only 2 fan headers (one cpu, one case)
it only has two fan headers, one for the cpu fan and one for a case fan,
this is a really bad thing if you want any kind of air circulation in your pc case. i used this motherboard in my build as it was recommended that it's good for gaming, but if you want to do any king of high graphic settings gaming, then say goodbye to your cpu and gpu temps. not recommended for a gaming pc.
also, it doesn't have wifi or bluetooth.

Great motherboard, not tht great for overclocking
It's a great motherboard. I have a ryzen 3 2200g apu and this motherboard is sufficient. If you are not overclocking this is the way to go. However if you are overclocking, do note that the voltage settings for everything except the ram is automatic and you have very little control. So I'd suggest going for another motherboard if you do plan to overclock. Overall it is a good one though

Concernant cette carte mère que j'ai acheté en même temps que mon Ryzen 2700X, je voudrait mettre au points certaines choses que j'ai lu et qui ne correspondent pas à la réalité :
- Le voltage et l'overclocking : Malgré certains avis descendant en flèche cette caractéristique, je confirme que cette carte mère overclock sans problème le processeur, même s'il faut être relativement rigoureux et ne pas être non plus dans l’excès. Perso je suis monté à 4 Ghz permanent sur les 8 cores en simultané avec un voltage de 1,25V, et le résultat est très stable.
De même l'overclock de la mémoire s'est très bien passée, avec une montée de 1400 Mhz à 1666 Mhz sans bug.
- Les prises SATA : J'ai lu que les ports étaient mal placés et que la carte graphique bloquait tout. Absolument pas. J'ai une grosse carte graphique prenant 2 slots et j'ai bien accès a la totalité des ports SATA, sans forcer. . Aucun soucis
-Le port M.2 : J'utilise un disque SSD NVME et il a été reconnu direct sans rien paramétrer. Le top.
- Le bios : NON ! Le bios n'est pas vieux ou moche, c'est juste que par défaut il est en mode expert. Alors c'est sur si on y connait rien on trouve ca moche, mais pour ceux qui maitrisent, c'est précisement ce qui convient car le bios est alors réglable aux petits oignons. Ensuite si vous préférez le joli bios avec plein d'icones et de dessins, il suffit de basculer en mode "simplifié" et votre bios sera alors "moderne", peu paramétrable mais moderne.. Mais c'est pas ce qu'on lui demande..
Ces points étant corrigés afin de ramener la vérité sur cette carte mère, je dois dire qu'elle m'a beaucoup surpris. Elle est performante, précise, paramétrable, et suffisamment complète pour une bonne petite config gamer.
Je la conseille si vous avez un budget serré mais que vous recherchez quand même de la puissance.

Why bother shipping your motherboard with the firmware required to actually use the latest CPUs when you can get your customers to buy another CPU in order to do it for you!
I actually RMAed the first board before realising that my newly purchased Ryzen 5 3600 will only work with this board if you flash the BIOS first. But guess what, because it doesn't support BIOS Flashback you can't flash it without a working CPU! So in order to make it work with the (listed compatible) Ryzen 5 3600, I would need to buy another, older CPU, flash the BIOS, then install my desired CPU.
Nonsense and doubly annoying because there are NO post beeps whatsoever to tell you what's going on, just spinning fans and silence!

C'est une Carte Mère (CM) ATX, vérifiez que votre boitier est compatible. Et pareil pour le processeur, c'est une B450 socket AM4, regardez les tables de compatibilité de la CM et de votre Processeur.
Pour les branchements, ne forcez sur rien. Branchez le Proc. dans le bon sens et sans forcer. Il y a des renfort pour les trous des vis ATX, ce qui évite d'endommager la CM. Les 4 emplacements de RAM sont de la même couleur donc pour le branchement des RAM (surtout en Dual mode) référez vous à la notice (incluse).
La boite contient la CM, un disk de driver, la notice en anglais, 2 cables SATA et une vis pour le M.2.
Pour tous les autres emplacement je vous invite à regarder la photo. Les emplacement pour les ventilateurs (fan) sont un peu limités.
Si vous installer un ventirad faites attention à la place qu'il prend, il pourrait toucher les RAM.
Quant au RGB c'est magnifique, c'est uniquement esthétique. Vous pouvez trouver tous les composant compatibles RGb Gigabyte sur leur site.
Et les branchements du F panel sont très bien expliqués.

Originally purchased to pair with Ryzen 2 2200G which works great out of the box.
However, I purchased this to upgrade in the near future.
After a few weeks I purchased a Ryzen 3 3600 , upgraded the bios to the lates version , couldnt get the machine to get through the POST.
Got the CPU replaced , exact same fault, tried all of the usual tricks , removed the mb from case , plug in the bare minimum until it fails etc, I managed to get it to work but very buggy, sometimes the USB wouldnt work , didnt work with my SSD plugged in although the Ryzen 2 works without a flaw.
I assume this was initially designed for the Ryzen Gen 1 & 2 and then when the Ryzen 3 emerged, the firmware was release to allow the B450 to pair with it.
I personally would not recommend this board for anything beyond the Ryzen 2nd Generation CPU.
However, I purchased this to upgrade in the near future.

Partiamo subito dal un principio: 4 slot per DDR4!
Solo questo basterebbe a giustificarne l’acquisto nell’ambito della fascia di prezzo e della categoria di appartenenza ricordando che la maggior parte dei concorrenti offre solo 2 slot.
La scheda in esame monta un chipset di fascia media il B450 che si trova immerso nella declinazione del formato micro-ATX: fattore di forma standard più piccolo e compatto della scheda madre. Questo però non ci impedisce di avere tutto quello di cui un utente ha bisogno: si passa da slot PCI-e 16x a slot M.2 con supporto NVMe.
La scheda esteticamente è molto razionale nel disporre le connessioni.
Partendo dall’alto andiamo ad esaminare per sommi capi le caratteristiche salienti.
Il connettore a 12V per CPU è a 8 pin. Se voleste aggiornare il sistema fate in modo di avere un alimentatore che abbia questa connessione.
A destra i 4 slot per DDR4 fino a 3200MHz in overclock con supporto a XMP garantiscono un bel po' di memoria supportata rispetto ai competitors nella stessa fascia di prezzo.
Installando delle Hyper X da 3200 non sono riuscito a mantenere certe frequenze per più di 3 ore di test in game. Allora abbassando il valore XMP a 3000MHz tutto si è risolto.
Come si è risolta l’instabilità della memoria video condivisa con i driver di Marzo 2019 su alcuni titoli recenti. Quindi, tutto bene ora.
L’alloggio per la CPU è per i Ryzen di prima e seconda generazione (io ho installato un Ryzen 5 2400).
Più in basso c’è lo slot per M.2. La scheda madre supporta NVMe con avvio da parte del disco. Ottimo!
Io ho connesso un M.2 NVMe key B+M ed ha funzionato alla perfezione con valori sopra i 1000MB/s.
Gli slot di espansione.
Si parte direttamente da un 16x PCI-e di tipo 3.0 Avrei preferito che ci fosse prima quello da 1x e poi quello da 16x.
Poi avremo quelli da 1x e 4x (in formato, quest’ultimo, come quello superiore da 16x) che però saranno di tipo 2.0.
Cosa cambia tra 2.0 e 3.0? La banda passante che sarà dimezzata in quello 2.0!
Le connessioni SATA a 6Gbps saranno 4.
Quello che non mi è piaciuto è l’assenza del connettore esterno VGA (D-sub) e il divieto da parte del produttore di poter usare un adattatore D-sub per le porte video disponibili come quella DVI-D presente. Quindi attenti! Siate consapevoli di ciò se doveste acquistare questa scheda madre.
È presente però la HDMI.
Discorso diverso sarebbe se avessimo una scheda video che NON sia integrata dentro la CPU.
Nel complesso posso dire che la scheda è valida per circa 75€ (se arrivasse a 70 sarebbe meglio!) se uno cerca un chipset nuovo e un fattore di forma ridotto (magari proprio con un APU = CPU + GPU integrata).
I lati negativi sono stati l’assenza della porta D-Sub a 15 pin e della memoria che ho dovuto rendere stabile al 100% abbassando la frequenza operativa (NONOSTANTE i Memtest eccellenti).
5 stelle comunque sono doverose per questa motherboard di Gigabyte, la quale ha un’interfaccia del BIOS anche in Italiano.
Consigliata.

This is a review for the B450M DS3H AM4/B450/DDR4/S-ATA 600/Micro ATX Socket - Black.
Ryzen 2600 worked out of the box, the memory speed intitially was only 2133mhz, but a quick configuration change in the bios changed that, the bios has an inbuilt setting to let you max out your memory. BIOS POST takes 6.7 seconds which i do still think is too much time but granted I have a few peripherals connected. GIGABYE has software to let you check stats, perform fast boot, monitor (Although i couldn't get this to work) and overclock (not tried yet).
The black colour is superb, with the default amber RGB light it silently stands out in the case. The RGB options I haven't tried too much, from what I have read this board does not support the full RGB spectrum (only three colours are supported from what i can see), if RGB is what you are after, I would reccomend researching into this.
The bios firmware revision is at first release, it works well though without any issues. The menu seems convoluted to previous firmwares I have used, but it is not bad and has a nice help tab also.
This is a micro board, I was aware of this when buying but with hindsight a full sized motherboard may of been more future proof, more SATA slots and pcie slots can be usefull. If you put a large GPU, it will cover the pci8 slot, and two SATA slots (although you can get right angle connectors and hook them up first). There is also one case fan connector also (you can get a splitter but I think it messes up rpm feedback monitoring). Note this problem is with most micro mobos hence why I have not taken a star from the rating.
Overall, so far a great purchase and works well.

There are other boards out there with better features/capabilities.
One main annoyance with this board is it only has 1 spare fan header, the other being the CPU fan header. I've had to use quite a few Y-splitters to get some fans connected. Other boards seem to at least include 2 or 3 so if you want nice fan control then this isn't the board for you.
The bios is OK, it has nice features but it's a maze. You can adjust the memory frequency in multiple locations, same with the CPU frequency so it makes it confusing what settings you need to change and where to change them.
It does have the feature of setting your own P-States for Overclocking but it's bad in other areas if I had known before I wouldn't have purchased it.
It has a feature where you can save your BIOS settings. Now if you set your PC up with custom settings, make sure you save them to a memory stick or note them down! Sometimes if your overclock crashes or the PC fails to boot, it will reset the BIOS and your settings and saved profiles.
If you have the profiles saved on a USB stick then when you update the BIOS then you'll no longer be able to load them. So best to write down your settings anyway.
I've returned this board because after having issues with the fan control not working properly, and now I'm getting random freezes which I've isolated to this board.
I bought Gigabyte in the past and wasn't pleased with the experience and years later I thought I'd try again and it just isn't for me. Will stick to ASUS or ASRock.

Works perfectly with a Ryzen 2600 out the box and has a good amount of I/O for all your peripherals and other devices. It only has one case fan header so for those who want to put more that 2/3 fans in their case another solution will need to be figured out. I have a fan splitter to fit two fans and it works fine. If this motherboard had more than one chassis fan header id give a 5 star although this may hold me back in the future if i want to have more fans and easily install them. Id advise for further information on this motherboard GO TO GIGABYTES WEBSITE, they have a whole web page dedicated to this motherboard and its features. Its a great motherboard for the money.

Excellente carte mère avec un chipset b450 , BIOS version F2. Fonctionne à merveille avec un ssd M2 samsung 970 500 Go , un RYZEN 5 2600 reconnu immédiatement sans problème, et 8 Go de RAM le tout épaulé par une Sapphire rx 570 4 Go largement suffisante pour un écran en 1920x1080.
Démarrage ultra rapide sous W10 x64 comme toujours avec les CM Gigabyte. BIOS détaillé , facile à ajuster, mise à jour aisée avec le QPlus ( à condition de voir l'onglet ::, ;).
La documentation est réduite à sa plus simple expression, mais avec un peu de connaissance le montage est facile. En cherchant un peu , le support de Gigabyte est pléthorique et les applis et autres drivers sont légions.Un petit regret ,un 5 eme port SATA aurait été un plus, mais j'ai peut être trop de HDD.! L'arrivée prochaine d'un "gros" SSD devrait arranger ça....En un mot comme en 100 , très satisfait de mon achat.

Io col pc ci lavoro. Ho un case intasato da tre hard disk, due SSD e un masterizzatore, oltre alle cose ovvie come cpu, ram e scheda video quindi mi interessa soprattutto mantenere bassa la temperatura interna; invece mi ritrovo una scheda con mille attacchi per strip led e due soli attacchi per le ventole di sistema... Ho dovuto comprare degli sdoppiatori per collegare tutte le ventole, ma speravo in un prodotto più professionale: è una scheda che ha tutto, certo, ma se è ottima per un gamer la sconsiglio a chi vuole assemblare un pc da lavoro.
Segnalo che il BIOS funziona malissimo, anche con l'ultimo aggiornamento è carente di funzioni e pessimo nella gestione di processore e memoria in quanto mancante della regolazione manuale della tensione in modo stabile, e soprattutto se si imposta la configurazione RAID si perde la possibilità di vedere gli altri dischi e di installare il SO, quindi ho dovuto comprare una scheda apposita ormai obsoleta visto che il RAID è integrato in tutte le nuove schede madri da anni. Gigabyte dà peso solo alla forma ma di sostanza c'è ben poco: è poco stabile e manca di funzioni basilari oltre ad essere gestita da un BIOS pessimo. Manco fosse regalata, e a quel prezzo si trova di meglio. Ormai hanno fatto vari aggiornamenti al BIOS e non è cambiato nulla; aspetto l'uscita della nuova serie 3000 di AMD ma monterò il processore su una scheda madre di altra marca. Mai più Gigabyte.

Arrived quickly, well packaged, easy to install, went to Gigabyte website to install latest drivers etc, son plays online gaming and works really well with the Ryzen 5 2440G. I have done budget build list and included this product on Amazon which you can search for - AMD Budget build by Cal-M - or if you would like to see a video on three Ryzen builds just look me up on You-tube "Cal-M complete pc budget builds 2019" in search and you will see the logo. Very pleased with this product has 4 Ram slots 2 large PCIe ports so can install a graphics card when I upgrade it, plus it has a single PCIe port which I have put a Wi-fi card in, the sound this board outputs is good also, happy with purchase.

Brought this to use the new Ryzen 7 3700x and was worried that I would need an old Ryzen to do a BIOS update. Thankfully they are sending out the new stock with the newest firmware update so I can just drop the new Ryzen 3rd gen CPU's in and get up and running in a matter of minutes.

Carte mère micro-atx. Oui je me suis fais avoir. Ce n'est pas spécifié dans l'annonce.
Cela dit, j'ai gardé cette carte mère et je l'ai installé dans mon pc gamer. Il faut savoir qu'avec une carte graphique gtx carte mère est tellement petite que la carte graphique cache un chipset et deux ports SATA.
Il en reste alors que deux sur les 4. Je n'ai également pas pu mettre ma carte WiFi.
Le Bios est... Comment dire... Simple d'utilisation mais paraît dépassé/vieillot.
Je pense la changer d'ici quelques temps. Elle est trop petite et je ne peux pas mettre de troisième disque dur à cause de la carte graphique.
En raison de sa petitesse, le câblage est difficile.

I used this board for my second Ryzen 5 3600 build and I'm definitely more impressed with this one than my previous MSI Tomahawk B450 Max, which I read everywhere was the best for overclocking.
Well, I have found the Gigabyte is in fact better. To be fair, it would well be a better binned CPU but my 3600 on the Gigabyte generally runs the cores 100MHz higher than on the MSI. Running a CPUz stress test on the MSI, all cores stabilise and run at 3975. On this board, 4075! Also, more of the cores boost higher and several will hit 4200 as opposed to just one - and that's quite rare - on the MSI. Using the standard Auto OC on Ryzen Master will also mean that the core boost on this board will actually hit 4400! Setting the same Auto OC on the MSI results in no difference at all. Wow. To top it all, the max CPU voltage is lower on the Gigabyte than the MSI. For info, I have the latest BIOS installed on both.
So, it's a great performer. Functionality wise, it's also a pretty good board. Two NVME sockets as opposed to the one on the MSI. The RGB lighting is also far superior, if that's your thing. The BIOS is perfectly good too. The only downside for me is the lack of USB-C. The software utilities are hit and miss. SIV (which controls fan speeds) is really good. The RGB control software is just hit and miss.
So, really happy with the board - more so than the more expensive and recommended Tomahawk, It could be the CPU but if I could swap out my Tomahawk for another one of these, I would.

Aorus Elite con chipset B450 eccellente......bios semplice senza tante impostazioni complicate per chi come me non ha necessità di fare overclock super spinti ma gestire cmq al meglio il boost in automatico per un Ryzen 2600x e in tal caso attivare il profilo 1 in xmp per fare riconoscere le ram a 3200MHZ perchè al primo avvio le Gskill Trident Z andavano a 2400Mhz
Dopo una paio di avvi con app center di gigabyte installata chiede l'aggiornamento del bios anch'esso andato subito a buon fine
Quindi che dire io sono molto soddisfatto del prodotto e del chipset B450 molto stabile e sicuro
Mobo consigliata ad occhi chiusi per Ryzen 5 2600 o 2600x in tal caso per chi sceglie o ha acquistato un Ryzen 7 2700 o 2700x è preferibile una mobo con chipset x470 molto più performante ed indicata

the Motherboard arrived earlier than Amazon Tracking...Good design, had a problem with fixing this Mobo to a AVP Case
Due mainly to cramped space at the top of the case and being able to get the screws into the standoffs , mainly due to IO Shield but with some patience and I have fitted the MOBO into the case.. Thats has far has I got to at this moment (First time PC builder )
