I like it, but I do have one problem: they need to get more apps in their store. They do not have any good apps, and if they do, they cost 3 dollars. Angry birds, Where's my water, and all those good apps are 3 dollars. They do not have most good apps even that you could buy. They barely have any free apps. All the ones that are free are garbage. Complete garbage. But besides apps, it works pretty good. It's pretty fast, and you can go on pretty much any website. I love that you can get Adobe Flash on here, unlike my other tablet. The thing I do mostly on my Nook is watch videos on Youtube. There's no problem I have to say with the internet. Anyway, overall, I like it.

The screen has no glare and it is very clear, the tablet is lightweight and not heavy to hold up when reading.

I was just going to get the nook glolight, but at christmas time, they had a better price for the nook hd. I am so glad I got it. It's wonderful! I read it everyday! I m also retired and have the time!

I love nooks. Kindle fire is OK, but nooks are easy to root and install cyanogen mod foe a full android experience.

I bought this for my daughter was a little skeptical of buying it because it was a used tablet but it was in great condition. I am thinking about getting one for myself. So I was very satisfied with this tablet:)

Good tablet/ereader until..... 1.4.1 upgrade last week. I am returning it and paying a little more for a real tablet and downloading nook app.

The Nook is OK. Unfortunately mine seems to get stuck on a page and the only way to turn the page is to turn it off and back on again which is SUPER annoying. You can also go in and use the slider thingy to turn the page but it is difficult to slide it to the correct page and is ALSO super frustrating. It's weird too because this was a replacement one for one I bought a few years ago and it had the same problem. **THE SELLER IS REFUSING TO LET ME RETURN THE ITEM** Apparently even though it is faulty I am over the return period. Cant be by much as I've only had it for 2 months. I debated with myself for a long time if I wanted to get another Nook or try the Fire but I have so many books I spent good money on and (to my knowledge) you cant read B&N books on the Kindle Fire so I felt trapped into buying the Nook again. I truly wish I had said the heck with it and went with the kindle. =(

The Tablet I received works well, and the price was good, but it isn't the 16gb that was advertised - only 8gb.

Wonderful for children!!! I bought 2. 1 for myself and the other for my 9 yr. old daughter. It's wonderful for children because it isn't an Android! Google is limited to being a search engine only. No games or Google hyjacking whatsoever. The parental controls are simple and I feel more at ease. It's compatable with school programs such a Raz Kids and Xtramath! Totally G rated!!!!

Rooted, and cyanogenmod installed, works awesome. The Nook Tablet has a bit more memory than the original Nook Color, so that's why I got this one.

This tablet is so sleek and thin, yet it has that heavy feeling that I enjoy. The features are pretty cool, and the apps aren't as limited as you'd think. I can check and read my email easily, and I LOVE that feature on my nook!

Bought this item as a donation for a carnival where I work. Kids were putting so many raffle tickets in the bucket it was over flowing. It was definately a sought after prize by all. I'm sure the boy who won is truly enjoying this NOOK!

I thought I purchased a new NOOK as I submitted when I placed the order. The box that the NOOK came in did not have sealed plastic around it also the outside of the box was dirty, not something I expected when it should have been a new NOOK.

After months of going back and forth, reading reviews, comparing specs, I finally settled on the Nook for the simple reason that I wanted to support B&N, particularly after Borders went out of business. I love bookstores and libraries and hate that they are fast becoming obsolete.Well, B&N, in its disregard and disrespect for its customers and short-sightedness AND crew of sub-par designers is certainly hastening its demise! Because they turn a deaf ear to consumers, and have no clue what matters to us, they are cutting their own throats.SOME SPECIFICS:1. Unlike the Kindle, it is virtually impossible to get library books on to the Nook. I've jumped through hoops, bent over backward so far it feels like my spine will break, and spent HOURS, yes, HOURS going through the BS and I STILL can't read a library book on this @#$@#$ device! And, no, I don't want to purchase every single book I want to read! Particularly not at B&N's prices. Amazon's books are far far far far far more reasonably priced. For that matter, so are Sony's. And I love and support libraries, though they, too, are sadly becoming a thing of the past. Its too bad B&N can't be more supportive of them. Kindle is...2. B&N offers a pathetically small number of real gaming apps~all of them overpriced!!! Most of them boring, stupid and outdated. Amazon has virtually an unlimited number of apps, nearly all of the cheaper than Nook and virtually every popular game that exists. Most Android apps can be easily downloaded to the Kindle. Not so with Nook.3. Games that you can purchase from external sources like Popcap cannot be downloaded to Nook, but are easily loaded on to the Kindle.Those are just the few things that infuriate me the most (well, other than the fact that B&N seems to have hired its idiot upper management team from the idiots over at Netflix).Finally, speaking of idiots... I feel like one for choosing to care about a store that doesn't care about me. I should have figured out sooner that I made a mistake and taken the Nook Tablet right back and purchased Amazon's device. Don't YOU be an idiot. The Kindle Fire is the best device. No question about it. B&N has designed this !@#!@# tablet so it won't accept apps other than its own so when it (inevitably) goes out of business, those of us who are STUCK with this soon-to-be obsolete device will end up having to purchase the Kindle anyway. Save yourself the headache and just get the Kindle now!
