Missing information
Although I update it regularly it doesn’t show so many places and locations. Somehow it doesn’t show all Love’s truck stop. And in Illinois it keeps telling me that a certain bridge can’t hold my truck even though it’s new and can hold more than one truck at the same time

Nice product
From going from a rand mcnally product to a garmin product was a bit of a change otherwise it is a good GPS. The only thing I don't like about it is the information on a trip is limited like ETA and miles to destination city, county, state and along route points of interest truck stops parking areas. Basically comes down to the software is better on rand mcnally but the hardware is better on garmin.
All in all I should have bought the rand mcnally because that was what I was used to using but this is a good truck gps it all depends on your preference

High quality unit that works as advertised
Very nice unit. Nicest screen I’ve ever seen on a gps, crystal clear. Fingerprints easily wipe away. It runs an Android OS, and is really smooth and feature rich. The unit itself is very well constructed. The maps and routing seem to be accurate thus far. I exchanged a Tomtom Trucker for this unit and they are night and day in terms of quality. Keep in mind that this is a big unit, I bought it for my Ford E450 truck. I had to buy a bean bag mount because there was no way to install the unit on my windshield with the supplied mount that wouldn’t be in my field of vision. If you have a smaller truck then buy the unit with the 5” screen. This unit is a big step up from my dezl 770 as well. Garmin got it right this time.

Too many problems, don't recommend
The GPS showed up with nice packaging. Upon unboxing I noticed immediately that the suction cup mount looked refurbished (Shown in photo) with the clip looking like the paint was faded, possibly replaced to repair it. The GPS itself had dirt in the corners, and fading to the black coating around the bezels. The GPS itself didn't even power on, even after time on the charger it just got warm to the touch but showed no indication of charger or any attempt to power on.
The box did not include a usb cable or an SD card as advertised on the box itself.
Returned the item and ordered another one to give them a second chance, will update review to share if I have similar issues or if it was a one time deal.
Update 1: Second one I ordered had everything included as advertised and was not a refurbished product this time (and turned on thankfully).
Update 2: Extremely poor routing and alerting, started return and refund, I would highly recommend people to stay away from this product and not rely on it to get them anywhere if they need to be there in a timely manner.

Very poor instructions
The instructions that came with this device were almost non-existent. Even after check all available information online we were struggling to figure this thing out. Fortunately we have experience with other Garmin devices so we were able to work out some of the device features. There's nothing wrong with the actual device but it shouldn't be that difficult to operate.

Lots of new features
A lot of improvements over the older model, this one has more b/t connectivity features, plus you can read texts on the screen, accurate as any other I suppose but clearly has it over Rand, the supposed top of the line for comm. vehicle GPS units, NOT. Garmin all day every day! Every once in a while you get a WTF? Moment but unless you just started wheeling a truck you figure it out. It barks about weight and height restrictions with plenty of notice, many times the issue is a non issue because the bridge has been rerated to a higher weight limit.

Anyone have major issues with it taking you in the opposite direction you need to go.....and often?
I find that ever since I bought this and thankfully I never ended up going longhaul so it really hasnt been used much but it very often takes me in the opposite direction I want to go so I feel like it was a waste of money and I paid so much for this for it to do this. Im curious if anyone else had issues with this model? I wish I could send it back and possibly get a new one sent to me. How would I see about this?

Good Hardware the software could use some help.
Not bad, it would be a lot better if it would show weigh stations, Kind of frustrating the one thing I could use it doesn't show. Also always double check your navigation with a trucker's Atlas otherwise you could wind up in a bed situation quick these things aren't foolproof by any means.
Seems to be built pretty good having a android operating system is a little different from other versions. Hopefully they get their mapping issue resolved soon as there's a big problem with the truck maps so you're running off of an older version until they figure out or they screwed up updates from apps are turned off at the moment.

Definitely love it
I don’t understand why this device has such bad reviews, but in my opinion it’s a really good gps. I do local deliveries in a small town with confusing roads, this gps has done a good job navigating me through everything. I always have connection thankfully since my phone and iPad lose cellular

Used for long haul trucking canada and usa
Good product and fairly accurate. Only complaint is it didn't have every point of interest, even some major ones. It is very easy to use with very accurate directions though.

Les bonnes routes et DashCam
Des fois il me fait faire des détours pour rien qui n’est pas nécessaire. Il ne me fait pas passer par le chemin le plus court ça arrive souvent qu’il allonge mon trajet, c’est un peu déplaisant.

Piece of crap!
Bought this one to replace an older version that I have. Updated as soon as I removed it from the box. The next day I install it beside my other unit. This is a piece of crap! It can't get you where you want to go. Your better off using google maps on your phone. The dang thing doesn't recognize major US roads much less state routes. Thank god my other unit still works!

Great purchase
Im a truck driver and this unit is easy to use. But it can not find some streets .I have a older German and it will find that same street no problem.

Great unit
I'm a professional driver, and use it for routing, and legal road use. It doesn't always pick the easiest route when a few extra miles would be easier traffic wise. The other features are fantastic. This unit is truly designed for truck drivers.

Fantastic unit
As a Highway Coach driver the flexibility of this unit is just what I needed. I can program all the parameters of my coach and save them. I also have the option of car or straight truck. The dash cam is a real asset with all the hazards on the road, both natural and human. I highly recommend this unit for any professional driver.

Feature rich, intelligently designed.
Pros: This is the 4th Garmin GPS I've own, and it's blows that other ones out of the water.
Cons: It's an android-like based system, so accessing some of it's features while driving, because of the physically smaller points on the screen is difficult but do-able.

Reliable accurate easy to use for RV
Our rv is TALL. This GPS successfully routed us around low crossings. Only thing is it takes you on truck routes through town and we are an RV. Ut is not an option to select rv. I was very confident with the height feature. As for route editing that is very simple. Great feature.

Does the job
This device does a good job. Hasn’t failed to get me “there” yet, although not always by the quickest route. Good at weight, height and Hazmat considerations. I use duction mount on windshield with no problems. Would recommend

Works as great as you would imagine. Beware the 780 LMT-S ad states it has a dashcam and that is not the case

Very nice to have a large screen. Because I'm a truck driver it handy.
I find it complicated to maneuver around.
Having a hard time to make it remember new road.
Does not connect to bleutooth automatically. Have to do it manually.
Sometimes i need to reboot it 2 or 3 times because it shuts down by itself or it freezes up.
Im not pleased with this unit and regret having purchased it.
