P4O lite E do consider twice
First experience... Lovely bodywork and good feeling in hand. Look woow in first touch, it's shiny... And after that nothing is easy... DOES NOT WORK with any platform owned by GOOOLE. material is so sensitive to get crash.. My device just landed from hand on the table and top camera lens got crashed in tree round... It still does photos but broken lens does make reflection visible on photo.
HUWEII app store has nothing to download, maps, messager, Gmail app, YouTube, just so complicated to even transfer your data from old divice.
Once if you like challenges is for you.
I am not, in every single thing you will meet some unexpected complications and is good level of your energy to get it back in place. In person I do not recommend software in this phone, and nothing more to recommend than excellent look body, but that is really last thing to compare with

Terrific Huawei!
This device is astounding! It's a budget phone but it does far better than what most persons think. There is absolutely no reason to buy a smartphone for £500+ even if you can afford it! This"little" phone is very very fun functional! My wife is using it and she is just super pleased about the capabilities use of finger print, extended battery life, clarity of camera, crisp and clear audio, plus it's multitasking capabilities... The phone works! And I recommend it! Whenever you get it just ensure its charged for 8-12 hrs overnight before you really start using it.

No Google
I like Huawei devices, I like that they offer good value. They have top range for reasonable prices and mid-range for great prices compared to others. However, due to the US concerns that a Chinese company is overtaking American companies like Samsung and Apple Huawei was forced to remove Google services. This is unfortunate as it is hard to use at the moment without it. I'm sure Huawei will eventually make equal or better programs but until then it's sadly a phone that is hard to use for anything more than phone calls and texts. For the moment I will stick with Huawei devices that run Andriod 9 as the still have Google services.

Great phone - I recommend.
Great phone. No issues at the moment - it's operating fast, the camera and video quality is good. The sound could be louder, but you could always plug in your headphones. I've also found that I have to charge my phone once or twice a day if I'm constantly using it for hours on end - which is reasonable. Mirror screening works a treat on this phone so you take your viewing pleasure or music listening to the next level. Overall it's great value for the price paid 👍. I'll try and update my review over time if anything changes or I discover anything else.

Fantastic value for money
I used to use the Samsung Galaxy series, then later an LG. I switched to Huawei initially with the P Smart (think trimmed down P20) in 2018 and just upgraded to this P30 Lite.
As far as I'm concerned, it does absolutely everything I would ever want to do on a smart phone at a great speed, superb quality and strong battery life. This is a phone which seems comparable to much more expensive, higher end models from the likes of Apple and Samsung. Yes, the more expensive brands or even the P30 Pro may have a better camera, more deluxe materials and be a tad thinner etc. but you're not going to be able to really *do* much on them you can't do on this model.
With a blazing performance for all my apps, a solid 4GB ram, whopping 128GB built in storage (expandable via memory card), amazing quality front and back cameras and latest major Android release, I say this phone is incredible value for money and highly recommend it.
Bonus: mine also came pre-fitted with some kind of screen protector.

Great phone without a big price tag
Great phone and spec for the price. I've had a Huawei phone before so had no reservations about purchasing another. Phone screen size makes it perfect for watching films etc. Very easy to use. Loads of internal storage space too. Would highly recommend.

Easy to use plenty of Storage
Had this since april and am very happy with it.phone looks good,decent size and easy to use single handed. Cameras are very good , colour and quality to me is good. Like the memory no chance of wlowing down, not had any problem with using it on android and its fast.easy to navigate thru the phone. Very happy with the purchase?

Great phone but........
Had this phone for 4 days now, some good things, some not so good.Replaced a Motorola g6 which for the money was an excellent mid range phone.
The P30 lite has a great camera, huge internal storage, very quick at browsing and opening apps but my old moto would connect to wifi from 20 metres away, this Huawei drops connection from 5 or 6 metres which considering its a more expensive phone than the Motos G6 upgrade i find a tad disappointing.
The size and look of the P30 lite is great as is all its functionality but £ for £ i would do your research as the Moto G7 play is almost £90 cheaper and i dare say probably not far behing this P30.

Really good for price
No phone expert by all means, just comparing from most recent phones (Xperia Z5, galaxy 7, galaxy 7S).
Camera- not too bad, definetly could be worse but has a strange grainy look and tends to go a little blurry with motion. Have got some good pictures though.
Storage- Going from a 32GB to this, its great. Now I have thousands of pictures I forgot to delete as storage isn't an issue ....
Speed - average
Battery - was really good, I'm a carer and use my phone all day making calls/using maps inbetween to find houses, lasted me all day however, using up the storage caused it to die faster obviously.

Very disappointed!
I am not happy with my new phone. It doesn't work properly, very slow even though it is new and I am only using 26% of the storage. The most of the apps take ages to open or I need to restart my cell phone so I can open it (WhatsApp, Instagram, Gmail..) I couldn't check the camera well yet because it doesn't open or just freeze the screen so I have to restart the cellphone. I am really disappointed!

Fantastic phone for the price
I bought this for my son as it’s a lot cheaper than an iPhone and as an iPhone user I am very impressed with this android phone. It is very fast, facial recognition, finger print recognition and an amazing camera.
Very easy to use and I’ll be switching from iPhone to this when this slow iPhone 7 that battery lasts two minutes goes!
Well worth it.

Don't bother
This phone is awful agd I wish I hadn't bought it. Its unresponsive, slow, typing is brutal, it's just the most frustrating phone I've ever owned.

Value for money
Outstanding phone. All the features work perfect. Hours after buying it updated to EMUi 10/ Android 10. I will never buy again a "flagship phone" If you are a "normal" user, moderate gaming and a few clips you watch on the phone, this is it. Value for money. Even being the "lite" version it does't feel cheap. 100% I would recommend it.

Beware !!!
Be aware - this device does not support ANY apps from Google. You can only install apps from the Huawei gallery and these do not download properly. I had no choice but to return the device. Shame - it is a good looking phone :-(

Impressed
I am very impressed with the quality and features of this phone. The operating system is extremely quick and very intuitive to use. It will be interesting to see how the phone holds up over time compared to the more established brands but at a quarter of the price you can't go wrong.

Good quality phone for a fraction of the price of other phones
I've already got one of these phones they are excellent knock spot's of the iPhone especially regarding the battery life and storage capacity and are fast to use, and the fact that you can add more storage is another bonus.
The only negative was the fact that amazon's driver delivered the phone to the wrong address, and the driver had the audicity to say he handed it to me in person.
Probably was resolved 3 Hours later when a guy at the other end of the village delivered the phone

Fab phone, value for money
Fabulous phone, easy to use. Bright vibrant colours and excellent camera. Love huawei phones, always fantastic value for money aswell compared to the leading brands. Me and my son are both huawei fans and have had 3 phones in total which have all been great

A painful setup
It was difficult to setup.putting in a SIM card who would know you had to push the wire thingy quite hard. Anyway after that there was the registration on google. Having no previous google account made it difficult. It kept saying my password was incorrect and it wasn't . Anyway leaving it overnight helped. It allowed me to re-register. I previously set up 2 lots of email and password and i tried all the alternatives. Need i go on. On third attempt i got in and was able to use the playstore to download the NHS COVID 19 App . So alls fine until i try something else like Music, Games, emails OR social Media.

This is the best phone iv had that I have bought what I would call cheap to other ppl selling them but a lot more then other phones I had, which they said they did the finger print I'd and that and what a joke. You can use any finger or your mates to unlock it anyway This phone does it all fingerprint I'd excellent, face recognition excellent and an lot more so save money and buy this it's the same as a Samsung s10 we'll done seller

Phone With Problem
The phone answered me very well at the beginning, but in the last few days I can't open the camera application. We have already checked the system, booked it at the factory, downloaded other similar applications, but it doesn't work. The flashlight won't turn on either. I would like to know the possibility of exchanging the product, as it is not working 100%.

P40 Lite
An excellent entry-level smartphone for my Grandson. Competently priced, feature-packed and excellent build quality make this a fantastic choice, if like me you live in the UK or an EU country and you have a dislike for Google. The only drawback for those who do like Google is the lesser selection of Apps available through the Huawei native apps for utilities/games but the selection is growing all the time.

Beaware NOT Google Play store friendly
I had the phone with me for 2 hours until I realize that Google Play store does not work on that particular Phone. Huawei has some phone working with Google Play store some don't.
If you don't need Google play store then go for it, great phone I believe at a very sensible price.
If you need/use google play store then stay clear for this product.
At the time of writing, June 2020, I am using the Huawei Nova 5T 128GB (on Amazon) and it has Google Play store on it.

Awful battery life!
Only had this phone a day but the battery life is shocking.... I took it off charge at 11am its now 4pm and its on 20%. I would easily expect a new phone to last all day and this clearly won't be lasting all day which is dissaponting. My old phone which is a 2 year old Huawei p20 lite lasts almost as long!
Really not impressed plus this is the second time I had to order this phone as the first one never showed up!
Apart from that the phone is nice and works fine but I can't imagine it will last more than 6 months with battery life this bad so I'm pretty dissaponted and feel like I have wasted my money.

Pleased with my new phone
My tidy new phone has been so easy to use. I have managed to setup everything really quickly. My son helped me with transferring some items from my other phone but I did most things without assistance. Battery life is excellent. I have managed to navigate all its functions without any trouble and have got used to using in it in record time.
