is what you get. If you are not doing a radio show or a podcast, then this is great for voice chatting, gaming, voice recognition, etc.A good tip would be to adjust the mic to be above the mouth by a few degrees and also turn its inner face way from you. Doing so allows for a better sampling of your voice as the recording will not be crippled by constant air noises from your breathing.On the technical side, you might want to note that the microphone also has an outer side, so not only it captures your voice, but the ambient noise. The cord is pretty long, just enough to be comfortable, but not long enough for you to roam freely (I have it plugged in the front of my computer).Final note: Good headset for the price, good for people on a budget.Recommendation: If you want better quality, pay more, but if you just want to voice chat on Skype, this is great and cheap. Always test audio products before you buy them.

I use them for dictating into Dragon Naturally Speaking, and they work great for the most part (as anyone who's used this program knows, you have to be patient and continually "train" the program). My only complaint (and it's probably not really a fault of the headset) is that if someone pops their head into the office and says "Hi!", or if the phone rings, the headset picks up this extraneous noise and the dictation recognition is affected. Maybe I should just close the door... Bottom line--I would definitely buy them again.
