I would of give 5 Full Stars only if Setting then Sound has both adjustable Mic Gain Control and live mic monitoring, IT DOESN'T. iPhone 5s and the latest iPads is totally made for on the go portable device. One thing; iPad is the far from doing professional without you'll lugging the CUMBERSOME high-end smaller mixer with headphone monitor jack plus STEREO Microphone or 2 mono for left & right microphone for nice Stereo separation and 5 pounds of battery pack to run bulky equipments for video shooting. "Come along!" This is TWO MEN JOB to hold and run the equipments. The built-in video mic record in mono instead in Stereo. Without mic Gain control, you'll have to be in around 30dB overall sound as the PEAK up around 90dB for it properly pick up very nice sound with video shooting. It's not for nature outdoor sound unless near-by T-Rex is growing. If Apple wanted to win over Samsung Galaxy and Microsoft Surface and other Tablet. Apple can do better. iPad is something like the very high-end version of Chrome Book. iPad does very well in speed and very rich color quality on this screen. Only thing audio does very well from ext. Stereo Mic, is on Garage Band. Now I had discover, my ext. stereo USB mic doesn't work for video shooting. I'm stuck with built in MONO mic or nothing as no audio through any ext mic. So Apple has lost 1 more extra star = to 3 stars. I will find out, if Samsung Galaxy Tablet do 1080p video shooting with ext. stereo mic. -ADDED-ON- I had talked to Apple Senior Advisor for near 2 hours long about software issue through Video Shooting Mode. She had fully understand of my concern as she had FWD. it to top software engineers. It's totally 100% not Amazon fault at all.

It's a apple product so you know it's good but also the hardware storage memory is pretty low for todays age.. 16gb... So if you like downloading a lot of songs, videos, books and photos onto your iPad this model isn't for you. You should go for a 32gb but a 64gb to be really safe.

This was had a bigger screen than I expected. Super easy to set up. The pad guides you right along. I bought so I could do facetime with family in another state; and it worked beautifully on my home Wi Fi. The keyboard is easy to use. Have not tried the app store yet. You have to give your credit card number to sign up, even for free apps. That was not necessary with the android device. Maybe a security thing. Bought a case at BJ's for $10. They have all types.

The one that we received had a loose screen. It ended up cracking and we had to replace the screen. After that it has been WONDERFUL!!! I got it for my husband and he loves it. He uses it as a reader and plays games on it!

Ordered what was supposed to be a new iPad Mini 2, but when we got it, clearly it was an open-box return. No plastic on anything, outside of box was worn and dirty, and it was missing the charging cable and documentation.

It's working great. It arrived in perfect conditions and although I was afraid of getting a "refurbished" version because of comments I received from other people on other products, I decided to buy it as Amazon has always delivered good stuff to me. And it's working perfectly. Now I'm able to read all my digital books and play and do lots of stuff I wanted to do with it. Thank you!

My bride LOVES it! Despite declaring that she never wanted one, she has really enjoyed it and uses it often! I purchased 'last year's' model with the Retina Display but without the 'fingerprint ID' feature due to the extra $50+ cost, otherwise both mini's are exactly alike. I now wish I had purchased a mini or the full size'd IPad instead of the full size Samsung tablet that I purchased a few months ago.

it belonged to someone else when calling apple care they told me that the one year expired last year, but other than that the ipad works good i still have my icloud information , as long as it works im good. im fine. no scratches , i just don't know they warantee you clearly cant use.

So after already owning two iPads in my household, an iPad 1, which I purchased when the iPad was first released and an iPad 2, which belongs to my wife, it was with reluctance that I was looking in a retail store at the new iPad mini. After all, do I really need a third iPad? There was a decent sale at the time and I decided to go for it and I have not regretted the purchase for one minute.
Overall, the features, speed, front and rear camera, etc. are very comparable to its larger counterparts, however it is available in this smaller, more lightweight, compact and easier to carry mini form. I find that taking this with me on a business or personal trip makes the bag much lighter and for equivalent features. Taking photos with this product is much less awkward looking too than when i see people posing for the full size iPads (I still can't bring myself to do this). I would say size wise, it is about 70% of the full size iPad but this has no great impact on the ability to read emails or type any differently than the larger iPad. The full size iPads almost seem too large now that I am accustomed to the compact mini.
I don't want to get into all the features of the iPad overall as I have not noticed any differences between this and my other iPads. I have heard the RAM is less on the mini, but I have not noticed any difference as previously indicated. It is well integrated with other Apple products, which I love about the iPads. I can take a picture with my iphone and instantly it appears in my photostream for viewing on my iPad, iMac or AppleTv screensaver.
Overall, great buy, even with two other iPads, I don't regret this purchase one bit.

Arrived on time, as expected in OEM packaging. I prefer the mini over the bigger sized iPads for reading, watching videos, web browsing, playing games, etc. My younger kids seem to like them better as well. Overall good experience with the seller too.

I bought this for my daughter. She loves this IPad Mini. I wasn't going to purchase the IPad Mini 3 and had planned on purchasing the IPad Mini 2 as the only difference is the addition of the fingerprint scanner in the IPad Mini 3. My daughter likes having this feature. I found this particular item at a very competitive price, so I opted for this version.

The best tablet all around tablet. I've had a couple Android tablets and they were pretty good. The iPad mini w/ retina display is much better. Just found out that I can watch movies from Google Play and Amazon. Well, I knew about Amazon, but not Google Play. I can even download the Google Play movies. That means that I can access all three sources from one device. That's not something that can be done with tablets from Android or Amazon. That alone makes it worth while. The tablet its self is great. It's light and not too big. I think that it's the perfect size. I love the display and you can't beat Apple's build quality.

BOUGHT THE IPAD FOR MY DAUGHTER FOR CHRISTMAS.. SHES ONLY 7 SO OF COURSE I WAS A LITTLE HESITANT..BUT SHE IS IN LOVE WITH HER LIL MINI IPAD... CANT GET IT FROM HER FOR NOT EVEN A MINUTE.. I WILL BE UPGRADING TO THE VERSION THAT ALLOWS USE OF A SIM CARD..

Perfect size for me, great screen and long battery life. What is not to like! The fingerprint scanner is great, just seems weird to have to use scanner and password for free apps from Apple Store. Come on Apple, do you really need two levels of security for FREE apps? I take this thing almost everywhere with me, very pleased.

This is my second iPad mini 2, and I am just as pleased with it as I was with my first one. Fast processor, small enough to not be a burden to carry, and plenty of apps to choose from. The retina display is also quite nice!

When I receive the iPad mini 2 i came on time there is a scratch on screen but not noticeable and not no biggie. And usb cable was a little dirty the seller could have cleaned usb cable up but I have an extra usb cable other than that the iPad mini 2 works great no issues or problems with iPad yet.

Exactly what I ordered and works perfectly. I was worried I was going to get something other than a new iPad mini, or even an iPad in general. But I received a brand new, factory sealed Apple iPad mini.

Brand new, love the touch ID, and the sleekness of the device. Facetime is much clearer than on my iphone5. One thing I dislike about this product is the audio. It does not project nearly half as high as my iphone 5. It beinga newer version of technology since the iphone 5, I assumed the audio would be better. Unfortunately not; maybe it's just a flawed one.

I love this thing. I upgraded from a first generation and this is much faster. I like the fingerprint security feature, not for the security per se, but because it's just fun. I also own an s5 and the fingerprint technology is severely lacking in comparison to the ipad. it arrived on time in perfect condition in a sealed box.

The cable was cheaper, i don't know if somebody opened but when i plunged to my ipad a message said that the cable is not for this device, or something like that, i throw away and i used the original that i had of my ipod touch,
