128gb Here! I had the original iPad mini, which was phenomenal for me because of the portability. I was completely happy with my 64gb tablet and had no real interest in the retina display. So when I heard of another mini coming out, my mind said " Meeh..." UNTIL I saw that the new one would be 128gb. I was sold before it even came out...
I'm an app hound. I want whatever I own mostly available to me. I listen to music while reading from my Kindle app or doing photo editing, so I expect loads and loads of pictures to be stored. It has the Amazon Prime Video app, so I'm not missing out on my year of prime videos. I do yoga, meditate, breathing exercises, play games, create my family tree...you name it. Listen to Amazon cloud player for my purchased music. Download a boatload of movies while going on trips.
Did I get rid of my 64gb original mini? Not on your life. That's the one I take with me when I go out. Loaded with games. I'm one that doesn't feel like managing. I'm happier than a pig in mud. I love you Apple.

Didn't cover on the front as much as I would have liked and it didn't come with a screen cover, but I love the fact that the stand is built in and you don't need an extra piece. It's good for me but I wouldn't buy it for a kid.

I love my iPad. So does the rest of my family. It is just the right size for traveling. I wish I bought the 32GB though for all the movies my son has. Since I purchased the 16GB the night prior to travel we have to choose a couple of movies instead.

This is the best tablet on the market today. It has top notch build quality and a very nice display. I had the fist generation and wasn't happy with the two things this one has over the first generation, Retina display and better CPU the A7 not that the A5 was bad but the much higher CPU is a better choice. Doubles the ram too but only noticeable with web pages. Over all a very good tablet that won't let you down and the build quality is top notch just like any other Apple product over the years. All I have to say it if you are in the market for a tablet the IPad Mini is an excellent choice. Get yours today.

I bought this iPad Mini via Best Buy for my sister. She was nine years old when I bought it and of course she absolutely loves it. For kids the iPad mini is definitely the better choice over the other standard one.

Great! The price is reasonable, not sales tax. Packaging is good. It is just like the previous iPad mini 16 G I bought last time but it has larger storage space.

Beware of third party sellers. I received mine and could tell it had been opened. Upon further review I found scratches on the screen. Someone definitely had this unit before me. Don't get me wrong, I'm not reviewing the product. the Ipad mini is awesome. I wouldn't buy any other tablet. Does everything I need it to and is super fast. Very simple to use. The best display layout out there.
Just be careful of the seller. I would make sure they have a high rating and its an amazon prime item.

It's a beautiful device, but it won't take a charge. When it's plugged in, the charging symbol lights up, but the percentage of charge continues to just drain. So it's a broken item right from the packaging. Now I have to deal with the pain-in-the-neck returns procedure for a 3rd party seller. I think. Still have to work through all that.

I bought this for my wife and she loves it. She's been using our daughter's ipad 3rd generation and she said that this ipad mini is the perfect size for her. It fits in her small purse and is easy to hold with one hand. Someone at her workplace who was considering buying a samsung tablet changed his mind when he saw her ipad mini. I was a little hesitant to order this on amazon because some people's review say that they're getting items that don't seem brand new and looking like they're pre-owned. Well, so far I never had any problems with amazon orders so I based my decision on that. When my wife opened the package, I asked her if it looked brand new and she said that it doesn't get any newer than how it looks. So the other reviews remain hearsay to me.

The iPad mini works perfect for me. I use it for GA flight navigation. It is small enough to find a place to mount it that does not interfere with the other instruments, yet large enough to easily see to navigate. I recently flew a 300 nautical mile trip to, and back to my home airport. Flying at 9500 ft. to and 10500 ft. back, neither the iPad mini nor my aviation app. failed me.

I won't go in detail of the specs, there's plenty out there, so I'll just keep it in simple terms. This will be probably considered biased, being that I have way too many Apple products to count (iMacs, macbooks, mac mini, iphones, ipods, ipads etc..) so if you're not a fan of the truly brilliant company that is Apple, then you probably don't want to read this review.
When I first heard of the mini coming out, I thought it was a joke, like really? Isn't that what the iPod touch is for? But when you go and hold this iPad, you truly see the difference between it's brothers and competition, and realize it is a great product in and of itself. The size of the screen is perfect, big enough to enjoy pictures / video, thin and light enough to toss in a bag on the go. I have the big brother New iPad, or iPad 3 or 4, whatever the heck they call it, and this is definitely a great individual product, and not just a scale down.
I do have an Kindle Fire HD 7" and the iPad Mini is wider and longer, so the screen is a bit bigger. It looks great, feels great in your hands, even though I would recommend a case for it to add some girth, because even though it does feel great naked, it just seems way too easy to drop and slip out of your hands.
What more can I really say? Quick surfing, mail, chatting, pictures, video, magazines, books, this is a great addition to whatever gadget arsenal you have. I have always stood behind Apple products and can't preach enough how great they are, how easily integrated all their products are together and so on. And not the nonsense chaos and confusion that is Android / PC.
If you got an iPad, the iPad mini is still a great addition. If your just getting into the tablet scene, the mini is a great first buy. If you just want something cool, this is for ou.

The order was on time and tablet seems to work well, however, it was quoted as being os 6.0 and when I set it up it came up the first time with 7.1 os. It makes me feel as the tablet has been refurbished and sold as new. Will log a complaint with Amazon so I can have it on record.

Having said that, I've paid thousands of dollars for my Mac products over the years. I was on the verge of splurging on this one too. So the review makes no difference.
A solid 5 star. I went from 1st generation big heavy iPad to this. And I AM LOVING IT.
The weight: Heavier than a Kindle but only slightly so. It's perfect to throw in your purse, to read books, to do email and to watch movies and videos.
Screen: Quality of the screen, the colors, the text, it's high tech, top notch and even over the top gorgeous.
Battery life: So far so good. I've had it for weeks, charged only once, been using it 2-3 hours a day some days a lot less.... it varies.
For reading books, it's great but I tend to read PDF documents here and still read my major books on the Kindle but of course you can switch on your Kindle app and keep reading on the iPad.
Love the size and weight the most. So glad to own this little puppy. >SPLURGE. You live once, you deserve it and no, Apple doesn't pay me a dime to say that but they really should ;)!
PS: The only thing that bugs me is the cable connector. Did Apple really have to change the connector type? Are they really that much of a jerk to screw up a perfectly good system and create so much waste from unusable cables .... for what??? Idiots! The things we must put up with to have our Apple products.

I ordered a used and restored iPad mini and I have to say that as I'm writing this review on that very same ipad I couldn't be more happier. The description said that there might be minor scratches on the product but I could swear I bought this directly from Apple! Thank you for delivering on a great product and an absolutely wonderful Amazon buying experience. I highly recommend ZoeZ. I will be searching their marketplace for many more products in the future!

I bought this product at the apple store the day it was released, and I HIGHLY RECOMMEND buying this product from apple, that is if you want to save money. Otherwise there is no point in buying this product from amazon unless you are one of those people that wants to spend an extra 80 bucks. From the apple store, the 16 gig iPad mini is 330$, while the same product sells for 417$ on amazon.
Simply, this is the product for a person that wants to take a tablet places and needs to slip it in there handbag without a second thought. If you want a more enhanced display and a larger body, buy the iPad with retina display.
This product is definitely better than the iPad 2. It is lighter, faster, has a much better display, streams clearer photos, is much lighter and more portable, although the iPad 2 is a wonderful product. And if you are searching for a tablet for yourself, or a tablet for others, and are considering other brands, please, I could spend five pages of facts that would prove the iPad mini a far more advanced tablet than anything out there. This tablet is so much more smooth, sleek, fast, and has such a better camera, there aren't even words to describe the difference. Yes, the price is heigh, but so worth it. I am 13 and I researched all different types of products and brands and I chose this, and it was a worth while decision. I paid every penney for this product and I do not regret it! This tablet is excellent for social networking. Because of the brilliant I sight camera I can snap a photo of anything, anywhere, and double tap the image, and post. Everything is simplified on such a sleek device.
Now, for the cons, I will say there is one thing: if you were like me, and looked at all the videos and documentation a they show you, almost all the apps, books, movies and music costs money, so all of the special features cost extra. But there is a surprising amount of things under .99 or free.
As for the gigs, unless you will use this for business or for storing lots of information, you will need 32g.16 is perfect

I was buying this for my younger brother since he wanted an iPad but when I got it and started using it I realized that I liked it even better than the iPad 2 which I already owned. I ended up keeping the mini for myself and giving my brother the iPad 2 with the bigger screen since that's what he wanted anyways. I love how it fits in my hand just right and is light compared to the iPad 2.

Good: I use this thing like every day because it's so flat and the battery seems to last forever lol. Ok with heavy use the battery last 3 days for me. the speed is awsome, it has all the latest apps, can play iphone apps too. i would pick this up over a small chromebook or a small 10 inch screen laptop.
bad: other than retina display it wasn't a big difference from the other year model. eh

I love it . Yeah it is great but I don't know why mines when I opened it out of its case I turned it on. and there is a red line across my screen I mean I'm not a big person that complains and everything it's minor . But I love the iPad great results and everything is just perfect.
