Was pretty easy to set up
So I have been using this grill for a month now. Was pretty easy to set up. I love how you can adjust your coal levels for better temperatures for whatever your cooking. Cleaning the grill is pretty easy and the mobility it has is convenient. My only complaint is the bottom tray under the coal rack barley fits and is extremely easy to fall off. Other than that the grill is good. Hope my review helps.

It's a good grill though
OMG this grill came in a MILLION pieces and I had to put it together and I was able to follow the instructions to do so, Thank God! I was almost going to send it back because I was thinking it was partially assembled but absolutely no two pieces were put together. It's a good grill though. It doesn't flare up at all! I love that! I recommend it but just be advised it will be a pain to put together! I did it in 2 days!

Easy to put together
Easy to put together, though the directions were a little vague. Had to take the main box apart twice because I realized I had the sides on incorrectly, after that it was a breeze. I've used it about every other day for 2 months now, and store it in the garage each night, and it's holding up great. I purchased some S hooks from Amazon to hang utensils off of the sides, as it didn't come with any. I love the air ventilation on the charcoal tray, really makes the coals get hot so much faster than a flat tray! The grates are super easy to clean, I love that they are porcelain coated!

Looks great on paper, very cheap in real life.
I saw this grill at Walmart, liked it but didnt get it. When I went in to look at it again they were moving into xmas stuff and the grills were gone. I was happy to find it on amazon so I ordered it!
It took a long time to assemble, i did it in 3 1 hr sessions. After it was all together I was not happy with the fit up of the top to the body. It doesnt close anywhere near straight onto the grilling chamber. The Lid comes down to the left a good 1/2" off center! It wont bend or adjust straight so I am stuck with a brand new grill that looks great on paper but really is just another cheap piece of garbage. I am guessing I will get a year out of it before it rusts out due to the cheap thin steel. Maybe more thanks to the cover I bought separate. I guess for the price, thats not so bad, but I dont really want to make a hobby out of assembling cheap grills. I will give this to my scrap metal buddy so it does not end up in the landfill, when the time comes..

Read this before purchasing!!
The grill itself is fine. We have had not had any issues with it’s functionality. However, the one star rating is strictly due to the assembly. First of all, this does not include all of the pieces you need and it does not tell you that you need them. You will have to have a socket wrench. Additionally, some of the bolts are NOT the correct size - specifically the ones used on the vents. I purchased some more that were the same size as the rest of the bolts and it worked fine. I typically have no issue assembling things - I do it on a regular basis. However, I had a difficult time with this item. The instructions were all over the place. It would give you very vague directions, tell you to put something on that you would later have to remove, and would not tell you the correct items to put on. For example, in one part the instructions tell you to put hinges on. This will come up twice in the instructions. However, there are two different sizes and it does not tell you which ones to use. You will have to figure out which hinges go where. It took me several hours to assemble this alone, over a span of several days. Seriously, just go by one that is assembled. Save yourself the effort, because the amount of time and difficulty that this product’s assembly entails is not worth the money AT ALL.

Great grill & great price!
To assemble the grill was pain in the butt we started at 6:30pm and wasn't done until past 10:30pm and it took 4 people to do it. Especially the inside part was very tricky. But after the grill was out together it worked great and have very tasty cheeseburgers and hot dogs. I gave 4 star because the instructions for assembly could be more descriptive instead of just having pictures. Great addition to our deck! 🍔🌭🍔🌭🍗🍤🍖

Great but the ash tray does not fit
The grill itself is great, large, perfect for a day of bbq and fun. The only problem that is very annoying is that the tray wherr the ashes fall at does not fit the space where it’s supposed to fit properly and keeps in falling. Ashes everywhere. The size is just off, it’s smaller than the area it’s supposed to slide in.
I wish they could send another tray on the correct size but we inly assembled it late when the return time had passed and it’s sooooo complicated and time consuming to assmvle that we couldn’t even bother. So just another tray would be nice.

With hard work, you get what you pay for.
This grill was a B___ to put together! You have to follow the pictogram instructions precisely on your end up taking it apart and putting it back together 6 times. Buy extra screws and nuts the ones that come with the grill strip easily. Not only that there are gaps in the pictures on how to put it together but, by the time you get to you that part you're becoming intuitive about how to get the grill pieced together. It's definitely a two-person job. One of those people should have relatively small hands. However, once you get it together, for the price, it's pretty good.

Great size, great features.
We bought this grill to replace a smaller one and we have used it at least once a week this summer. It's a really ideal size for our deck area. I never realized before how handy it would be to be able to raise and lower the coals. But because different foods cook best at different temperatures we can cook multiple different items over the hot coals and have all of them come out perfect.

once I got it assembled it works great.
Works well but the instructions need to be reworked. Some major omissions in the instructions caused considerable stress while setting this up. Mostly had to do with how the box is assembled and which side is front / back / top / bottom. Not clear at all to me that the box needed to be flipped over halfway through the assembly in order to put the legs on. Of course that could just be me.......but I don't think so :-)

The coal tray frame of the internal lift mechanism came bent and constantly hits the lift striker plate and has caused the assembly to fall on more than one occasion. It is difficult to fix with hot coals in it! Other than that, it works good. I like the ability to raise and lower the coals as desired.

Great price, well designed, sub-par crafting
Would have been 5, but the pilot holes for the hinges were off, and it loses heat really fast. This is because the lid is crooked, and when down there is a significant gap on the right side. I'm hoping some insulating tape fixes the problem.

I like everything about the grill except the ash catch tray
I like everything about the grill except the ash catch tray. The slots for the tray just barely hold it and if you bump the grill the try is likely to fall out.

Great for small families
It’s was a pain to put together but it’s a very nice grill. Only con is the small top rack. It just leans on two thin bars so it falls off very easy.

Parts not labeled
This is a very nice charcoal grill. Assembly is quite a chore. The process was more complicated and took twice the time it should have since the multiple parts were not labeled.

Great value, looks good, cooks great
Way more than what i expected. Good size, fairly simple to assemble, looks good. Only thing is the bottom pan that collects the ashes didnt quite fit. Couple of screws made it fit just fine. if not for that it would be 5 stars. Overall, great deal.

Great grill but was a little beat up
Great grill although it was a pain to put together. I would have been very satisfied with this purchase except several of the pieces were dented. I was able to pop out the dent in the lid but there isn’t much I can do about the grill racks inside or the scuff marks in the legs. Otherwise it’s a sturdy grill.

Un barbecue che non tradisce le aspettative!
Ottimo barbecue il montaggio richiede un minimo di manualità ma i pezzi sono ben identificati così come le viti. Solido e molto funzionale usato diverse volte con ottimi risultati per tutti i tipi di carni molto più funzionale e rilassante rispetto ai barbecue senza copertura ho ritrovato il gusto della griglia con risultati di cottura decisamente superiori !

Charcoal access door came damaged
Delivery was fast and the pricing was good but I was disappointed that the charcoal access door came damaged. I don't think it was a delivery issue because this piece was already broken. It was not worth to return the heavy package and I started putting it together but I'll try to contact Amazon or the manufacturer and try to have a replacement piece for the door.

Worth the money!!!!
We absolutely love this barbecue. It took me about five hours to put it together myself. I did take some breaks and it was not difficult but time consuming. Great find and buy!

Using this grill at least 3 times a week
Having been without a grill for several years, we finally decided to get a new one. We used a Char-Broil gas grill when we were on our houseboat vacation and really liked it. We prefer charcoal so decided to give the Char-Broil charcoal grill a try. We've been using it 3 times a week or more and love it!

Happy griller 100% satisfied!
For those who like charcoal BBQs, this is the right one. The adjustability of the grill height is a must for me. Nice make and finish. Ceramic painted grill is very easy to clean. Set up and assembly instructions are easy for follow and a helper is desirable.

Great grill!
Very easy to put together. Took about a hour or less. They could have labeled everything and it would have been easier but not too terrible of a process. The food was great on it! Very easy to use some wood and smoke it a little. We were very pleased!
