It prints fast. It prints good, most of the time, BUT....
....when doing duplexing work it jams too damned often. In a 10-pages job, i.e., 5 pieces of paper, front and back, it only succeeds in printing 2 copies complete out of 6 requested.
When it blows a page, it doesn't 'backtrack' to reprint the fouled up, i.e., jammed, page.
As a result, I pitching scads of wasted paper and ink.
If you do duplex printing DON'T GET THIS POS!
UPDATE: When it runs out of ink, it loses the job. The HP BusinessJet 3000 that this replaced had better memory. When IT ran out of ink, it kept the job in queue, until the job was cancelled or more ink was provided.

I bought this mainly for printing film for screen printing and poster printing. I am extremely surprised of how long the cartridge lasts! Love the wide format capacity.

Still I'm proving all the functionalities, but is a grate printer, I can print all the formats I need, and have a good resolution for printing.

I have had some issues with this printer. I am on my third one. The first one there was hardware problem. The second one had a bad print head. Now this one is working beautifully! The prints are vibrant and spot on! I like having two drawers with multiple paper sizes and the ability to print 13x19! Despite the initial issues, I do recommend it.

I am more than happy with this printer.
It is a bit bulky, but for all the things it does: scan oversize, print oversize, fax and copy, I don't mind the space it takes up.
The print quality is SUPERB. The inks dry fast and it seems quite efficient on ink usage.
I am an artists and the reproductions that this printer makes of my watercolour paintings are great. Just a bit of tweaking with darkness and contrast, depending on the paper used.
Only complaint is that the paper loading drawer is a bit klunky and inconvenient to use as you have to slide the drawer out and lift a tray cover each time to change the paper.
Best feature is the copy straight from scan, and the wireless is great as I use this from all areas of my house when I am on my laptop.
For the price, I highly recommend this Epson printer.

This device is 3 times bigger than I expected. But, so far it is fast and good on ink. BE WARNED IT DOES NOT COME WITH THE REQUIRED USB CABLE !!!

Wow! This is the best personal printer I have ever used. It was easy to set up and get started, was not very heavy so moving it was no problem. I was printing right away and the quality is amazing. With dual trays there's less filling of paper and separate cartridges are always a plus. I printed a sheet on my smaller printer and then decided to print one on the Workforce. The Workforce was done with the sheet before the other printer was halfway thru it's printing of the same sheet. This one is a winner.

This printed is well designed for wide format , easy to use. The price is great
it will take time before i can say it holds up well but i think it will.I am very pleased
and may get another later on.

Великолепно
Love this printer.....Make sure you understand that it's not a wireless network printer (needs to be hooked up to a network hub) but for the price it awesome! It is however HUGE so make sure you have lots of room for it. Also love that each color ink has a separate cartridge. And prints borderless so is great for printing 12 x 12 scrapbooking pages which is what I really bought it for!

Print quality is fair to good on Work Force, Previously I had an Ri900 and quality of photographs was great to excellent Like 9 or 10....on this Work Force like 6 to 8....also difficulty with loading paper....wide format is very arduous to load that paper....
If you're just printing Black ink....excelloent quality....
Love to trade this for something similar to the R1900.....

I like the speed.
I dislike having to insert single sheets into paper tray when I want to print the reverse side of a sheet that can't be done as 2-sided printing.
I think this printer is an ink hog.

Великолепно
This printer serves my needs very well. Main pluses: double sided printing and capability to print 11x 17 items. Ink installation was a little tricky, but works fine now. Both of these things are hard to find in a reasonably priced printer.

The cost versus benefit ratio is very good. I needed speed and wide format and this option is the most fair.
I recommend it as a second printer since for office functions must purchase one with multifunction and wireless connectivity.

Good printer for the money. It works great for single and double sided printing. Make sure when you order it you can use Ethernet networking and not wireless. I thought it was wireless when I bought it. It's easy to set up just make sure you have an Ethernet cable.

I bought this product because I previously owned an Epson Wide Format printer.Two month after buying this one it stopped working, would not print any image. I called Customer Service and after doing some tests, they sent me a replacement machine.
What came , while it works well, was a reconditioned machine. I bought a new one and now I have an old one.
Not Fair.

A decent, low cost ($129) wide format printer. The biggest problem I had was finding the right place for this printer. Because it is not actually a WIFI printer but needs to be connected via either a USB or EtherNet cable, I had to rearrange the area where our so that I could connect it to our WIFI router and still use it easily. The directions were fairly easy to follow, although if you never used ink jet cartridges, you might be confused as to whether or not to pull off plastic strip. The directions DO NOT show the tape or tell you to remove it, but it is printed on the individual cartridges.
Once it was hooked up, I used my MacBook Pro to set up the printer. The first time I had no problems setting up the drivers and selecting it as the default printer. When I tried to connect with our other, newer MacBook, I couldn't find the right drivers for Mac OS X 10.7, although the Epson website claims that it support the latest version of OS X.
The quality of color prints was decent, but not really outstanding. If I want to print out photo quality images, I need to use our actual photo printer. Inconvenient, but workable.
If you need a wide format printer for professional graphics work, be prepared to spend a bit more money for a better printer, but if you are looking for normal, household or K-12 school usage, this printer will do fine.

Bought this to replace an HP wide-format. Love the dual tray option. Have 8.5" x 11" in one tray and 11" x 17" in the other.
Was worried that the printer would not handle card stock, which I use to print custom labels. It picks up 8.5x11 card stock perfectly.
The printer is pretty large, but it has turned out a lot of work in a very short amount of time and everything has worked exactly the way it should.

I like the fact that it will take the Super B paper, 13 x 19 and even has a tray to hold it. It is easy to switch between normal paper and the large format. But no matter what I do, I cannot get rid of the lines through the image. If I really needed perfect photos this would be a complete waste. Mostly I use the prints as reference for drawn imagery, so I just live with the lines.

When my Epson Photo 1280 printer died, I decided to replace it with a newer printer. This printer provides all the functionality of the 1280 but also includes duplexing, dual paper trays, and other additional features. The price of ink is comparable to the cost of ink for the 1280 and wide-format (11-inch-wide) is supported. Also, this printer can be connected directly to a network.

I thought this printer would at least make copies and you can't even make a copy. It only prints, that is is and still makes black marks on whatever I print, especially envelopes. Very sorry I bought it. Don't like that it doesn't have an instruction book either. Maybe it can do much more, but have no way of knowing what it can and cannot do because no instruction booklet. It came with absolutely nothing except the printer. UK

This thing is a beast, but if you need or want a printer that can handle up to 13x19 and don't mind dealing with an inkjet, this is a great printer. I've printed out several proofs for small graphic design projects, shop drawings that I took to a machine shop, and some 13x19 posters for around the home office and house. I've actually printed a lot more than I expected before running out of ink, though it still remains to be seen how gently this thing drinks the ink.
I ought to buy some nicer paper to test it out on, I've mostly used plain paper and some cheap photo stock, but the print quality has been admirable on both.
The only disappointment was the lack of wifi connectivity, but I believe that's an option included in a more expensive model. It does have an ethernet port for connecting to the network, which is probably the preferred way to go if you'll be printing graphic-heavy documents anyway.
The build quality is great, it's all plastic, of course (what isn't?!) but it doesn't suffer from excessive flexing, creaking or general cheapness. It also looks pretty nice, a nice matte black, and not unnecessary "styling" or trim (except for the glossy plastic around the interface buttons, but that's hardly worth noting).
Overall my initial experience with this printer are highly favorable, and I wasn't looking forward to dealing with an inkjet printer. We'll see how well it holds up for a few months and how painful it is to keep it full of ink!

Very hard to get the right drawer. Paper doesn't alway print completely.
Sometimes picture only prints small image. I do have the latest drivers. Would buy a different one next time.
