Totally worth your money if you travel often. The fit is nice and tight and your hears don't feel "warm" after using them for a hours. The case is bigger than was originally expected but is quite nice and you will need to a backpack to carry them. They also are no overly "noticeable" and the quality of sound is extremely good, for music is better to use the noise canceling mode on. If you get them you will enjoyed them.

Wow. I have tried, tested but never bought a pair of Bose headphones before. I have experience with ANR aviation headsets from both bose and lightspeed, and of course in that setting they add unbelievable levels of comfort, but I never thought the same would be the case in an office setting. I bought them for travel and flying, to cancel the jet noise when trying to catch some intercontinental sleep, but I love them even more during work days in a chatty office environment. They are just the most comfortable, silent, wonderful pair of headphones I've ever had. Period.

These are nice looking headphones that don't hurt my ears. They are lightweight, yet don't feel or look cheaply made. As soon as I put them on, even before I started the drama I was watching, I noticed how they muted the sounds around me. This is a feature I really appreciate, as I tend to turn music or movies up loud enough to drown out my environment, and this isn't the greatest thing to do for your hearing, long term. While the headphones didn't grant me complete silence, I didn't have to blow my eardrums to ignore the lawn mower right outside the window. The sound quality wasn't blow-me-away perfect, but it wasn't awful either. And it's definitely better with the noise cancelling turned on (which was not a surprise).

My last Bose product was the in-ear headphones which sorrily disappointed me, but these Bose Quiet are absolutely impeccable in what they deliver. First the canceling sound is on point. There is a switch on the ear which goes into noise canceling mode and it sure does. The sound quality detailed and superb. I hear nothing even with no music/and or other sounds playing. The earphones are soft and comfortable around the cranium and ears. There is a AAA battery that comes with the headphones and controls on the cord connected to your iPhone or iPad. I use these with my iPhone 4S and they work perfectly including the controls. I'm very happy to have received these and write a review on a well designed and functional product. Bose did very good with these. Enjoy.

Have used an older model for years with great satisfaction, but the cushioning started to deteriorate and I got this model. I love it. It's a significant improvement--more comfortable, quieter, reception is clearer. All in all a home run. Highly recommend

I used to use qc15 - still good headphones - before, I think qc25 is quite good headphones as well.
- noise canceling : I don't feel it's better than qc15, both are good.
- even though sound isn't well when noise canceling is off, it's fine listening the music outside.
- price is cheaper in South Korea.

As usual, Bose Quality. Do NOT use these while driving! Very dangerous because they are that good. If you are the passenger, enjoy! So why only 4 stars? Price. Come on Bose! Have a REAL sale will ya? This is my second set because I was foolish and left them out.

I've never listened to anything through Bose headphones before but after hearing these I'm thinking "why do we need a home stereo / theater system?"
My wife travels regularly and the noise cancelling feature works perfectly for drowning out the rest of the airplane.

Wow. The sound is unreal. It's incredibly crisp, clear, and perfectly balanced. The noise cancellation is unbeleivable. They've also improved the structural integrity of these headphones from the last model. I especially appreciate the solid metal hinges. Great feature. Improved folding design for stowage and better case. The whole package is amazing. If you're hesitating because of the price, I will say it is a bit steep, but I can also assure you that you're going to get every penny's worth out of these babies.

My girlfriend got me these headphones as a birthday present about a month ago, and I've been using them pretty much everyday since then. They are very comfortable and only after several hours do my ears want to breathe. The detachable corf is a great idea, as this will probably be the first part I break. It's nice to know it could be replaced though. Before I even played music through these headphones, I just put them on and turned on the noise cancelling. The world disappears around you. Thsee headphones have nice, solid lows, I like them better than beats.

First off I customized these on the bose website, although it took a while they are awesome.
They are a good update from my beats. I could not handle the way beats have to much bass and no mids and highs hardly. These headphones take you into a different world, it's as if you are in a room recording a song with the artist. There is no outside noise at all, you will rediscover your music with these headphones. These are totally worth every penny.

I had Bose qc 15 for a year and I just decided to have a new headphone. This update is definitely look much cooler than 15 one and the sound quantity is very nice! It eliminate the background nice of the environment and I enjoy it very much. Honestly I can not tell the difference between this one and the 15 one, but if you are new to bose and want a good quality noise cancelling, this will be a good choice.

These are the best headphones I have ever heard! My daughter was the first to hear them. She said Dad, listen to these. I could not believe what I didn't hear was the noise and the music sound was great! If you travel at all, these are the headphones you need. The QuietComfort headphone feature works as soon as you put them on! I tried dozen's of headphones, these were the one headphones that I would buy right on the second. If you don't believe me, then try these headphones any other head phones. I will bet you will love the Bose headphones. They are pricey at $300, but they are worth it.

After crushing my middle of the road JVC headphones I've had for several years as my seat returned to landing position, I finally upgraded to Bose, conveniently just in time for the qc25 release. 10 minutes into ownership I am head over heels for these babies. Sound and comfort are both substatial upgrades from my JVCs. The two things preventing me from going Bose before have been addressed, no rechargeable battery and they work with or without noise canceling. There is a 2 second silence when you turn noise canceling on or off, but sound quality in a typical environment is superb even without it activated. Drowning out husbamd's baseball game as we speak. Really impressed with these headphones, bought them for the noise cancelling as I have moved to a house near a busy main road and I have excellent hearing, I find the traffic noise annoying, put these on and it really does cut out the traffic noise totally but I can hear someone talk to me, these headphoes give me the break from the traffic noise that I need, I don't use them to listen to music so cannot comment on that but 20 out of 10 for noise cancelling.

Bought these for my son. He already had another decent noise canceling headphones but claimed they were good for engine noise etc. but no good for random noise. He swears by these - wears them for hours at a time without any discomfort and loves them to death especially for their random noise canceling capabilities.

Ok, these headphones do a great job of killing the outside noise! I bought them for plane use so that I could rest and unwind, great for that! Also great as a headset for an IP communicator. The overall tone/sound is good, not great! but I expected as much. If you want great sound, there are others, but the sound is good nevertheless. The silence is golden!

- Not much. One minor negative is the smal hissing sound when noise-cancelling is on and there is quiet around (not much use of the noise cancelling tbh)

Bought and returned 4 pairs. I'm a heavy user and after a couple weeks each one had one of the headphones go out completely. After 4 attempts finally gave up and returned them.

My 1st Bose and my 1st NC headphones. It's nice but I was not wowed by the sound quality.
As for the noise cancellation, that is impressive, only drawback is you can not keep it on while walking, your foot steps will bang straight through your head (bone conduction).

The difference is huge, the sound quality is amazing and you really can't hear the outside world.
They are comfortable to wear, light, fold neatly and come with a nice case. I have tested them out with my iPod.
You can also use them without the noise-cancelling function (which doesn't require the battery), the sound is still great.
Thoroughly recommended, I am now a Bose convert!
