I love my Canon PowerShot. I needed something easy to use. This is very easy, plus it has plenty of options that aren't complicated. The instruction manual is really easy to follow. My only problem was getting into the battery area. I needed to replace the batteries with rechargeable ones, however I had difficulty opening the battery area.

i took the camera on a trip and the pictures came out great. the camera is simple to use since its auto feature figures out the best setting for the pictures. i would highly suggest buying this camera.

This camara exceeds my expectations. I thought it would be a little larger, but I actually like the smaller size better! I enjoy the larger view window than on my previous camera, and of course best of all, the pictures are clear and sharp. Since I have slight hand tremors at my relatively advanced age, the feature that stabilizes the image while I snap the picture does away with the fuzzies.

I have purchased three of these cameras as gifts and have had NO complaints! Simple to use; plenty of features; easy to hold; BOTH 2.5 inch screen AND viewfinder (great for bright days). They produce excellent pictures!

This camera was a gift for my husband. When he opened it he was surprised I could pick out such a good camera. He loves it, especially the zoom and picture area. I would recommend it anyone who wants an easy to use camera.

Great Camera. Good quality photos. Easy to setup and use. I have noticed that it does eat batteries pretty quick. Get ReCharables. My only complaint is that it does take a while when taking your next photo. The first is fast, but every photo after takes about 7-10 seconds in between pictures.

I'm really glad I bought this camera. Did quite a bit of research prior to purchase and for the price, this, so far, has been a good purchase. I am a "point & shoot" type of person - not a "photographer" so it works great for me. Easy to use and small enough to put in my purse or pocket.

I love this Canon Camera. The price was right and it take fantastic pictures. It's very easy to operate. That Image Stabilizer is Great. My pictures come out clear and sharp. I highly recommend it.

Great camera, absolutely uses much less battery than previous models. Understand this is due to Digic III processor. Took over 400 shots with included alkaline batteries. Make sure to get good NiMh batteries as those that discharge quickly will cause a "low battery" indication on the camera. Pictures are sharp. The viewfinder is great - much nicer than using an LCD display.

A great little camera... for easy, high quality point and shoot... this is your beast... I have the smaller PowerShot SD600, but prefer this one... its a little bigger, but that gives you something to grab... hand position tends to yield less shake... also I would recommend this with the AA batteries over the lithium ones... AA's are easy to get pretty much no matter where you are... and out in the wilderness recharging is not an option... you won't be disappointed with this camera!

this is the ideal camera for beginners. Though I would love it even more if it was thinner and sleeker, but the best thing is that
1. great pictures
2. uses aa batteries
3. in the child/pet mode it takes sharp pics so there is no shaky pics - use to have that problem withe nikon.
Its actually better at this that digital slr -from canon.

Already had a camera like this one, and liked it so well that I purchased another for my son. Makes beautiful videos as well as still pictures. Very easy to use. Highly recommend.

This is a Christmas gift for my daughter-in-law and she is very pleased with the camera. The pictures are very sharp and of good quality and the camera has many of the same features that our more expensive camera has without the high price tag. I would recommend it highly.

I purchased this camera as my first digital. I love it! I find it easy to use, it takes great pictures and uploading the pictures is extremely easy! I purchased the rechargeable batteries as well - regular ones don't last long. I also purchased a larger memory card, but other than that I really enjoy this camera! I would highy recommend it! Great camera for the cost!

I got a new Canon A570IS for Christmas and was a dedicated 35mm user. I'm loving the sure shot and all the editing you can do with it. Also, the steady feature and the large viewing window and size and weight. Highly recommend it!!!!

Great Camera. I have a baby on the way and wanted to make sure that that I have a good quality camera and I'm very happy with this camera.
I also bought a Nikon Cool Pix L1 almost 2 years ago ( almost $300.00) and every other picture was blurry...........

Good camera, use eneloop or equivelant AA batteries for best results especially when taking a lot of flash shots. Good skin reproduction of people, colors are flesh-true. This is a camera that allows you to set-up your shots manually, or just 'point and shoot'.

I bought this camera 'cause the one I had wouldn't take nice clear pictures and this camera does---the pictures are nice. The menus are easy to ready and understand. I'm not a techno person, but this camera is great (although some of the buttons are very small).

I like my Canon Powershot A570 a lot. I had a 540 and this is just a little bit better. Also is easier to set the shot so it's in focus.

I am and have been a photograhy fan for many many years. I have used all kinds of cameras, including a pentax manual professional camera which I used for over 20 years. I decided to buy this Canon brand and I am delighted with its easy handling, its color brightness, and sharp images. Like for every product you buy, you have to read the instrtuctions and learn how to operate your camera so you get the best results. I bought one just like it for my daughter last December and I was impressed by the quality of the pictures she sends me so I decided to have my own. I would buy the exact same camera again. Just great. Great price too.

These things are available individually and of equal quality locally, esp. the battery recharger. A Panasonic, higher rated in the reviews, would have served equally. However, they are as advertised and arrived in a very timely manner. I'm criticizing my shopping!!!

The picture quality itself is decent. However, my camera will now only take one picture before indicating that the batteries are low and shutting off. I've only had it since July. I haven't even used it that much. The battery life has always been poor. I replaced them several times on vacation. I was only using the viewfinder to save power. I thought Canon was a good brand, but I won't buy another one.
