Great Scanner
Great sanner bought canon 6230 dn and nbought this scanner. Turned out to be way cheaper than buying a mf laser . also scanner has better resolutina nd speed compared to normal printer

NO ES COMPATIBLE MacOS Mojave
Según la pagina de Canon este modelo no necesita driver en MacOs 10.14 pero instale tal cual su instructivo lo mas que logré fue que mi computadora lo reconociera pero al momento de escanear no respondió hice de todo sin lograr éxito el escáner esta de buenos materiales y liceo y no ocupa gran espacio, pero no me funcionó por lo que leí es un error común en usuarios Apple

Buenas tardes, resulta que apenas esta semana trate de instalar mi equipo.. todo buen durante la instalación y todo, pero al momento de mandar a escanear marca un error el cual no permite realizar el scaneo. Que puedo hacer al respecto, necesito su ayuda de favor.

El producto NO FUNCIONA
El producto no cumple su función que es la escanear. Instalé el sofware, cables, etc. Y al querar escanear me aparece una pantalla donde se lee que el escaner no tiene comunicación con mi computadora porque está desconectado el cable o bien porque el escaner está apagado, esto ultimo es ridiculo ya que el escaner no tiene boton de encendido/apagado u on/off. Aparece ademas un Codigo de error: 2,156,33
Busqué ese error en la pagina de cannon y no existe, ademas en google aparecen muchas personas con este mismo error y no hay manera de escanear y hacer uso del equipo. Muchas personas lo han devuelto asi como yo tambien por ser un equipo NO FUNCIONAL.

you can see from the upload, the scan is on the left and the original is on the right. This thing has horrible color rendering and depth, mid tones are severely lacking, and even the highlights are blown out. Would not recommend this scanner. Would not scan at 4800dpi, or even 1200dpi... the default came up as 300dpi and allowed me to increase it to 600dpi max.

I should have listened to the other review warning me, thought maybe I could figure it out, but no. I don't know about Windows, but on macOS, this thing does. Not. Work. At all. Tried with multiple Macs (made between 2011and 2018), multiple macOS versions (10.2, 10.13, and 10.14), with multiple scanning software (Photoshop, VueScan, and Canon's own IJ Scan Utility downloaded), and multiple cables (included and my own). The scanner is recognized as a connected device...sometimes. But it will not scan or preview at all. No lights, no sounds, no movement of any kind. VueScan sees it and recognizes the model number but I guess it's not officially supported at this time.
I can't imagine Canon tested this with Macs at all and it's annoying they claim Mac compatibility, just a big waste of time. Epson has their own problems but at least their scanners can work with Macs with a little work. Not sure why making a no-fuss scanner is so hard, they've been terrible as long as they've been making them and it never seems to get any better.
