Needs improvements in truck routing.
I’ve been driving a semi for over 30 years. I’ve had a few different gps Unitas. Good and bad. Mixed feelings on this Garmin. It has routed me onto truck restricted roads more times than it should. The latest was yesterday. Wanted me to run 35E NB to get to 35 north of the twin cities. To the best of my knowledge trucks are restricted from that route through to St. Paul. Other complaints are on the Up Ahead feature. Lists many restaurants etc. that are not for trucks. Much room for improvement in my opinion.

Love the Garmin 785 LMT-S Truck Navigator
Husband is very happy with his new Garmin 785..due to his semi catching fire he lost EVERYTHING in it we had to replace his Garmin. He loves it! Only goes with Garmin!

Heavier than expected
Much heavier than expected. Functionality as expected. Adding back up camera harder than expected though still fairly easy when looking back

Good luck finding your way.
I wouldn't recommend this product. The base will not support the weight of the unit. The unit will not except a lot of the addresses. Had to use Google maps. And it's help me get lost too many times to say you should buy this product.

Great product for the price.
Love this wallet case. Good material. Plenty of slots for my cards, which I especially love. 12 slots in all including a clear slot for your license. My phone can easily be taken out and replaced. It also comes with a backing for your phone. Great product for the price.

Home run so far
I drive Orr, this has been a better design than the old garmin I had.
It is easy to navigate through the options, and so far, hasn’t sent me somewhere unexpected. I give it 9 stars, just because I’m still Leary on all gps devices.

A great GPS with a poor design.
This is a great GPS, the only thing don't like it about him it's the poor design of its user interface. Rand McNally's GPS has a very nice design compared with Garmin GPS. Another thing, Rand McNally GPS calculate the route pretty much faster than Garmin GPS, the first one is more customizable. They need improve the Smart Link app who has a poor design too.

Very good product.
I am a new semi-truck driver. My trainer had the same device and I enjoyed using it.
Accurate, Good signal, Lots of options and hard casing that makes the device looks more resistant to the daily uses.

It had a camera
This is great. I love the fact that it had an SS card slot. Would recommend to any truck driver. Also the camera is a great thing for truck drivers.

Basic knowledge of a tablet needed
Truck GPS sometimes freezes, ideal for running side by side especially for places I've never been before. Ability to download app to my phone and connect together for updates.

It can block points of view if mounted in good spot
I used the 5" version for a couple of years. Upgrade to the 780 I thoroughly enjoyed andore features than the smaller version. In my business accuracy is very important

Not accurate
Just like all navigation systems this one has mistakes. The offramp is not always there. The weight limits are not correct and wrong turns happen 10% of the time. Use common sense at all times because this system is a mess. Good luck.

Accuracy could be better
Use this product daily for long haul trucking.
GPS accuracy is either very poor or the programmed stickiness to the nearest road is set way to aggressive. Drive into a parking lot or massive facility or on an off ramp and the marker will show you on the main road or closest road. The previous model was accurate enough I could waypoint the building and the specify door I needed to enter for paperwork. See photo for accuracy problem. Actually parked at Heart icon not in the middle of the interstate.
Display brightness is also several menus deep so quickly adjusting brightness is a pain.
