Old pump burnt out when hot water system was drained ...
Old pump burnt out when hot water system was drained and pump left on accidentally. Old pump was soldered in but removing the four cap screws permitted using same new motor without unsoldering and plumbing in flange. This model quieter than old one ever was. Impeller design different; improved? Wire connections simple: depress clip, insert twisted copper end and release. Ordered clip on thermostat to avoid accidental burnout and improve efficiency.

this was a replacement pump and works as expected. Price was very reasonable compared to local vendors. Heater now working again.

Not recommended for potable water.
Grundfos pumps are excellent, however the description for this pump on Amazon is incorrect IMO. I would not recommend this pump for use with potable water as the waterways are all cast iron and can rust very quickly (at least this was my experience).

It works
Replaced the pump on my boiler after 18 years of service. At least that's what I gathered from the sticker on the old pump that had '12/94' printed on it. This was an exact replacement part, although there were some cosmetic differences from my original unit. To replace my old pump, I removed the four screws that attach the pump to the manifold and inserted the new pump into the old manifold.
DO NOT run this pump dry or without minimal pressure in the system. The bearings require water/fluid under pressure in order to function properly.
I will say that I am surprised by how hot this motor gets. I have felt the pipe on the boiler outlet and it was actually cooler than the motor housing (so it's not the temp of the boiler heating it up). Apparently it's good up to 240 degrees, and this was nowhere near that, but still... I cut up a soda can and made some cooling fins to wrap around it. Meh.

Great Pump!
I bought this to replace my old Bell & Gosset hot water circ pump for my house. This pump works like a dream. It is totally quiet, in fact I thought it wasn't running when I plugged it in! Huge difference from my old pump.
Amazon was great, delivery, quality, everything. This kind of service is why I have came back to them when I need just about anything!
I have had hot water circulation in my house for over 14 years. Iv'e used bronze and cast iron pumps. No difference between the two for peformance or water quality. I highly recomend this pump. I would buy it again. This is the best one Iv'e ever had.

Used with a Jacuzzi J-355 Tub
I, obviously, had a bad circulation pump in my Jacuzzi J-355 Hot Tub. I've used Grundfos pumps in other, industrial, applications and decided to look in to seeing whether or not they sold a pump that would work with my Jacuzzi. After a little bit of research, I found that many experts actually suggest switching to the Grundfos pump when replacing their circulation pump. I was able to cross reference part numbers and found this on Amazon for roughly half the price of the OEM version. Now, I want to point out that this particular pump is not a direct fit replacement for my particular model Jacuzzi; the barbs are 1 inch rather than the stock 3/4.'" This was realized upon purchasing this, so I knew going in that I was going to have to modify the plumbing a bit. Grundfos does have a 3/4" barb model, but I wasn't able to locate it on Amazon and the retailer where I did locate it was pretty high in price. Anyway, the plumbing modifications that I made to make this work was using a reducer from 1" to 3/4." I cut back the 3/4" tube quite a bit to leave me room to install a shutoff valve and run 1" hose to the pump. I did the same to the output side, running to the heater (minus the shutoff.) While switching out the pumps, it will be handy to have some wine corks available to jam into the hose, that way you do not need to drain the tub. All in all, it was pretty straight forward with hooking everything up, including the wiring. The only other slight modification you'll need to figure out is the use of a mounting bracket. I used the original one and made it work. I have had it installed for a couple weeks now and so far it's been working well.

Einfache Montage. Pumpstufe bleibt nach Abschaltung gespeichert! Ambitionierter Preis!
Läuft seit zwei Wochen problemlos. Die Pumpe kann auf drei fixe Leistungsstufen eingestellt werden wenn wie in meinem Fall der Automatikmodus zu wenig Zirkulation erreicht. Die gewählte Stufe bleibt auch dann erhalten wenn die Pumpe längere Zeit stromlos war. Die Montage des beigelegten Steckers funktioniert relativ einfach! Statt den beigelegten Gummidichtungen würde ich mir hochtemperaturbeständige Heizungsdichtungen wünschen! Ob die ElektronikPumpe so lange überlebt wie meine bisherigen 40 Jahre alten analogen Grundfos Pumpen wird sich zeigen.

Guter Kauf.
Habe diese Pumpe gekauft um ein defektes Vorgängermodell zu ersetzen. Durch den bereits vorhandenen Stecker war auch der elektrische Anschluss ein Kinderspiel. Die Pumpe verrichtet seit mehreren Monaten zuverlässig ihren Dienst.

Alles angeben!
Leider habe ich zusätzlich eninen Verschraubungssatz dazugekauft, da nicht ersichtlich war, dass dieser dabei liegt.
Ansonsten nach problemlosem Einbau läuft die heizung wieder.

Die Lieferzeit war 10 Tage
Bei der Pumpe handelt es sich um eine Umwälzpumpe für die Zentralheizung. Gott sei Dank war das Wetter sehr mild. So war die sehr verzögerte Lieferzeit einigermaßen zu verschmerzen.
