These speakers were purchased for three reasons:1) Price. I am unwilling to pay for than $50 for a pair of computer speakers because I have children who may ruin them. I am sure better speakers can be purchased for additional cost.2) No separate subwoofer. I want just two speakers for stereo that are placed on my computer desk (away from children who like to drop stuff into subwoofers).3) Sound quality.These speakers seem to be fulfilling my expectations, though their longevity remains undetermined. I expect, like most things related to my computer, to get a decade or so of use. I will upgrade to 5 stars if they succeed.The sound quality of these speakers is impressive for their size, and they are just loud enough to get over the sound of my air conditioner and fans. My only criticism is that they are perhaps too bassy, like almost all speakers made today. I believe this is because people consider bass sounds to be some sort of test of speakers so they put everything into making them excessively bassy without focusing on the midrange, etc. The problem was solved by adjusting down the tone knob or by adjusting my computer's equalizer.

I bought these for my work PC to use in a ambiophonic setup(see [...]) with the android Neutron Music Player (I swear this is not spam). I use an ambiophonic setup with my home system and love the results. I cannot turn them up too loud so there are ideal for my work environment. I previously had Bose Companion 2 but I could not use them in an ambiophonic setup because Bose adds too much coloration to their speakers and the TrueSpace processing clashed with the music player's RACE algorithm technology causing too much cancellation in the vocal frequencies and other areas. The amplification is much more natural with these and are better suited for my needs.

These things sound very good - but they are also significantly larger than I expected them to be. That's not a problem, necessarily, just a surprise. They have great clarity, and they are very dynamic. Not bad for a relatively inexpensive speaker.

I have owned these speakers for over 3 years. What made me purchase them in the first place was the price & that during the demo process, they were able to either keep up or outperform other 2.0 systems that were twice their price!The T10's are solidly built. Usually speakers at this price level are light, plastickt & hollow feeling. Not so with the T10's. They are weighty & solid! They are also very attractive & well built. The compact build also make them ideal for those who don't have a lot of room. The controls have a very nice feel & operate smoothly.Now all of this would mean nothing if they didn't sound great!No worries there as the sound belies their price & size. It is perfect? No, but these speakers outperform several other well known brands & it diesn't embarrass itself against Creative's own higher grade speakers. Where the speakers fall short are on ultimate treble extension, midrange clarity & volume. All off these things are completely understandable at this price point & are defintely not deal breakers as the tone control does clear up some of the midrange & treble issues when needed.Still, all in all, they deserve serious consideration for the, "Best Bang for the Buck", title. Their presentation is very musical & their bass extention is certainly amazing for their size. These are great for a dorm room, kid's bedroom, study or even as an alternative fo the inadequate speakers on a small tv.Highly recommended for a budget 2.0 system.

This is an excellent set of speakers for the computer. I had an old Yamaha pair, but the volume control failed after about 10 years. But these Creative sound better than the Yamaha ever did. They fit right in with the same cables that I used with the Yamaha. So all I had to do was plug into the speakrs and the sound was back, great sound, and the volume control works great. For the price, you can't beat these speakers for your computer.

Ordered these to replace a previously thought-to-be great set of speakers and was not disappointed in my choice. It will drive your music out of your office and into your entire house. Sounds like a sound system I used to have back in college.

I don't know much about speakers, but I bought these because my laptop and tv both have terrible sound. These speakers offer very clear sound, as well as a surprisingly good base for how small they are. They do well with my tv and laptop and I have no regrets.

I needed a set of speakers with more amplification than set I had. Reviewingthe specs, these listed twice the amplification of my old system. On receipt, theyproduced accordingly. The sound response is also vastly improved. Highlyrecommended and reasonably priced.

Purchased these to accompany some sound editing software and was somewhat pleased with the sound. Eventually moved them to my daughters computer for her to listen to iPod music with.

If you need some decent bass, and you don't have room for a sub-woofer, these speakers are a nice marriage of desktop speakers with bass, sans sub-woofer, for 2 channel stereo output.

These speakers are great. I have high end Polk and Martin Logan home theater in two other rooms and little picky on sound, and these speakers met my expectation.

I gave it to my niece as a gift so she could use with her laptop at home. I haven't gotten a complaint, so i guess it works fine. I'll update this review if I hear otherwise.

Really nice sound, not too loud. I like the adjustable bass-treble feature.They are a nice looking set, not to big or too light in weight, so don't fall over easily.Very pleased with this purchase.

I was given a pair of these for Christmas last year and loved them so much that I ordered another pair for my TV. I live in a park model so for my small spaces they are just right. Powerful and crisp. They keep me dancing in my livingroom.

I'm really bad at writing these but considering the fact I love loud and clear music I really enjoy these speakers. They also have the earbud port for easy listening at night and that's a big plus too.I recommend them.

My wife and I bought these to use with an MP3 player on our recent trip to the Bahamas. They were not exacly feather-weight in the suitcase, but the sound quality in our room at the resort made lugging them along worth it.

I use these guys outdoors with my VTech internet radio. Quite apart from matching the VTech "piano black" to a "T", these speakers sound wonderful. Maybe not as good as the best out there, (I cross-tested a lot) but such a huge improvement over the ones I had been using that I'm ecstatic for the moment. My suggestion - if you need Bluetooth and a tad better sound, go for the Creative T12 at just under twice the price.

I purchased these to use with my tv, unfortunately they are not combatible. They have great sound through the laptop, and Sansa mp3 player and iPhone. Very nice looking, and sound is good. BTW? The people complaining about the tone knob doing nothing? I get quite a range of tone using the knob.

For the money, these are really nice speakers. No, they won't replace your higher end speakers. But they're only $50. My only quibble is that every now and then, one speaker will go out. The fix is easy enough...fiddle with the volume control until it comes back. But it's really annoying. I have 2 pair, and they both exhibit the same glitch. If not for that flaw, I'd give it 5 stars.
