This is a really good monitor for the money. It is large, well-built, and has a vivid, vibrant screen that is very pleasing to the eye. It also will accommodate either HDMI, conventional VGA, or DVI cables. The latter two come supplied, if you use HDMI (as I did) you have to buy your own.HP monitors usually have the best hardware and this one is no exception. It tilts as desired, and the stand is firm and solid. The frame is black glossy plastic and looks great. This one assembled right out of the box in a minute or so.The screen itself has vivid crisp colors that will please most or all users. Further, the computer has on-board presets for various functions such as text, movie mode, or photo-editing mode. These settings will suffice for most users and each of them appears to optimize the monitor for its intended mode. Color accuracy when editing digital photographs appears to be good.This monitor will please most users. I am more demanding than most and it pleases me. A solid bull's-eye by HP. Highly recommended. I received this monitor today and had it set up in 15 minutes or so. Mine actually came from Amazon and arrived just as expected. Packaging was perfect. Picture quality is wonderful. This is just what I was looking for and is well worth the price. I'm not a computer expert so I can't give a technical comparison but I can say I am very pleased with this monitor!

Talk about one happy camper with all the files I have retype then print them I'm very excited that I have ink for my printer and not have to worry if it gets low because all I have to do is order it then by the time it runs out I'll have a new one ready to go.

I'm sure this is not typical for a HP monitor but it didn't work at all. This wasted a lot of my time as at first I couldn't believe it was a monitor problem. I checked and rechected the cables and went so far as to attache it to another CPU.The screen was always BLACKThe seller handled this problem very well.

I purchased this since it got such great reviews on Amazon. Turns out the reviews are correct. It's a great monitor and easy to set up. The picture quality is amazing. Only issue I had was for some reason I couldn't find the power cord in the box. Luckily I have a bunch of left over cables and found an exact match off my old HP printer.

i'm saying the same thing again.hp, it's the real hp thing.not a refill, a real no nonsense hp.further, it's a combo.now that's a real big differenceyou got a combo assurance, a double whammy!HP, just HP it.

I purchased this monitor as a second monitor for my MacBook, and it is fantastic. It is super clear and changing the settings are very easy. Pictures and videos look great!!! Everything you view is very sharp. This is an excellant buy for the money!!1

HP computers are the worst computers out there. I had one for one year and 3 months. I just found out that my motherboard went out. I had called HP numerous times to get tech support and they always told me it was a Bios update. I even asked to send it in once and they wouldn't let me. NEVER ever buy an HP if you are planning to use your computer for over a year

I recently bought the HP probook 4530 with 4 gb ram and 320 gb oh hdd space. First of all let me go ahead say that the product looks really good and i really love the finish. It doesn't attract skin oil as much as the plastic finished laptops.The battery life is decent but not exceptional. The webcam and all the HP built in-software is okay and does not take up too much resources. I am not a big gamer and hence the graphic detailing with the intel card is good for me. The speakers are really good with this laptop and the sound card has built in equalizers which enhances your listening experience.The only concern till now is the mouse pad and you need to get used to the two finger zoom and scroll. Its really annoying when you type and tends to get in the way. The keyboard comes with a numpad, so that's a definite plus and its quite roomy too. Overall a great laptop for the price and so far no complaints from me.

For my first purchase form Amazon, I'm quite pleased. First off, it's a looker - brushed metal finish, sturdy build, full chiclet-style keyboard, and lighter than I assumed it would be. It'll serve as my main University machine, and I purposely chose a business model 'cause they tend to have better performance and are easier to upgrade. Battery life is good (though I wish there were a 9-cell battery option for even more juice); it'll suffice for my day-to-day tasks.What really sold me is the price tag; it's packed with the latest Intel technology and it's under $500.I got a gripe with the pre-installed bloatware - even though the amount is minimal, only HP ProtectTools and 3D Drive Guard are really worth keeping. And there's a bit if a flex in the space between the main keyboard and the num pad,but nothing that's compromising.Bottomline, the pros greatly outweigh the cons, and the price is hard to beat.

This monitor performs well and has excellent clarity. Full HD 1920 X 1080 resolution is crystal clear and at this price you will not find a better monitor.

Finally replaced my 17-inch CRT. This is a spectacular monitor, clear, crisp, bright colors, I can't say anything bad about it. Set up is quick and easy. There is a CD that tells you how to optimize your view for VGA cables (which is what I am using). I had read the other reviews and worried about screen glare, 'sweet spot', etc. but I haven't found such problems. I have used it in a room with fairly full sunlight and there is no problem. The only point I have to make is that after the CRT this is bright and I mean bright! The contrast is high as well with the factory settings. Because of the surface area you are seeing a lot more white and because of the technology you are seeing much brighter colors. You will have to adjust it to suit your needs. Other than that, as someone else here said, I would give it six stars if I could.

I was supposed to get 2, #56 black and one #57 tricolor...I received 1 black and 2 tricolor. I really needed the 2 black ones, so I am not a happy customer. I just opened the pack yesterday and discovered the error.

Received the monitor as promisted and in excellent condition. Included all the cords I need to hook it up to my computer. Was up and running within minutes. Quality is good. Much easier on the eyes than the 18" monitor I was using. Would highly recommend this monitor to anyone.

Not usually a fan of HP computers but this monitor is very crisp and clear. I am extremely picky but the colors are brilliant and price is excellent. This monitor is just as clear as the Apple screens. I highly recommend! Amazon did a great job as well!

I can't tell you how happy I am the moment I turn this monitor on. Nice bright, crisp, and beautiful quality pictures. I had a Samsung 226bw lcd but it was nothing compared to this one, blows it out of the water! No more glares and no dis-coloring when viewing at side angles! BEAUTIFUL COLORS!BF3 looks gorgeous, along with my .MKV movies in 1080p as well!The only con I have is price but I find it worth every penny after the purchasecurrent settings:text, contrast 70, brightness 90, color 6400 standard.

Very poor, got 18 copies off one of the cartridges. I would not recommend this item to anyone. Buy new, at least you get something for your money.

Still functional even in our $20 garage sale laser printer. We are seeing gradual improvement with each page printed and should be at 100% by 100 pages. Easy to install but a little hard to find the recycling documents. Will take the old one in to Staples.
