easy to install, but be cautious because the plastic threads will crack if you try to put it on too tight. For that reason and the high cost is why I did not rate this product five stars.

Great kitchen faucet.

Perfect fit / function

I was so excited to get the Grohe Ladylux L2 single-handle kitchen faucet. My old kitchen faucet was boring and ugly and the Grohe looked modern and I'd heard the brand was well-made. I hired a handyman to install the faucet and we had nothing but problems. Underneath my sink the kit which has the spacer and locking mechanisms to keep the faucet upright and tight did not work and seemed to be stripped. After consultation with two plumbers, Teflon tape was recommended to try and tighten it. It worked...mostly. However, faucet still is loose on top of my counter.

As a last resort, we called Grohe customer service on Thursday, 11/21/19 to see if a new locking kit could be sent as this one did not work properly. After much conversation, I was assured a rep would call me by end of business Friday, 11/22/19. No such phone call was received. I was also told that because this was a new item, the kit might be on back order. So, I have a kitchen faucet, which is very expensive, but defective. I wasn't even asking for a new faucet just the locking kit to secure it.

I love the design and the sleek look including the pull-down sprayer, but since the install was not easy nor complete, I can't recommend this product. I have a beautiful Moen faucet in my bathroom that the same handyman installed in less than 30 minutes and it works great - not one issue! If I don't hear back from Grohe after another week, I'm ditching this and buying a Moen to replace.

It gets two stars for the design/look. Otherwise, one star for everything else.

It fits. I hope the new plastic screw in part lasts. The old one disintegrated and the tubing fell off.

Exact factory part

Easy to install. I don't have much of experience in the plumbing department, but this was easy to replace. Replaced about a year ago, have not had any issues since.

This was probably the easiest plumbing project I have done. Removal and replacement was effortless.

For something plastic it sure is overpriced. But what else can you use as a replacement? Got mine just in case and when i changed the hose found out that my old connector was cracked although it was leaking.

Being able to get this part saved us a lot of money.
