Beautiful board! Would buy again!
So far no issues. I installed this upon recieving. I originally had a standard ASRock board. I was sceptical that it would work right out of the box but boy was I wrong. I hooked it up and it posted no issues. The board itself looks amazing. The only issue I had was getting the software from the site to download but once I did it works like a charm. Would but again.

Overclocks 9900K better than my old boards
Looks good, does what it's supposed to. It seems easier to get stable overclocks out of my 9900k than with my previous MSI motherboard, and my AsRock. but those boards also cost $100 or more less. The armored pcie slots and ddr4 slots seem very sturdy. for once I didn't cringe as I installed my ram haha I think it's an awesome board, and recommend it if you need the features.

High quality, good value. Beats ASUS for i9-9900k.
After a lot of research, I found that the higher end Aorus z390 boards far outperformed the available ASUS z390 boards with respect to power regulation. The ASUS boards were having major problems feeding enough power to the i9-9900k for over locking. I was happy spending less on this board for higher performance. It also has RGB if you are into that. I installed RGB memory and it has no problem controlling it. I’m very happy with the purchase.

Hardware is excellent. Software, not so much.
Great VRMs and even has three M.2 heat spreaders. For some reason though I couldn't install Windows on my Samsung 970 Evo no matter which UEFI settings I used. Had some random freezing issues when waking my system from sleep. Compared to the MSI MEG Z390 Ace that I ended up getting instead, I could install Windows on my 970 Evo with enabling just one UEFI setting and no freeze issues even after a month. I still think Gigabyte's hardware is excellent, but the UEFI issues and even their horrible RGB Fusion software (which breaks all of my other lighting) will make me steer clear of Gigabyte.

Ice cold vrm's and easy to use bios
This mobo is incredible. There aren't enough great things i can say that it doesn't already say for itself. The bios is very easy to use. It comes with a disk for the bios update but I'd you dont have a disk drive like most of us don't anymore then get the bios to where you like, install your OS and then dow load the app center from gigabytes web site and you can get all your firmware and driver updates for your mobo and bios from there. Very east and efficient for overclocking and the favorites section in the bios makes it easy to go to your favorite bios settings with ease. Hope you enjoy this as much as I do becasue it's a beast of a mobo for the price. Ice cold vrm's too.

Excellent motherboard
I helped my son build a new computer using this motherboard. It's well built with a lot of features like built in wireless, usb 3.1, and USB C. Works great. I have an older gigabyte motherboard and having been happy with this manufacturer.

9th gen i7 issue with bios - FYI
Bios ver F6 came with this mobo. Spent the last two hours trying to get windows 10 installed from USB, also bought new with this order. After choosing 64 or 32 bit version the screen would freeze. Bios version F7 contains support for generation 9 intel processors. After flashing the bios to F7, as I'm typing this win 10 has just finished installing.

Ugly but well built and stable for OCed BIM workstation
Rather Gigabyte simplify and dump the excessive packaging to knock a few dollars. Its quite pricey and aesthetics looks like its designed for Manga crazed 10 year olds. Bought it for the 6 layer PCB and impressive power delivery/cooling. Has it running on i9-9900k, works well with mid-budget build to do BIM production workflow and renderings. Its boringly stable running all cores @ 5.0 with a NZXT water cooler during renders.

Just great - Power delivery is super!
This board is great. The power delivery is second to none and the bios is fine. The bios lets you do anything that's needed to overclock your computer. Not sure why people complain about the bios! I'm running the same cpu and graphics card and mt computer is faster. Buy this board it's super... Great job Gigabyte. I'm Very Happy :)

Best z390 mobo that ive used so far and im on #6!
Great VRM's and i mean really good even manages to keep my 9900k bout 7-9 degrees cooler not sure how but think its the OUTSTANDING power phase on this badboy! Took my 32gb (8x4) ddr4 3200 no problem! RGB headers galore as well as a ton of fan headers this is just a great board period! Thanks Gigabyte now i can start saving for that 2080ti!

Well built motherboard!
I've always been an ASUS and ASROCK guy, this was my first time using a gigbyte board and I am not disappointed. The UIBios could have been a little more user friendly, but it was still a 4/5 experience. Great board. Been running solid for 3 months so I'm pretty sure this thing will last me years.

Great Bios -- Aorus control software somewhat ugly
The motherboard has a great set of specs--and so far has delivered on all of them. The BIOS on this board is also very full featured. No complaints there. The Windows software to control lighting, fan speed and overclocking however is somewhat klutzy. Would love to have the CPU/GPU temps displayed on screen as a graphic overlay, but nope. The SIV plugin can display it, but not overlay it over other screens. The OSD3D plugin didn't work at all. Would love to have one click access to led color/cycle control--nope. Would love to have Windows boot and a default color cycle be engaged--but again, nope.
Perhaps the folks at Gigabyte will give up their desire to build a fancy-looking UI and instead, focus on making it useful.

If you have ever owned a Asus ROG motherboard you will be disappointed with this board
Not happy with this board! It wouldn’t run my Corsair CORSAIR Dominator Platinum SDRAM DDR4 3000 CMD16GX4M2B3000C15 XMP. Would reboot and set memory to default. It had pauses when you launch certain apps or games. Coming from a Asus Maximus Hero X. I used this board for 3 days and I am returning it. The bios seems limited. It looked nice in the case. Nice lighting on the board.

great MOBO for overclocking, however...
i got this board and built the PC with i7-9700k and gigabyte 2080 super, however i needed to update the BIOS to be able to use the display from the GPU, so you need an HDMI cable for installation of OS and BIOS. The worst thing about it is the audio, it uses Realtek and for the life of me i couldn't get to work without muddy, muffled sound despite getting last driver from Gigabyte support, i had to buy a usb adapter to plug in my speakers and i'm in the process of getting a sound card. These 2 issues warrant a 2 star review for me but other than that it's a sturdy MOBO with great VRM cooling, got a 5Ghz OC with 1.33v.

Unstable mess
Constant crashing and freezing. Two to three times a day, complete system freeze. No reboot, no BSOD, just everything freeze in place. Changed it out with an Asus Z390 ROG board and that works flawlessly. My current system has been up for 9 days, no problems.

First Motherboard
Like title says it’s my first born. Building with this motherboard was a lil challenging since it’s my first but it was well worth at the end. Comes with everything you need and more. WiFi anttenna came with it. Works fine without one if you’re close, but love how much 10x better it gets with one. Also came with stickers if you like those. Didn’t put them on mine. Bios was was great with being able to monitor your system fan and change the speed. Your able to control any lighting on fans, rams and motherboard. Pretty great.

Good buy
Only bas thing is that the screws they give you for m2 heat sink seemed cheap. Basically one of the two seemed defective and so the screw snapped and I couldn’t remove it because it was near flush. It is possible i over torqued but the other one wasn’t. I wasn’t going to rma because the board functionally works without the heat sink and i was excited to play games

God-like Mobo
The mobo is great, it has practically everything you would want and more. The instructions were very clear, the board was in perfect condition, the packaging was decent, and I had zero issues when I built it and turned it on for the first time.
People hate on its BIOS, I don't see why. It works and navigation is simple.

High Performance but....
This is the second Z390 that I have purchased. It is a powerful board but it meant for knowledgeable overclockers. It is up to the user to exercise proper care that components have adequate cooling so that they do not overheat.

Died after 9 months. What customer service?
As a long time Asus user, I decided to skimp and save a hundred bucks. It worked well while it worked. Then it didn't. Good luck getting in touch with customer support. Do yourself a favor and look up customer service issues before you buy.

Disappointing Product
I have used Gygabyte motherboards for years. I never had a problem. This one had boot issues. It would boot but not complete the boot and restart. If it did finally start the OS it would eventually lock up.

Lots of Room and Customizability
This motherboard was surprisingly easy to install but it was really nice with how easy it was to install everything onto it, it is a durable motherboard, no pins were broken, and it's performance is great so far, really happy with it.
