I purchased this mostly for use with a credit card reader for a gift shop. It works well for that use. I have played around with other features, but am not using it extensively for other aps. I found web surfing to be difficult navigate using the touch screen due to the small screen (fat fingers).

Even on vacation I read the newspaper. My grandson plays on his favorite apps. It's easy to hook into WIFI anywhere. Love the size.

I was concerned after reading the review, some complained that the product was not new, used. In my case, I brought the ipad mini to apple store,confirmed that it had the warranty. Not bad.

I moved from the iPad 4 to the Mini with retina display cause I was looking for something lighter & more portable. I was worried that it might be to small but took a chance. I am happy I did. While the Mini is smaller it is still of enough size to see full web pages and most everything else I did on the bigger one. The light weight and ability to easily hold in my one hand has been the best part. I just turned my other ipad over to the wife so she got an upgrade too from her ipad 2. Anyway, I'm happy I "downsized"

Great product although it did freeze completely the first day i had it while using the camera. I had reset it then no problems scense then.

Another fine product from Apple. Exactly as advertised. My wife loves it as it was purchased for her. Fits easily in a handbag or purse, yet no loss of functionality! Tempted to get one for myself!!

it is small but powerful. Fun & exciting. I got this for Christmas 2013 but my stepdaughter walked off with it one evening in February & I missed it so bad I made my husband get me another one in April for my birthday. I am looking forward to learning even more about it this time. Hopefully I will even be able to hold onto this one a bit longer.

I know the price is up there, but honestly, everything TRIES to be link the iPad.
you either have it, or you don't. It is exceptional in the speed and reliability of the device. With it's A5 processor, it never lags or has you tapping your fingers waiting for something to finish (other than a sync).
I am an old time computer user (over 30 years).... and never liked the idea of the iPad, but since I have one, I can now not live without it. Might not run like my mac - (Won't run os x applications) but with release of most of the apps I have on my mac, for the IOS device, there is little I can't do on this device. LOVE IT.

Wasn't sure of which new tablet to go with,
this one or the nexus for less the price.
Glad i went with the iPad Mini2
got it used and i have no complaints.

I purchased this for my daughter's birthday and it was pretty much a hit. It stays charged very well and is small enough for my grand daughter to hold it easily and watch Sesame Street to her heart's content!

The iPad delivers excellent quality (thin metal body, good design), excellent screen resotion and very fast response.
I really like the speed and ease of use, was very easy to activate straight out of the box.
A small disadvantage is that with extensive use you have traces from your fingertips on the screen, but they are easily removed with s softcloth.
I can strongly recommend it to people who need full functionality on the move and don't want to carry the bigger iPad air around.

I love the Ipad mini so far. I purchased the Belkin @TV to stream live TV or recorded shows from mmy DVR in NJ to my tablet in MD. It works pefect. The processor of the Ipad mini and the wireless capabilities can handle streaming live video over 2 seperate wifi connections perfectly. Hotel wifi isn't generaly the strongest either. The selection of apps are great of the Ipad. The interface is very responsive as well. I purchased the Khomo keyboard case for the mini, and I am able to type with a physical keyboard and interface with the Ipad min without a problem. It has worked flawlessly for me thus far. I am able to check email and surf the web with ease. The screen is the perfect size and the tablet is lightweight an portable to use anywhere. I highly recommend this product.

I purchased the Ipad Mini for $352.03 @ Apple with Tax and Free Shipping. The inner components of the Ipad Mini are comparable to that of the Ipad 2, A5 processor, 512MB RAM. I purchased this because the traditional Ipads are too bulky, large, and heavy. This one weighs ounces even in a case and works perfect. The screen is large enough to surf the web, write texts and emails, type in word processor, etc. There is an app called CloudOn that allowed me to access my files remotely and edit them with a word software. The Ipad Mini maintains the full functionality of any other Ipad and can download an run any application the Ipad runs. It is convenient that it has the same application base built with reliable apps.
The machine runs smooth. It hasn't really glitched or froze on me in the month I have had it so far. It runs video very smoothly, and is very responsive. It connects to the internet with no problems over a wi-fi connection. I will test out the processor by seeing how well it works with the Belkin @TV. It streams video from my home wi-fi remotely to wherever I am. Once I do that, I will further update my review.

I know this isn't the latest and most expensive iPad but it does the job! I am very money conscience and wanted an iPad for awhile and finally splurged on this one! I am very satisfied. Although the packaging it came in had me really confused due to the iPad box being dusty and the protector screen being really "bubbly" in appearance made me think that I may have boughten a refurbished one? I hope not!
