Having read that the Inspiron 1100 was picky which memory it recognizes, I was a bit nervous to install two CORSAIR Value Select 512 MB PC2100 266MHz 200-pin SODIMM - upgrading from 256 MB. However, the installation was very quick and easy and it works perfectly. What a change from before !

I have owned my Dell Inspiron 1100 almost 7 years and it has resided in the closet most of that time. The new memory woke it up. It was delivered with only 256mb and the increase to 1gb made the difference. Installation was easy and it works with no trouble at all. I now have a useful laptop.

This memory worked great in a Dell Inspiron 1100. I tried some Kingston RAM and the laptop wouldn't recognize it (even after flashing the BIOS).The laptop is much faster now. Before the upgrade the Dell was virtually unusable. It took over 20 minutes just to boot up. I still wouldn't play games on the machine, but it is great for e-mail, internet, and office documents.

Got it from amazon, insert it into my ASRock Mobo, boots right up. No issues found. According to the manual, my Mobo can address 2GB of RAM, I put these RAMs in, the system found 4GB but only can use 3GB, strange but happy. By the way, my BIOS is v2.0, these RAMs won't work with v2.1.

Vista x64 on a Dell XPS 420, went from 4gb to 8gb of this ram. Intalled w/o a hitch and working fine for 2 months. Not a significant improvement in responsivness, but the price with rebate was too good to pass up. It's also fun to say you have 8gb of ram.

This memory gives fair performance, however one of the sticks I received does not fucntion at all - a sign of poor quality testing. Beware of this, unless you are happy to ship returns back and forth until you have a good set.

I bought this memories with other parts to assamble my gaming pc and guess what? Same as the MSI P43 Neo3-FR that I ordered... Dead On Arrival. On of the dimms works ok but the other is totally dead. I had to RMA my MSI mobo as the dimms, and buy from other place an Abit Fatal1ty mobo and OCZ dimms... Now I can play. Check well about this to be safe of the same issues.

I've used Corsair for almost a decade and only had one stick of memory go bad. They replaced it within a week. Simply the best company. Maybe it's not the best price, but it stays cool, works fine, and I trust corsair.

We were very pleased with the product and price. Would recommend to anyone needing this product. There was a bit of confusion on the order itself as it shipped half on one date and half on another. Other than that, the packaging and method of shipment were fine.

Ampli? la memoria RAm de mi PC Duo Core de 1 a 2G con estas Corsair XMS2 y la diferencia se nota inmediatamente, no s?lo por habler doblado la capacidad sino porque sus caracter?sticas ( mejores que las que ten?a antes) permiten una mejor visaulizaci?n de gr?ficos y juegos, a? como tambi?n una r?pida descarga de docuementos y un r?pido trabajo con programas "pesados" como Roxio 2009, Photoshop. etc

When i received these they came in two different versions. dead and fried. I'm sure there fine when they work but after spending a month replacing motherboards and processors find out these guys were the problem and by the time i find out it's too late to take em back. so not super happy.

I initially did not want to get this memory kit because of all the bad reviews. I received them and they were in perfect condition and working completely, so I am satisfied. It was also a good bargain because the mail in rebate will drop the expense to just around twenty dollars.

I installed these in my Intel D975XBX2 board to replace some Kingston HyperX which never worked @ the rated DDR2 800 Mhz. They worked right out of the box and have no complaint so far. They just rock and the price could not be better.

The memory modules are unusual, clad with outer walls to, presumably, perform some beneficial function. I cannot say whether they function, but the memory chips themselves appear to work fine. I do not have the ability to test their performance against others, so I will just say they appear to be as good as any other memory chips I have used.

After shopping around, this seems to be the most affordable RAM per GB. I have purchased 2 of the two packs, and both arrived in good working order. I have been running them for a couple of weeks now, and all are stable. Note: I can't vouch for any overclocked performance, have only been running stock.

It also brings some funny lights over them. At the begging I thought that they were like for telling the capacity o something like that, but it seems that are only for look. Great Performace very fast. So Happy with them.

This is perfectly good ram. It works perfectly. However, it is NOT 5-5-5-12 timing! The actualy timing, as printed on the module, is 5-5-5-18! Be aware of this before you order from this page.

i run win xp with 1 gb of ram i upgraded my system to this amazing ram and i have 3 gb of ram i run all my games on max even FSX on my XFX 9600 gt xxx alpha dog and E6750@2.66 and 2 corsair 1 gb sticks in dual channel and anathor 1 gb (3GB) in total and i can run any game i have on max with decent fpsno problems so far so good i recmmened this ram to any beginner gamer

product realy bad, after 1 month and 15 days the BLUE SCREEN OF DEATH COMES TO MY!!!, and some guys say to me: run memtestx86 and one of my ships are bad 2 errors in the mb644, i most aply waranty, BETTER BUY MEMOS MUSHKINme salieron malas una basura, las use 1 mes y 1 dias y despues la BLUE SCREEN OF DEATH comenso a apareser y resulta que en el memtestx86 me sale que una de mis memorias tiene 2 errores en el mb644, una desepcion que despues de tampoco tiempo fallen y ahora la garantia a ver si me las cambian o que, MEJOR COMPREN MEMORIAS MUSHKIN

When people complain about the compatibiliy of these sticks they do because they lack the proper knowledge or responsibility to check for compatibility with their motherboards.These are 1.8V modules and there's a good chance they won't work on a motherboard that supports 2V+. If you overclock them they won't work either... that would be a minus but not for one who knows they are compatible with every 1.8V board.I for one have a MSI 750i SLI that supports 1.8V and they work fine. They don't run too hot either. If one says they do they must either have bad system ventilation (most of them don't even care to keep a clean cable-free case for a good airflow) or have them overclocked and expect them to run at cool temperatures.Remember, they don't come with a heat sink to help overclocking them, they come with it to help them cope with the heat they generate at normal usage!

nice product working pretty fast, just make sure your motherboard supports it, overclockable, i run it at 1066 2.4v(fairly stable) on my 780 sli board. If you need fast memory and its best if your motherboard is memory overclockable, then you can run those very fast with no problem(Asus p5k) runs extremly stable.

I would be vary wary of this RAM, I bought from Amazon and had 2 bad sticks, bought from Newegg and had 2 bad sticks, finally had 2 good sticks sent to me on the second try from newegg, and ordered again from tiger direct through amazon and had sucess. I would say it is about 50-50 on getting working RAM with these, and when you finally do it will have taken you about a month.

This rating is for PC Universe rather than for the product. I've had Corsair memory in my computer for three years and never had a problem.The RAM I purchased didn't work with my existing RAM because the latencies were slightly different. I didn't know it would be a problem until I installed the memory and the computer didn't boot into Windows. What impressed me most was that PC Universe accepted the memory back from me. It was clearly my fault for the error but they didn't fight me on the return. Computer hardware dealers don't always want their merchandise back but in the case PC Universe came through for me.

I previously had similar Corsair memory kit of 1GB size purchased a year ago. This one out performs the previous one. Vista performance indexes of old and new are 4.8 & 5.6 respectively. Excellent product with superb performance except, can not be over clocked much. 812Mhz was the max I found before the system start hanging or other issues. Motherboard is ASUS P5B Premium Vista Edition.

THE memory was working well (apparently), but at any moment the PC froze and one of the two ceased to function. My Main Board, an XFX Geforce 8200 throw the D5 POST message.
