Added additional memory to my 7 year old Toshiba Satellite Laptop. Went from 512 MB to 1 GB. This does the trick. Installed without any problems. Now documents load a lot faster. Excellent value. Now my old laptop rivels newer machines. Saved me from spending a lot more for a new machine. I am impressed with the Corsair brand. Bought the same brand for my desktop.

Took out my old 512mb RAM....put both of these 1 gb RAM in....and that was it! Up and running perfectly. Highly recommend.

Brought this memory to upgade an old laptop to run win7/32. The memory works as adverstised, can't go wrong when usng Corsair Memory.

Will not work on intel motherboards you are warned so buy kingston if it is an intel motherboard so your sure it will work

Replaced 2 512mb sticks by these to get to 6gb on a vista 32 bits. it took me a long time to decide if it would work, i'd read vista 32 wouldn't recognize over 4gb. but it did, and it makes a world of difference! I have a pretty bad DSL connection, max bandwidth is about 1.3mbs, when I stream movies on Netflix, it used to take over 5 minutes, with at least 2 interruption for buffering in the middle. Now, it takes less than a minute to get to the beginning of the movie, and there aren't any interruption!! it is really amazing! Highly recommended.

Added two 512MB sticks to a Gateway desktop PC. Plugged it in, the new memory was recognized, no problems. Performance improved significantly going from 512MB to 1.5GB, as expected.

The product does not work. It is defective, and I am having problems with PC universe.Not happy. They said they would send me RMA by Jan 14th and still nothing.

This purchased doubled the memory in my two year old computer. Memory is the same as the origional (brand and specs.). Installation was easy and everything worked fine. I am very pleased with the purchase.

I've RMA'd two sets of 1x2GB over two years. RMA process and shipping has been expedient with no questions asked. I tested the RAM itself, though, and it was bad after only 1 year and then the OEM replacement went bad shortly thereafter. Thus, I am slightly suspect of overall quality of Corsair, but feel somehow it's constrained to the XMS2 line. I've never had to RMA any other manufacturer (e.g. Micron).

I am very happy with Amazon service, and the memory. I was having trouble with Blue Screens and it was unknown if it was the memory or corrupt data on HDD so I replaced both. Before I replaced HDD I tried reloading the Operating System and it stopped functioning while I was loading an MS update; Pointing me to the memory as the problem. The new memory is working just fine, and very happy; I was about to go out and spend 1500.00 on a new Laptop. I also got a great HDD (good service and price here through Amazon).

i ordered 2 of TWIN2X4096-6400C5DHX and PC Universe sent me 2 of TWIN2X2048-6400C5DHX and the plastic case is damage when i received it. send me the right item otherwise refund ASAP.

It was super easy to install just push till it clicks instantly upgrades your RAM for great speed. I upgraded mine from 2GB to 4GB my computer zooms. Just remember to push it in till it clicks or your going to run into trouble.

I bought the 2 GB memory to add to the 2 GB already in the Dell Inspiron 530. As promised with 32 bit operating systems, I currently run Windows XP Home Edition, you do not get the full 4 GB of memory to use. My PC indicates I have 3.25 GB available. Since I recently bought, but as yet not installed, Windows 7 Professional 64 Bit version, I'm not in a position to advise if all the memory will work with a 64 bit system. (That will be in a week or so since I have to do a clean install and am deciding whether to uninstall my current C drive and buy a newer, larger drive and keep the old C drive unit as insurance against ...? Or reformat and do the clean install on the original, smaller, current drive.) However, did I notice a difference in speed from 2 GB to 3.25 GB? No, I can't say I did. With 4 GB of memory and a 64 bit OS, I will be at the practical limit when it comes to speed. I'll see then how I end up.The cost of the memory through Amazon was good, below what others were offering. It was shipped quickly and received by me in excellent shape. I have purchased several items, and returned one or two, through Amazon and have found their service and return policy very satisfactory.

I ordered 8 GB's of this DDR2 RAM for a 64bit multimedia PC I was building solely for home entertainment. I have always been either a Corsair Fanboy or an OCZ Fanboy so when I saw this economy ram of Corsair brand for the price Amazon was running it for it made it a no brainer. Timings are tight on the system I installed into and of course Corsair always has no hassle if problems pop up. I have used alot of different RAM manufacturers over the years and I have received a bad stick of RAM from most. Dead sticks do happen unfortunately from time to time, however Corsair has always been fast, polite and accurate any time I've had to send back a dead stick in the past. They are one of the only companies I would ever think about buying an economy stick of ram from.

This made my boring 5 year old laptop like a brand new one. I'm a Computer Science student and this is the biggest speed improvement that I've ever seen when updating a computer's hardware. It certainly made my computer faster and able to open more programs at the same time. It also allows me to not feel guilty setting my graphics memory up to the max setting even though it's shared with the system's RAM. I don't know why I didn't upgrade sooner. I also like this brand and it's one of the top 5 RAM companies out there.

Guauuuu. con estas memorias mi PC vuela super rapido los grandes juegos corren bien y no se calienta, mis amigos quieren unas iguales pero en Venezuela son dificiles de conseguir, no las dejes pasar.

Got it on time instalaltion was without any trouble & works great.Price is very tough to beat, sure if you wait research for "deal" you might find it few bucks cheaper but I don't think you can find it cheaper than this if you want it right away.
