The printer isn't very good, honestly. The Customer Service is garbage. I currently have ink issues, I have had them since day one. There is constant smearing on what I print. I realigned, re inserted ink, cleaned ink heads, done everything. It continues to use too much ink and smear it everywhere. There are some times where I print only black ink documents and there is colored ink smeared. I really don't understand this. I wouldn't recommend this printer. Although, when it does print clean, it is very nice. But that's only when it prints clean, which doesn't happen often enough. I bought this to start up my business, and this has done nothing but cause headaches. Currently waiting on an email from Epson to hopefully resolve all issues.

this printer is complete crap! I stand by the Epson name but this printer didn't last a week. I replaced it with another Epson but not this model.

I have only printed about 100 sheets. I printed a 60 page doc. on both sides and it worked fine. Can't beat the price ($129). I have an old epson 785Epx which still works, but I wanted a printer that printed on both sides of the paper. I am satisfied with this one, with its speed and the quality of the finished product.
I have a PC and purchased this printer so that I would be able to print on both sides of each page of a given document. Since I only do basic documents (thus far) with this printer, I cannot answer questions related to more technical aspects or capabilities of the WF-7010.

I'm an amateur photographer and scrapbooking Mom - I wanted a printer just for large format prints. The large prints are hard to obtain - maybe one in ten will produce a satisfactory result. Either the paper would jam, or crease (I'm using Epson brand paper ) but mostly the print quality is just poor - stripes, banding, gray tones (and I calibrate my monitor regularly ). Smudging and blots when you try to print borderless. Funnily enough, the best results I got were from non - Epson paper. Drinks ink voraciously.
I know this is an inexpensive printer and maybe it will suit general printing requirements when quality isn't an issue. I just hoped that one without all the bells and whistles would actually do one thing well....

Never could get this to print properly. As suggested, cleaned the print heads several times and they still showed as clogged. Would not automatically go from cassette 1 to cassette 2 when loaded with the same paper. Other Epson models do. Why can't they include a manual with the printer? How much more could this possibly cost? They all seem to do it though. I sent it back.

This is our first Epson inkjet printer/copier, this is replacing an HP printer
(it has been problematic).
It came with 1 of each(4)ink cartridges (replacements run about 17.00-18.00 each if bought separately and you can save more buying the 3 colors in a set that I saw listed) this came with a power cable, the CD-ROM w/drivers and software, but NO USB cable came with it, but that is not uncommon, I have found other stand alone copiers or scanners that did not come with the USB cable either...they are easy
enough to find.
It has a 1 yr.limited warranty. It is ENERGY STAR qualified. It has 2 paper trays so you can have 2 paper sizes ready at all times. Has built in auto-duplex printing. Large 13"x19" format (with max at 13x44")for printing flyers...I will have to try this someday for a birthday flyer, that could be a lot of fun to try.
Interface: Hi-Speed USB 2.0, Wired Ethernet (10 / 100 Mbps)

I agree with their statement that the printed papers are highlighter friendly and dried fast so as to not smudge easily. The sound level was rated at 38 dB, so I looked that level up and this rating is quieter than a typical home which is 50 dB OR a library which is typically 40 dB!
Another thing that is nice to know is that this was built to be recyclable when it comes to the end of its usage. Don't forget to go to [...] for updated drivers as they can't update the CD-ROM once it is in the box and shipped to you =) I know that can be frustrating as there is a lot to look at and choose from but their site seemed pretty user friendly to me.
ALL in all I am pleased with this, as I said our daughters HP printer/copier was old and had real ink issues (leaking) this is now in her bedroom and I expect it will get a good workout with daily usage, we hope to get several years of use out of it.

First of all, this printer is, in a word, large, so make sure you can accommodate its massiveness. Note, however, that it is boxy and that there aren't any trays or flaps sticking out of it, so if you can fit it in a space, you won't have to raise anything up or out to print (but you might want to horizontally extend a print tray so your printed sheets don't go right onto the floor).
Setup was easy but caused a little worry because the printer initially indicated that the brand-new printer cartridges that came with it (black, red, yellow, blue) were either not there or needed to be replaced! The fix for this was simple (albeit unnecessary from a consumer standpoint): turn printer off; turn printer on. After that, everything worked well.
While this printer has the capacity to print on paper up to 13" by 19", don't be deceived into thinking that you can drop 11" X 17" sheets into a paper tray, slide the tray into the unit and have everything look all flush and nice (sort of like the monstrous copier/printer you might see at a corporate office). The trays can handle up to A4 size paper (slightly larger than 8.5" X 11" "letter" size) before the paper length would have to stick out of the trays. While this isn't a big deal for me (since I wouldn't print anything larger than "letter" size at home), it might be a consideration if you print mechanical drawings and don't won't paper jutting out the front of your printer. Just sayin'. Caveat emptor and all that.
With regard to speed, this printer is hands down the fastest I've ever had. Seriously, seemingly prints instantaneously.
Although I have the printer tethered to my computer, there is ethernet capability, where the printer can get plugged into a wireless router so that you can print wirelessly. Note, however, that every computer will have to have the printer drivers installed in order for that to work for all your computers.
All in all, a great printer that might offer more capability than most people are looking for.

Your adverts clearly state that this printer prints up to 13" x 19".
I bought one from you on that understanding.
The MAXIMUM width of paper that will go in either tray is 11" x 12".
It's a good printer, but it doesn't some up to the specificatiions in the advert.
Don't buy this printer expecting it to print 13"x19" because it won't.
The photo in the advert shows a print coming out which is actually larger than the print tray.
I bought one from you on that understanding.

My six year old and I just installed our new Epson printer and I'm definitely no computer genius, so it was easy, to say the least. This thing is quite large, which is to be expected from a printer that can print 13x19" copies, so finding just the perfect place to put it took some rearranging of furniture. The six step set-up process was very easy. We've had a few bad experiences in the past trying to use the installation cd that comes with devices. So, we went straight to the Epson website, downloaded and installed the printer driver with no problems. The printer uses one black and three color ink cartridges. The color ones look about half the size of the black.
The printer only comes with the power cable. You have to provide your own USB cable to connect it to your computer or your own Ethernet cable for networking. Luckily we had a USB cable amongst years of saving cables from other devices.
We've made a few test pages and are extremely pleased. The copies are crisp even on cheaper copy paper. We've found it is much more cost effective to print our photos through an online site and pick them up in store as opposed to buying photo quality paper and ink cartridges on top of ink cartridges.
Many of my crafting friends have different models of the Workforce, so I'm planning on using mine in concert with my craft hobby by printing images on fabric, printable vinyl, and transfer paper. I was able to print on fabric with ease by ironing freezer paper onto the back and printing on the regular settings. If you are planning on using this for a craft where you need to know which side the printer prints on the paper, by default, it prints face down. I needed to know to print on the fabric and just had to figure it out by marking the paper and testing it. You would have to know to print on transfer paper as well. I uploaded a picture of the printer and the printed fabric to show how large it is and how well the fabric turned out. I'm extremely happy with this printer already and can't wait to try everything else I possibly can on it.

Excellent Printer with one drawback...the ink is expensive for the number of copies you get out of it. Print quality is top of the line and the price is unbeatable. We bought it to do 11x17. I wish I had seen this one before we wasted $300 on a Brother machine that printed 11x17, but had horrible print quality (we ended up giving it away). The Epson is also much faster than the other 11x17. After using for a month, we're very happy.

This printer replaced my crappy WF1100, which was enough to almost make me never buy another Epson product again, but boy am I glad I did! Right out of the box this printer is a winner. Needed very little calibration with color management and the 13x19 fine art prints on archival cotton rag paper were sharp and color accurate. They even gave me full ink carts, which was surprising for Epson. It is fast in BW as well when printing plain documents. It is a perfect machine for business as well as fine art printing.

I have had several printers over the years, as I'm sure you have. I can't say that this is the best printer I have seen, or even owned. It is not a laser printer, so I didn't think it was fair to compare it to printers in different classes. I also did not compare it to multi-function printers. Of the several of those I have owned, most were below average scanners and only print standard size paper.
This printer is really designed for a workplace that needs this special functionality. As many people have said, it is big. I knew that when I ordered it, and I knew that it had to be big to handle big paper. That ability alone sets it apart from most printers.
I have to admit, I am not an expert in printers and specifications. I am interested in how well it does what it should do. I found the printer very easy to set up. The paper trays hold 500 sheets, so it doesn't need to be refilled often. It is easily the fastest inkjet printer I have owned, and the duplex works perfectly. I have probably printed 100 pages so far with no jams.
One of my favorite features is the type of ink cartridges it uses. They seem to last a long time and they are much less expensive to purchase. I gave away my Canon PIXMA iP4700 (which was an excellent printer) because it was so expensive to buy the small cartridges. This will not print photos as well as the Cannon, but it is not designed for that.
Bottom Line: This printer will not appeal to everyone, but it was not intended for a broad market. For what it was designed for, printing large double-sided document fast, I think it is an excellent printer.

I use this to print web pages and screen captures in full color on relatively inexpensive (compared to 13x19 anyways) 11x17 paper. The extra width and length make all the difference in the world for marking up designs or to see the bigger picture. The installation was easy, make sure if you are downloading the software to get the full package since the driver's only package doesn't connect over the Ethernet (as least it didn't for me). Speaking of Ethernet, it's a little disappointing that it doesn't have wifi and the the ethernet cable sticks out from the side of the printer decreasing it's clean line appeal a little. But those are still little things and the dual paper ports which allow two different sizes in either bay and a nice quality print more than makes up for it. I don't think I would consider this a photo printer since it only has four inks, but it handles those four inks superbly and most business applications will be well served.
PROS:
+ Nice clean prints
+ Big prints for a reasonable price
+ Dual trays, each can accommodate any of the supported sizes
+ Ethernet makes sharing easy
CONS:
- No WiFi
- Ethernet port is on the side making wire push out, would've been nicer if the port was on the back

This color inkjet printer is for larger size printouts but not necessarily limiting the smaller formats out of the picture. It can handle your 4"x 6" photos as good as a regular size printer. Even with its bigger dimensions, the WF-7010 is light enough to be carried by a single person.
The quality of the print is as good as the other Epson printers I had before, which is excellent in printing pictures. One thing to note is that this printer has two trays, tray no.1 and no. 2, and only tray no. 1 (which is the top tray) accepts different size of papers. It prints double sided (duplex) by itself, no need to flip over the paper manually.
Installation is pretty easy. I did not use the CD as it is easier for me to download it from the Epson website. Not only that, it also more likely that you will get the latest version of the drivers if you download it from the manufacturer's website. For now I am using a direct connection to my PC running 64-bit Windows 7 Professional with a USB cable. You will need to supply your own cable (a USB or Ethernet) as they are not included in the box.
The biggest paper it can print is 13" by 19", somewhat an unconventional size here, but we use 17" x 11" in regular basis. To load bigger papers, you need to take the tray out and pinch a lever to pull and extend the length of the tray. This will make the tray to jut out of the printer, a bit awkward, but that's the wy it is.
My concern with this printer is the ink. Although it uses the extra-capacity T127 (it also accepts the lesser capacity T126), it is the same ink my all-in-one Epson NX-530 uses. For a large format printer that prints up to 13" x 19" paper, this may require an upgrade in capacity.

This printer will NOT do a booklet other than for sizes letter & A4! Buyer beware. I've run into more hassle trying to get this functionality. The HP 7110 wideformat can't do it either.

I got this printer to replace an HP wide format printer that is no longer available. The Epson is far superior to that unit. The dual paper trays is a great feature, since I print a lot of 11x17 but still also print a fair amount of 8-1/2x11. Ink usage is fairly high, but I think it's about the same as any other comparable printer. I also make use of the two-sided printing regularly. The only glitch I have had is that, contrary to the instructions, the software doesn't always recognize which tray to select, so I just get in the habit of manually selecting the paper source. Not a big deal. It's quiet, fast, and the output is very good. Like this printer a lot.

I needed to replace my obsolete HP-4V printer. I print a lot of 11 x 17 drawings, and my new WF-7010 does a good job. It's fast and has a large enough buffer for spooling prints. Added bonus for me is two trays which I keep loaded with 11 x 17 and 8.5 x 11. It also does color printing. It has a separate black ink cartridge so you don't have to throw away a lot of unused color ink when the B&W cartridge runs out.
Printer has two ports - One Ethernet RJ-46 and one USB, so you can use it as a network printer or connect directly to your PC.
I would definitely recommend this printer both for business and personal use.

I chose this printer because of its capability of printing large-size paper and supposedly user-friendly interface. It is everything but that! It took forever to figure out how to use the tiling features. And then after my first job the toner would not print. It was not nearly out of toner. But, after cleaning the print heads it took a tremendous amount of ink. Now everything print smeared, out of alignment, and very slow. I have several printers that I use in my business and this printer is definitely a nightmare.

This is an incredible printer for the price! It was easy to unpack, and set up, just a little heavy/bulky. It has been easy to use. We have a wireless home network for homeschool and a home business.The bigger sized printing was an attractive feature. We have used this printer everything from labels to kids-computer generated art and many other things. It comes ready for two sided printing! No extra purchase required!
