Easy to set up and gives good quality images. Pity Epson cannot provide a printed instruction manual even if they charged a few pounds more.

I bought this to replace my ten year old flat bed scanner. I was not dissapointed. I used it with Windows 7 Home premium 32 bit.
The software was found to be easy for me to use, and scanned pictures in great detail. This was my main reason for purchase. After that I tried to scan an old slide. My last scanner was hopeless in this area, but the Epson V370 was good. Obviously it wont be as good as dedicated slide scanners, however it still does a good job, if not brilliant.

not nearly as quick as Veho Smartfix borrowed from a friend and does'nt do any more than my Epson Stylus SX218 when it comes to copying prints or documents. I bought it hoping that I could copy lantern slides easily and well - not so.

Scans well, scans quickly to email, photo-editing OK, though I have other, better programs which I prefer to use. But it does not seem to scan to cloud, and the copy utility does not work at all. There is nothing in the product description that says it does not work with Mac OS, but I found a small print note on an epson website which says that not all features will be available with Mac OS. We'll keep it, because it is not a bad scanner for the price, but it certainly isn't the all-in-one solution as described.

As header, photos and negs are great using dedicated slide scanner but text docs get a discoloured background instead of white. Minor niggle.

Well we purchased this after finding a boxfull of slides whilst clearing my father-in-laws house. The arcsoft photo software is excellent as it cleaned up these very old slides.
Ok it only takes 4 slides at a time so is a bit laborious but hey for the money it is excellent so very pleased with the item.
It also arrived in double quick time.
So happy all round.

I have found this a good piece of kit, I bought it to transfer slides and it works well, it,s larger than I expected but does the job, easy to install and copy.

After much deliberation, I chose this scanner mainly for transferring slides to the PC and it has been excellent. Definitely recommend.

This is an amazing bit of kit! It is easy to use, and produces very high quality images which can be either printed or burned to CD. I have used it extensively for 35mm slides and colour negatives. Epson only make provision for 35mm, but it is possible to obtain a negative carrier for 120 roll film negatives from a firm called Unicomp.

Excellent scanner, easy to install and works on Windows 7 & 8. Can scan with one button one click auto scan, to a full manual adjustment scan.

Works better than expected Some of the slides that I digitalised were 50 years old and not in the best condition,being pink with age, but the scanner bought them back to their original state.

quality of scanned slides and negatives excellent but only does 4 slides, or one strip of 5/6 negs, at a time so sllightly fiddly and a bit slow.

Only downside is that it does not integrate with graphics program with twain. Have to scan as "bit map" or into a seperate directory.

Although the build is a bit on the flimsy side all facets produce excellent results. Swapping out the white back and putting in the film/slide holder a bit fiddly.

this scanner replaced an old epson scanner that couldn't work with Windows 7. I have yet to get to grips with all the aspects of this new scanner but it's doing a great job so far.
