Ordered this memory for a HP refurbished Computer to upgrade it for my needs and it's just what was needed this particular system could only handle 1GB modules per Memory slot so I had to order 2 sets to bring it up to the 4GB Max and these fit the Bill perfectly

This memory brought my old Dell XPS 400 back to life. It's now much more responsive and able to perform multiple complex tasks at the same time. I get to put off that purchase of a new machine a little while longer.

I have a PC with ASUS P5B-VM motherboard. My Win7 was slow but with this memory kit I recovered the power of my overclocked quadcore. Excellent product. Corsair forever.

Much of the memory I purchase is from Corsair. I've never had any problems with their products whether it's the value or high-end memory. This product was fairly priced for quality ram. Installed in a desktop computer with a AMD Sempron running Vista Home Basic the additional memory made a very noticeable difference in performance over the stock 512Mb. Install took just a few moments on this particular computer no tools were needed, depending on the computer you may need a screwdriver. I also recommend using a anti-static wristband or other anti-static tool for the computer's safety. I highly recommend Corsair for any computer.

Fast arrival, easy install, works like a charm...It took about 10 minutes to install the RAM. My computer reconized immediatly. I upgraded from 512mb to 4 gig and wow, what a difference.

Two of the four memory chips I have on my desktop gave out after 8 years and thankfully Corsair stillsells them - about 1/8th of what I paid in 2004. After placing in my computer,turning it on, everythingworked as if I had a new computer. Perfect match.

I had to return the PNY memory as it wouldnt work in my Emachines desktop. This memory did the trick and I now have 2 gb of memory instead of the 1 gig.

The Corsair brand speaks for itself in quality products and longevity. This RAM improved performance significantly in an older HP model Pavilion. Definitely would purchase this RAM again for a future build. Along with the 8GB RAM upgrade, a 60GB SSD, and a 480W PSU (upgraded from the standard 300W that shipped with the box initially), I will be able to get several more years of typical usage out of this machine. Definitely would recommend Corsair products in the future.

The product was installed and works fine. The original install was unsuccessful due to the components not being correctly seated. I had to remove and then re install the dimms.

I put them in the remaining 2 slots of my motherboard, and everything went as smooth as it can. The memory was recognized right away, and I haven't had any issues with Windows 7 x64, Windows XP x86, Ubuntu 11.04 x64, and Gentoo x64. If I'm not terribly mistaken, I paid pretty much the same price for the identical units a few years ago. Too bad the price hasn't come down just like other parts, but I guess that's what happens when nobody manufactures (outdated) DDR2 memory units anymore. Whatever the case is, it's a great buy for older motherboards that need performance boost.

The first downside with this memory is that the speed setting are similar or the same to Corsairs value ram. Actually the only difference I noticed between this and the value ram is the heat clip that covers the memory module.The second and much bigger downside is the failure rate. I am on my third set that I have received back from Corsair after one of the modules failed Memtest. The RMA process is not that bad however my last set failed within a few weeks. Its gotten so bad that I have had to buy backup memory for when this is out on RMA. I recommend using Corsairs Value ram, I've found it to be much more stable.

This is memory, it works like it should and was priced good. Would have like more memory but I wasn't sure if the PC I was putting it in was bad or not. I bought the PC from a Government Auction and it was sold for parts because it didn't work, upon exam I noticed the memory was bad so I bought this and it works fine. I plan on buying better, larger and more expensive RAM but I also plan on keeping this for testing PC's that I get with RAM problems or unknown problems.

I upgraded my computer so I was looking for a decent amount of memory to run Windows Professional 7. Came across Corsair and found the price to be my decision. No complaints, my computer is running great like almost brand new and a bit faster.

I bought these same RAM modules when I first built my computer about 2yrs ago. I upgraded to Windows 7 about 6mos ago, so I needed more RAM. Ordered another 2GB worth and then started getting BSOD and other funky error messages about once a week. Unfortunately, I waited too long and now I can't return them. I'm currently running my computer on only the original 2GB of RAM I had when I built it and I'm no longer encountering errors. I wouldn't recommend these.

I have built many PC's over the years. The PC I am using presently to type this review is over 5 years running on XP with 4GB of Corsair RAM. I have never had any problems with this manufacturer. My recent Motherboard from MSI also listed this RAM as an acceptable Ram module. That at least tells you this is not a nobody manufacturer. Very reliable and has always worked. I have never found any of them to have failed. Recommend this manufacturer.

My Dell Dimension 8400 with 1/2 Gig of RAM was running painfully slow. Added these 2 Gigs and I was amazed at the increase in performance. Followed the Dell user manual for installation, very easy, 20 minutes tops. Very worthwhile upgrade.

After installing the Corsair memory, I noticed only a slight increase in speed when opening web pages. Hence, I would have to question whether it is a worthy investment. My experience has been that increasing the memory on an old computer, rarely makes a signicant difference when opening large programs or graphic-laden websites. I have installed memory from other manufacturers, as well; all with the same disappointing results. I have concluded that buying a new computer is the logical alternative, especially since they are so cheap these days. Virtually all new desktops or laptops will function more efficiently than an old computer supplemented with additional MBs of RAM.

I still use my old Dell Inspiron 1100 laptop. This memory works like a charm for this computer, order two modules, read the manual on how to remove the old ones (manual is online with Dell), plop in the new ones, reboot and presto, you have 1G of memory. Did not upgrade the BIOS, still have the original Windows XP on it (with full updates of course). Recommended.

I also had a Dell Inspiron 1100 that I wanted to upgrade memory on. I had tried Kingston and no matter which side I put it in or what order or just one... it wouldn't work. I was able to put the Corsair in, turn it on, and it worked with out having to do any jumping through hoops. The Inspiron recognized both memory cards right away and worked right off. Now it's running 1 gig. While not good enough for some of my kids games, it works well enough for most internet browsing and a lot of the kids games.

I purchased this memory for my Dell Inspiron because Dell recommended it after some thorough testing. As another reviewer stated this memory will not run without constantly rebooting the PC.I replaced my existing memory with this new memory because my PC was running slow and diagnostics showed my memory did not pass all the tests. After replacing the old memory with the Corsair memory, the PC wouldn't stay up for one minute before crashing and I was receiving Memory Management & Non Page Fault error messages with the blue screens. Curiously, the Corsair memory passed the diagnostic tests. Now that my old memory is back in my PC, I've not had one blue screen.

Excellent set of memory; installed on a Dell XPS400. I only experienced a slight improvement in performance, nothing to wow you, but certainly nothing wrong with it. I was getting frustrated with internet performance, so I thought a memory upgrade would help. What really helped was installing Mozilla Firefox Internet Browser as my default and getting rid of Internet Explorer. Wow!, what a difference in load time of internet browsing, wish someone told me instead of getting lucky.
