Постоянный электрический гул/бип
Блок делает работу. Однако, к сожалению, он издает тихое, но постоянное, высокой тональности, нерегулярные бип/электронное жужжание. Это действительно раздражает. Я был в отъезде по работе, в противном случае я бы вернул его. Будет интересно услышать, если кто-то еще имел эту проблему или знает как решить ее?

I used to own a no-frills Linksys router and never had any of the problems I currently associate with this D-Link. The main issue I have is that it simply drops the internet connection several times a week forcing me to reboot the router. I have checked for a firmware update and there hasn't been one for my particular model since 2008. No help there. The other issue is that any change to the router settings forces a 15 second countdown for changes to take affect (interrupting any current connections). I never had this with my Linksys and frankly don't get the point of it. I'm going to avoid D-Link from now on.

My whole intention for getting this router was to install dd-wrt and it works perfectly! I have it connected to my wrt54g (also running dd-wrt) which is running as a repeater-bridge and it's working flawlessly with no noticeable lag with 3 laptops, 2 smartphones, 2 ipods, 2 xboxes, and 2 rokus all connected at the same time. So if you want a cheap wireless n router to which you can add better functionality (i.e. dd-wrt) I highly recommend this dlink router as an option.

When I set this up I noticed not only an instant improvement on my internet speed but also a great WiFi range! I have a pretty long house and my office is on one side of it. I have not problem getting full coverage in every corner of the house and even in the basement. The dual band makes for fast uploads without those frustrating pauses.

I got this router for work and in the end it turned out I did not really need it but since I had it has not caused me any problems and works great.

I should have known while installing, when the installation manual didn't match the software it was a sign of things to come. After multiple instalations, configurations, and calls to tech support (not helpful) I have an unrliable, slow router. I sit and watch the lights on the router and the internet connection light goes green (connected) and amber (not connected) like the signals on a traffic light (every 30-45 seconds). Watching the router sitting on my desk I attempt to connect to internet I get "failure to connect" messages so I have attempted multiple times in a row and one out of 3 times it will connect and while at the web site it will drop. A VERY unpleasant experience!!!! P.S. the connection was lost while atempting to post this review. This time I will watch for the green light prior to posting. LOL

This is the first and only router I've ever installed. I found the setup very simple and straightforward. I've had the router for over 2 years now and I used to go 2 or more weeks without any problem and then suddenly not being able to connect until I reset it. Lately, I've been having to reset the router 4 to 6 times a day. I have 2 teenagers at home who have smart phones, an iPad, 2 laptops, a Wii and 2 smart tv's that stream Netflix and other content. I suppose we get heavy use out of our router, but it's very irritating to have to go and reset it several times a day. If you plan to get heavy use out of your router you might want to look for something else.

I've never wrote an review here on Amazon, but this product changed my mind, since it is SOOO bad that I feel necessary to stop everyone from buying it. It needs constant reset and the signal is never reliable. My apartment is tiny and I put this thing in the living room. Can't even browse the web at a reasonable speed in the bedroom with the door closed. Don't even think about buying this, or any other product by Dlink. Seriously.

This router was perfect for the 1st month that I had it then it began to act up. I kept getting randomly disconnected from the WiFi and it wasn't connecting again! This happened on my phone and laptop. I had to keep unplugging it and then plug it back in and that was really time consuming and annoying. Then another month later it kept disconnecting like 2 times per day and it was so ***** annoying, even my mom threw this stupid retarded router on the ground. DONT BUY THIS ROUTER! I bought Factory Refurbished Cisco Linksys E2500 for $45 from amazon and it was way faster, better range and it was dual band and it was way better than this crappy d-link router! Never using d-**** routers ever again for the problems it gave me!

Проблема Линкин Богородицы в интернет - но решен!
Купил желать лучшего беспроводной сети, так что я могу использовать мой новый планшет (защитная таб P1000). Попытался установить его, но он отказывался подключаться к интернету. После нескольких попыток в течение нескольких дней становилось очень раздражало, пока я не наткнулся на этот совет в сети:<бр /><бр />"перед следующие этих направлениях, пожалуйста, убедитесь, что все корректно. Сетевой кабель от Сат. кабель подключается модем напрямую к задней части длинк, где он говорит, WAN или интернет. Когда вы уверены, что правильно.. перейти к..<бр /><бр />1. Вытяните шнур питания из села. кабельный модем, убедитесь, что свет уйти и оставить его.<бр /><бр />2. С питание на роутер Dlink, нажмите и удерживайте кнопку сброса на задней панели маршрутизатор Dlink. (Это на спине, как правило красный, вам может понадобиться использовать ручку) держать его в течение примерно десяти секунд. Затем отпустить ее. Теперь отсоедините шнур питания от длинк, убедитесь, что свет гаснет.<БР />3. Власть на сев. кабельный модем. Подождите около минуты.<бр /><бр />4. Мощность на длинк, подождите около минуты.<бр /><бр />перезагрузка всех компьютеров, сканирование для беспроводных и снова."<БР />
это работает! Теперь моя сеть гораздо лучше, и еще не упала. (Как для вкладки Samsung - это гениально)

Лучший маршрутизатор я когда-либо владел
Это компактный, легкий, и работает Шарм. Не было никаких проблем с моим, и я имел этот продукт в ~месяц. Хорошо потраченные деньги в моей книге!

This is my second D-Link router (have had a D-Link N extreme N (I think it's a 655) at home for several years. It's been flawless, great power and coverage and excellent features. Picked up this D-Link (DIR 615) to use for remote control of a digital mixer via ipad (I do live sound and location recording). A previous router gave me intermittent issues with things dropping offline fo no apparent reason (when it would happen the devices would be in the same room, no real distance from the router and no obstructions).The DIR 615 has been as solid and reliable as my 655. Easy, reliable connection and no dropping offline etc... Very fast.Very happy with this.

I bought this for a neighbor who used it for networking and connecting their Wii for Netflix. Out of the box the unit performed well except for connecting to the Wii. The Wii timed out when trying to obtain an IP address from the router. After many attempts to tweek the firmware in the router I eventually upgraded the firmware to the latest version and that seemed to fix the IP address problem. Outside from the address problem and the not so intuitive GUI of the router, it does have a fast through put and performance seems pretty stable. Good value once the firmware is upgraded.

We bought this router when we moved to our new house and we bought it because we thought it was a good deal. We also liked D Link products back in the wired router days. However, this router took us hours to set up. The set up process directed us to the default way, which we tried 5 times and did not work. We then used the manual set up, and still couldn't get it to work. We then had to call customer services - it seemed that the issue was quite common, as the customer service representative was apparently reading a script and directed us through a fairly unintuitive installation process. They could have added the script in the set up manual. The router then worked for a few days without any problem, until one day it decided to disconnect for no apparent reason. We pretty much had to reboot the router 2 - 3 times every night. It was quite annoying. The speed was so-so. We were definitely not getting what we paid our IPS for (we later switched to a different router and the speed more than doubled), but it was enough for internet surfing. The reason we decided to finally return this was because our iPhones didn't connect to wireless via this router, and the customer service asked us to call Apple (we didn't have to because our phones connected via the new router we got).

I would have rated this router at zero stars, but that doesn't appear to be an option. It spontaneously reboots about every 10 or 15 minutes. I turned on debugging in the logfile. From the messages there it appears that dhcpc sends a reset signal to rc which actually resets the router. I consider myself relatively technical (BSEE, MSCS), so I don't think it's me. I run 2 desktops (windows7 and Fedora17), a laptop on windows7, a laptop I dual boot, and a netbook on Fedora17. All worked fine with my old (and might I add, free) dell router. This router just doesn't work. I'm returning it, and will hunt for something better.

I have several D-Link brand devices. This one is in a rental unt. I handed it off tot he tenant and they had it running in under an hour. It was inexpensive and they have been please with the performance.

I bought this because I wanted something simple, and this seemed like that fit the description. When I bought it and started to install it, the wizard told me that it had detected another router and asked if I wanted to replace it. I didn't have a router on it, but said yes just to move the process along.I got to a certain point in installation, and was told that I couldn't finish the job so I'd have to reboot and start over. I did, but nothing was different.So, I moved to the instruction manual, which had different directions than the wizard. That at least got a Wi-Fi signal up and running, even if going through the configuration process was very complicated. Never did figure out how to change the name of the network.A day later, error messages started popping up. The message said the main computer probably would do something terrible if I kept the new addition around. See ya.Off I went to the store, and exchanged it for a Linksys router. The installation couldn't have been smoother or easier to understand. It took about 15 minutes to do everything.Best 10 bucks I've spent in a long time.

I think the D-Link refurbished router was a very good buy and I would always look at these products for a bargin .
