Sets up easy and works. The range on it is horrible. At 50 feet away there is no signal on my ipod.I was able to connect in my driveway with my old router. I can not even see a bad signal on the front porch.If you are using it in the same room and do not want the whole house to have wifi it would be ok.

Другой отличный роутер от Д-Линк
У меня этот роутер для друга, чтобы заменить свой предыдущий Белкин маршрутизатор, который выглядели как то, что вышел из счастливый мешок если честно, очень дешево и сердито рода устройство, которое было примерно столько энергии в нем, чем от аккумулятора мировые, и было совершенно недостаточно для его устройства с какой-либо целостности или качества. Роутер был в использовании в сочетании с его девственной модем, к которому Белкин делает очень плохую работу по ней. Одна вещь, которую я скажу для D-Link является то, что они имеют отличное качество постройки маршрутизаторов, способных работать все, что вы можете бросить на них. Я сам хоть и не этой конкретной модели, и я могу заверить вас, они работают замечательно, настолько, что они убедили меня на выбор есть компании не Netgear, которые я использовал, чтобы быть большим поклонником несколько лет назад<.бр /><бр />Д-Линк Дир 615-это действительно отличный роутер по отличной цене, он поставляется с быстрой установкой через компакт-диск, хотя на самом деле вы действительно не нужно вообще ставить этот милый маленький ребенок на всех. Это простая процедура установки и занимает все 5 минут. Мои устройства сопряжения, сейчас работает такой же сладкий, как орех, и он доволен и впечатлен Д-Линк Дир 615, он получил качества, где это имеет значение для этой цене, и я очень рекомендую его.

i used the item for less than one year, now it doesn't work.I have to reset it for more than 10 times per day.

Worst router ever. Hands down. First the software isnt compatible with Mac post Tiger OS apparently, second, this router is a pain to set up. I spend almost an hour setting it up. Once this thing was up, my speeds tanked from 35 ms ping, 10-15 megs download, and 3-5 megs upload to 115 ms ping, .45 megs download, and .94 upload. This router is disgraceful and a waste of time and effort. Avoid at all cost, this router is a waste of money.

I was very disappointed with this router. It constantly disconnected my wireless clients and required a reboot to get things going again. The connection would appear to be still connected with high signal quality, but no actual connectivity. I upgraded all firmware releases and these never corrected the issues. These problems occurred even on a PC that was using the same series USB Wireless Adaptor (DWA 130) Forget about streaming any video from anywhere online, it always froze, even on wired connections.I even upgraded to DD-WRT firmware, which seemed to work a bit better, but never completely solved the issues. I ended up buying a low end CISCO Wireless N router for $20 used and it works much better. None of the mentioned problems ever occur.

For a refurbished model this is not bad. I seemed to have a problem with ethernet port number 1 not functioning but the other ports work fine and the wireless function is excellent. There is a minor amount of interference with my radio land line phone when I get close to the router. Overall the router is great especially for the price of $30.00.

The Amazon purchase was easy and I received the router only a couple of days after ordering it. I was excited to install it and enjoy using both computers online again. I followed the install disk and failed. I tried again and it said I needed to reset the router to factory presets. No instructions as to how to do this. Found a button marked reset and pushed it. Tried again and another hour of frustration. Let it sit for two days. In desperation, I read the manual. I could follow the first half of the manual but when they got to the PPPoE and etc, I was lost. Plugged the power into the router and waited for it to stabilize the lights indicating, I think, that it was booted up. I pressed and held the reset button this time until the lights again stabilized into a pattern that didn't change. I unplugged the router and again inserted the install disk. I followed the install instructions and this time I was successful. It was easy and no problems. I guess that as a refurbished unit, it needed to be reset correctly to work. Love it now.

Purchased to replace a netgear FVS-318 and airlink 101 configuration. Unplugged the netgear from the cable modem, plugged in the dlink. Manual configured dlink as I have a business class link with static IP. Wireless didn't work at first but with a little troubleshooting was able to get a link.With a wired connection computer and a wireless laptop side by side began surfing. Immediately noticed that both connections where having DNS link issues to sites. Would show the site not found and when I refreshed the site appeared. Began troubleshooting by turning off QOS. Improved but only marginally. This is when the trouble began.Started with the manual and discovered how poorly written it really was. User manual is an afterthought, poorly written with many explanations being of the type - "this function is offered but we don't recommend using it". So began looking around the management screen only to discover that menus don't always match functions and specific settings are not explained well by the user manual.So decided to call technical support. Bad choice. First call - change the MTU. No effect. Second call - your firmware needs updating - this despite having run the on-board update utility and it stating I had the latest. Downloaded the utility - which required reconnecting my old equipment up so I could get a stable link. Disconnected old equipment, plugged back into dlink updated firmware (this BTW on a Monday, the router was purchased on a Friday, must have lots of updates). Didn't resolve issue. Called tech support (3rd time) tech walked through every step the first tech did. Explained I had done all those items. Asked to repeat them again. Done, no change. Call again (4th time). Tier two tech support this round, same procedure as before. after explaining I had done the tasks twice, tech decided to escalate. Call new number. Now Tier 3, a real tech with real knowledge. First troubleshooting effort - do the exact same steps as the tier 1 rep had suggested. Back to square one. Try again (6th call) - finally some new ideas. Change the beacon interval and the RTS. No real improvement but it was a new idea. Every call required me to completely explain the problem and answer the same series of questions - this despite having and giving a trouble ticket number to each rep (apparently this doesn't have any info associated with it). So my end result - go back to the netgear FVS-318 and airlink 101 combo.While it is nice of dlink to offer tech support and I appreciate a company that does so - it has to be helpful support not just a script which is what appears to be the only method of help from dlink. Also, some usability studies on the management interface and manual would help their cause. The connectivity issue is well known and discussed numerous times online you would think d-link would resolve whatever the problem is or discontinue the product.D-link dir-615 is inexpensive but in this case not worth the money.

I looked up the model at dd-wrt.com, and new that is what I was going to use prior to hitting the purchase button. It flashed very easy, and runs dd-wrt flawlessly. All my N devices connect in a flash, as well as the old wifi G laptop and other items. Nice and stable without the stock firmware, and fast. I am very pleased with this purchase. At $15 for an N 300 router that runs dd-wrt, what's to complain about?

This is an incredible router with the DD-WRT firmware installed. It's fast, fast, fast. I get incredible speeds on p2p. I have a 60 gbit connection BTW, and the router keeps up. It's been running continuously for a year without a single hiccup. That's all I need to say. Oh . . . cons? Only that it doesn't have gigabit ethernet ports.

couldnt be simpler to use and the price is right for basic wireless connection. I havent recieve this one yet. I already own one and purchased this one to give to a family member.

I bought this and it hasn't worked at all. It can not keep an internet link and it passes nothing through to the network. Refurbished they say, but it doesn't work. Will get my money back.

Подключил его к компьютеру и он отлично работает в качестве инженера ПК у меня нет проблемы с установкой роутера.
в обновлении с linkys маршрутизатор, что мы должны были держать повторного загрузке как
пока у нас не было, чтобы перезагрузить маршрутизатор. Кажется, хороший продукт.

Sorry! I never had to write a bad review before, however D-Link Dir-615/RE left a bad taste. Kept dropping signal and then froze up and could not do anything, pushing reset button did nothing. Sent back to Amazon and they refunded my money. I did not want another one and have problems again, it was a Refurbished and I felt like it was not fixedat the start!

I bought this router because I had a good experience with DIR-655. This did not have the same signal strength in my opinion. Did I have a lot of problems with it? NO, it is an OK router.

I used to get get bumped off the internet when more than six of my neighbors logged on or when I had more than five devices hooked up. With my refurbished D-Link DIR-615, I have not been bumped off since.

At first, it had serious problems. The speed was dramatically slowing down as days passed by.Then i did firmware update and the problem fixed.Now it works fine.

Need to reboot once in week otherwise the performance is solid. Downgrading it to 3 stars becaause of the reboot. Had used DIR 615 Brand new which did not had this problem !This new 615 router is certainly value for money

Since setting up this router several months ago, I've had nothing but trouble.The router requires a re-boot at least twice each day. The router cuts off for no apparent reason. The router cuts off when the Internet is not being used; when it's being used minimally; and when it's being used to download. It doesn't matter. It will cut off.The router is properly set up, and I know how to set up a wireless network. Thus, user error cannot be blamed. (Indeed, tonight I replaced the D-Link wither another router. No problems.)I hate this thing, and it's the biggest piece-of-junk electronic device I've ever purchased.Avoid this company and device like the plague.

Don't waste your money. I am forced to reset the router at least once a day. The good thing about this is it only takes 30 seconds, or so, to reboot. I pray for the day when wireless routers are both stable and inexpensive. Until then I guess it's not that much trouble to reset the thing, considering its cheap price. Pay for what you get I suppose.
