I ordered these because MKBHD gave them an awesome review on youtube. I have to say, they're nice but not 179.99 nice. I use the Bose Freestyle Earbuds, Ice Blue - Wired with Bluetooth Headset SBH20B and get much better sound quality and comfort. No matter which tips I used, they got uncomfortable after 20-30 minutes and had a tinny sound to them.
Sorry, Jaybird! I wanted so badly to like these but they just missed the mark on comfort and sound quality compared to the bose headphones similarly priced.

Good battery life
comfortable to wear
good sound quality with an emphasis on lows and mids...not soo much on the highs
slighty above average volume
Built quality is mediocre, feels cheap

A little pricy but well worth it. These headphones are light, you hardly know you are wearing them and the sound quality is great. Even better than that, I had a long conversation with members of my family using the Jaybird X2 headphones. The could not tell I was talking on a wireless headset and told me the quality was outstanding. I also like the fact you can get them in various colors.

WORST PART IS LOOKS LIKE FRANKENSTEIN FROM FRONT VIEW.(YES, REALLY GOOD FOR HALLOWEEN COSPLAY). THATS WHY THEY DON'T HAVE CLEAR PICTURE OF PERSON WEARING IT FROM CLOSE FRONT VIEW. BATTERY DIDNT LAST AS LONG AS THEY SAY. EARPHONE WHERE YOU PUT INTO EAR HOLE HURTS BECAUSE IT DOESN'T HAVE VENTILATION. I WILL ACCEPT THIS IF THIS WAS UNDER $70. GOOD SOUND QUALITY (AS GOOD AS APPLE'S $30 EARPHONE). PLEASE RETURN IT THEN I WILL TAKE OFF THIS HONEST REVIEW.

Over hyped and only lasts me 2 workouts which in total is about 4 hours a week. Giving it another try this week, if it still sucks then I do not want this. Oh and by the way i have to constantly forget my headphones in order to re-pair it. I expected better.

Great product! I bought these over a year ago.
The battery life is only about 4 hours, but that just means I have to charge them before bed. I have had them break a couple times. The wire connecting the two headphones would short out, causing one of them not to play audio. However, customer service was great and they sent me replacement headphones free of charge two times.

The Jaybird X2's have been amazing wireless headphones. I bike commute 2 hours everyday and I can actually here my audiobooks, news podcasts and scriptures crisp and clear with no wires or fuss. Can answer phone calls and text messages too. Pros: reliable, good battery life, excellent outside noise control. Cons: price, sometimes lose an earpiece, mic picks up a lot of background noise.

I did my research and found that Jaybird X2 Bluetooth earbuds are not only amazing with range (even through the walls at my gym at a tech company where there are tons of signals that could cause interference) and the comfortability is a 10/10 the different tips made me feel like the company really thought about the consumer. I gave it five stars because there isn't a sixth star. BUY IT!

I went thru 4 headsets in under 1 year. I will say they sounded pretty good, not as good as my Bose but close. They just stopped working, wouldn't charge or even turn on. Also needed aftermarket ear buds cause the ones they come with are junk, they don't stay in place. I had high hopes when I first got them because of the sound but I went with plantronics and have had no complaints.

This is an awesome products. I was a little worried about the duration life of the battery being only 6 hours. I thought over time it would certainly lose some of its capacity. I bought this almost a year and half now and the battery is still as good as when I bought it. I believe this is got to be the best wireless Bluetooth ear buds I've seen on the market. I highly recommend it.

I wear these every day to the gym, and I mean every single day. Whether it is a stretch day, yoga day or heavy lifting day, these things are like my gym partner. I absolutely love them. The bass is unmatched. The sound is fantastic and the customer support is better than anything else I've ever experienced. These folks really care about their product and their customers, and it shows.

Terrific product; I run 30-60 miles and lead 8 hours of Spin classes a week and the Jaybird X2s stay in your ear, and once properly fit, block 90+% of the surrounding sound. They sound great, pair easily, and maintain their bluetooth connectivity. In short, they just work great. Not inexpensive but sometimes you get what you pay for.

Amazing. I have sennheiser On-ear headphones and they have near same quality, which is very high quality for an ear phone where you would not expect such sound. Highly recommend. Great range (can go 3 basketball courts away with no dropped signal).

Amazing product. In my opinion, the best bluetooth headphones out there.
The lifetime warranty is what sold me originally.
I ended up needing to make a warranty claim after owning them for a little over a year.
The battery was not holding the charge anymore. Jaybird said NO PROBLEM!
I had a brand new set in my hands within a week.

I own Jaybird X2's predecessor, JayBird BlueBuds X, and did some comparison. What I found was a bit of a surprise: X2 had exactly the same sound quality and battery life as BlueBuds X. So, functionally-speaking, you are paying more for nothing. You are paying extra for more colors and newer (and better-designed) carrying case. Don't get me wrong though. X2, just like BllueBuds X, is the best BT headset currently available on the market. But the fact that Jaybird hasn't really improved their product over the course of the past 2.5 years while putting a higher price tag, is just disappointing.

These earphones DO NOT WORK as they indicate. I've gone through 2 pair and after a week they stop working. I would carefully wipe them off after my workouts and they still stopped working. A cheap set set for your workouts will do. I've even had a cheap pair of headsets go through the wash and come out working like new. Don't bother spending thist much money on these headsets.

Sound not much different from the free earphone that come with the smartphone. The range of of the Bluetooth signal is also not as far as I was hoping. But for a Bluetooth earphone, these sound great. It connect with your Bluetooth device very quickly. If you just wish to have a good sound quality in-ear headphone, just buy one with wire which is a lot cheaper and doesn't require charging. But if you want to have wireless in-ear headphone, these are great.

By far the best headphones I've used. From small house hold chores to full contact sports these headphones are built to stay in your ear with a comfortable fit! The Bluetooth abilities for this device are one of the best out there I have never had a failed connection indoor or outdoor. A great product for any individual who simply enjoys to listen to music in there active life!

The sound quality is one of the best for wireless earphones. But I especially love the durability of these earphones. I feel like these will last me forever. And when I have trouble with my X2's I just call customer support. The customer support is the best I've experienced. It's not a company as big as Beats with Apple so they are quick to help and they are patient with you.

I would give these things no stars if I could, because they are a waste of money. I had them two months and they shorted out. Because they're so "sweat proof". And because that's not considered normal wear and tear, I was told by customer service that that didn't fall under the guarantee.
Don't wast your money. I will never buy another Jaybird product. Ever.

2. Unprecedented uninterrupted Bluetooth signal.
3. 3 clips to trim wire
Cons:
1. Doesn't stay in ear while running. Slightest turn of your head and tip pops out of your ear.
2. Sound quality is very poor.
3. Given previous 2 factors price is overwhelmingly high. It seems like the vendor decided to milk the market using purely marketing innovations.
Everything above is IMHO

Very good product, does what it says.
simples and easy to use.
resists water splashes and rain quite well.
had it over a year, and it has outlasted my other earphone by a mile (same period had at least 5 pairs of other brand).
not a high end sound product, but for the price and use of sports and everyday, it is more than good enough.

I previously owned Blue Buds X and thought I'd try the X2.
I am please with the increased battery life, better sound quality, and more color options.
I'm not gonna lie, I prefer the Blue Buds X wing tips as they are softer in my ears. The wing tips for X2 are harder and less comfortable, so I just use my Blue Buds X wing tips with the X2s as they're interchangeable.
Jaybird - how about adding a purple or pink to the color options? :)

I have been using Jay bird headphones for several years now and I haven't gone one training ground session without them. The Bluetooth connection and sound quality is great. I use them almost every day whether it is for hands free phone calls while driving or running trails in the mountains. I love what this company stands for and there products are by far my favorite.
