Great looks, layout, manual. Decent WiFi.
First off let me say I was originally going with the asrock Taichi but I’m so glad I got this instead. Looks fantastic with the lighting and sleek aesthetic - I also have the aorus 2080 so they match nicely. Easy to follow manual and quick set up and good placement for all headers and sata ports made this a 5 star no brainer for me. Oh also, the WiFi has been pretty good so far. I definitely go wired if you can but if you don’t have a choice the Wifi adapter works just fine for online gaming needs so long as your internet connection is reasonably decent.

Great motherboard
I am using 4 of these motherboards. 1 is on my graphics and video manipulation computer.
1 is on my video server.

5ghz? No problem.
This mobo is EXCELLENT. I previously had a Maximus Hero X and it stopped overclocking properly so I bought this to replace it. Runs Flight Sim flawlessly even with real world traffic and weather on. Overclocks to 5ghz with ease. Temps hover around 40-50c at FULL LOAD. Im using an AIO, but regardless this thing is absolutely amazing. Perfect mid range board. If you are weighing this one versus the Pro, pay the extra $50 and buy it. You wont regret it.

Ezpz and beautiful
One of the top mobos.
Can rely on gigabyte to make some epic motherboards. Bios is simple and easy yet still has the options to be advanced if needed. I am not highly knowledgeable about over clocking yet this mobo was stupid easy to work with to oc my i9 and b-die ddr4 . Ezpz

This Mobo is legit the best one I've owned
You have to get this! I love everything about it and it looks great with the RGB. Only thing I wish I had, was a better case to show it off more. Seriously though, 3 m.2 connectors and stupid good connection to both wifi and ethernet. I love this thing

Solid board but...
Great board, does its job and has more supported features than I will ever need. Using with an Intel i9 9900KS and MSI 2070 Super.
The onboard WiFi/Bluetooth is weak.... until you plug in the antenna. Don't forget to do that. :)

Arrived factory Defected bios problem
I’v been use gigabyte 15 years, but recently gigabyte have arrived with issues and the bios its too complicated I’m presure the quality control in the factory they are not good

Must buy! For i9 9900k
Upgraded from a Z390p (horrible motherboard for a i9 not sure why I even had it at first) best choice ever! i9 9900k @ 5GHZ doesn’t even reach over 80c under any stress test, the VRM’s are amazing and I was surprised that it was delivered with the current bios

Quality Control Issues
Freezes when installing Windows. Seems to be an issue with the ram. I have two sticks at 8Gb 3200 MHz. I tried every possible config. It always senses 2400 and crashes when I try to boot off Windows thumb drive to install OS. I will be going with a different brand.

Boot Loop
Straight out of the box I was stuck in a boot loop. This happened with a previous Gigabyte motherboard, when I switched memory, so I knew this time to make sure memory, NVMe, etc. were all on Gigabyte's compatibility list. When trying to contact Gigabyte's support, I had not received a response within 2 days, so I returned the motherboard for an ASRock that did work.

I did have to update the bios via a flash drive before I could get it to boot to the windows install with a 9700k, otherwise it would just freeze during install. Worked like a charm after the bios update. Have had it running with a 9700k at 5.0 ghz all cores at 1.32 volts with a Dark Rock Pro 4 for about 2 months now and have not had a single problem.

Pesima compra ,la motherboard se dañó a los 3 meses de uso!!!
Tiré mi dinero , la motherboard se dañó a los pocos meses de uso ,y solo daban 30 dias por devolución ..probé a comprar "renewed" ya que Amazon dice dar garantias por sus tecnicos y ya aprendí que eso es una mentira .

Worked perfectly righ out of the box
We use it for business use and video compilation. Setup the settings in the BIOS for our needs. Very easy and straight forward.

Great all around MoBo
The IO is pretty good, could had used a couple more USB ports though, can never have too many of those these days. Gigabyte needs to get their Bios sorted out though, still one of the worst Bios's out there, well behind MSI.

Great for gaming and overclocking
The board was really simple and solid. . It has lots of features for the price point. found the BIOS easy to use and the Gigabyte BIOS flash utility is particularly handy - it is Windows based and finds, downloads, and flashes the BIOS updates without the need to load the update on a flash drive which is great for a custom build

Great motherboard that takes advantage of all the new tech
Upgrading to a motherboard that could run M.2 was a major concern for me. This one runs M.2 in Raid 0 ! It supports all the new tech that I want to include in my new build. Great work Gigabyte! And thank you Amazon for the quick delivery time !

RGB software sucks, the specs are good.
I like the price of this motherboard a lot. You get a lot of bang for your buck, BUT the RGB software is really bad and won't sync the mobo with the RAM cards so that's a bit of a disappointment. It is really buggy and stressful to deal with at times when I just want it to work as intended. Please for the love of god make a new or update your software

After a fresh install on an i7-9700k, my standard speakers produce a nonstop buzzing/feedback noise. This seems to come from the built-in audio controller not shield from EMI.. The only time the noise stop is when you restart/shutdown. Even after I unplugged the speakers, the static noise still audible coming from the mobo itself. Save your money and get something better.

Easy to install, and nice to look at. It has an on-board LED, but be warned - on the UD the LED is only a single color, and can either be on or off. If you want to be able to change the LED colors on your board, or if you want to change the light to pulse or something like that, rather look at one of the slightly more expensive Z390 boards.
This board can handle the new 9th Gen Intel processors right out of the box, and installing both the physical board and the drivers are easy. The CMOS could have been done better (making it easier for the novice user), but that's an old problem with Gigabyte.
