I am using this Product review option in order to provide positive feedback about the seller of this product. We already left positive seller feedback after receiving the product. The System does not allow us to add to that feedback. This feedback has to do with a product defect that came up months after the purchase of the product (activating the warranty and need for replacement). We ordered two ipads and one of the chargers had a problem. per my message to seller: "Thanks so much for the ease and efficiency of resolving the issue of the defective ipad mini charger. And as you do not stock the chargers separately, your creative solution. In this day and age of business, it is all the more appreciated. I will be sure to note this on the "product review section'" as I already left positive feedback after receiving the ipads. Mahalo (Thank you!)."

I bought this white iPad mini retina from Target and they gave me a $25 target gift card, what a deal for $399.
First of all, this ipad is the perfect size. It's not too big like regular iPad Air and it has very similar performance. You cannot even see the technical difference, unless if you purposely try to benchmark and compare between the two. The graphic quality is a slight improvement from previous ipad mini, but not so noticeable like the new iPad Air. Meh... it's still not really a big deal to me. Apple has been always expensive from the beginning of time, but the quality and apps compatibility is no match against other competitor. So, yeah it's worth it.
Pros:
- Light and thin size.
- A7 core processor. Faster processor compare to previous iPad mini.
- 16 GB hard drive. Big enough to put 3 full length DVD format movies onto it.
- Better camera resolution front and back.
- I love Facetime better than Skype and you can use either one with this iPad mini.
- More cover and bluetooth keyboard now available. Check out Anker products on Amazon or ianker.com
- iMessage can send text, picture and video message to all iOS owner such as another iPad or iPhone.
Cons:
- Costly for 16 GB.
- Screen resolution is not as good as the older brother, iPad Air. Although it is better than previous generation of iPad Mini.

Not sure who's fault it is, but right out of the box it had discoloration in the corner once it lit up, and with the charger it came with or any other in any working outlet it does not charge and I can't set it up, for 5 hours it has just been lighting up with the apple icon and goes off again. If I can't get it to charge at all I will be expecting a full refund or replacement, this is ridiculous. Does absolutely nothing when I plug it into my computer, won't turn on to even tell me it has no battery.

This is NOT a productivity device, it is a consumption device. For those of you thinking you'll be able to get some work done using page, numbers or keynote, think again because those programs are very limited in their capabilities. Anyone who uses those programs and thinks they work great obviously hasn't done any real type of work in office products in their lives. If you are looking for an actual productivity device I would recommend the Microsoft Surface Pro instead. When I was looking at one of those at Best Buy the other day I was completely blown away and the capabilities of the device. It may not have all the apps, but who cares? So what if I can't play all the apps/games on ipad that are just a huge waste of time anyways.
Second, the apple OS is not the easiest system to navigate or to actually move files around. You will need an actual windows based computer for that.
I do admit though, that the screen is pretty clear. That's about all the good that comes out of this device. I plan on putting mine up on ebay tomorrow to hopefully get back some of the money I wasted.

The home button sticks a little, but the overall product good. Paired with a good Blue-Tooth keypad case combo, well worth teh price. Battery life not bad, and charge time acceptable. On -board storage memory adequate, but expansion and cloud storage means I will not have to be too frugal with downloads. Current IOS and SIRI make it able to connect with IPhone 5 models, so as I upgrade phone (sometime) I expect it will be a nice part of my digital device "inventory" My first experience with Apple, so I have no complaints. Wish

So for the last few years i'd been using my mom's first generation ipad - yep an old hand me down. When I got this in the mail I was so excited, and I still love it. The display is beautiful - bright pictures and the couple of pictures I've taken with the camera have turned out okay. :) Only thing I wish is that it had louder speakers, I like to listen to music when I clean house lol. I can't wait to explore more if it and very glad I got this. :)

I would have never known how dependent i would have become, dont onow how i functioned without an ipad for so long. And this item was such a good purchase. It was practically new. Great comunication from the seller. She told me that this item was used as a demo only, so no previous owner but the store to show to potention buyers

Its an awesome Device for college work. Beats bringing my laptop. To bad it doesn't come with the 32G, as 16G gets filled up pretty quick with software and such. The 64 is too expensive, I feel 32G is just right.
Only downside is It doesn't come with Earphones and a cleaning cloth.
Battery Life last a very long time in the beginning, but then you see its retaining power decrease.

Sorry, Apple, but I just don't use it very much. The Internet experience is clunky, as is the email. I use gmail, which has very nice features in terms of slotting incoming mail - most of which I don't want to see. The iPad (true of the iPhone as well) doesn't distinguish. I'm using a Chromebook instead. It's small, light and gives the full Internet experience.

This is an updated review. I have had so many problems with this iPad. I really can't understand when people say that Apple products don't crash. The reality is that they do crash all the f@##ing time, but when they do, they're harder to restart and deal with.
Also, I don't know if this happened to anyone else, but Apple randomly installed some promotional U2 album on my iPad that I do NOT want. I really really do NOT want it in my library. The iPad is only 16 GB, so it's not like I want random crap on it, and I CAN'T delete this stupid album. WTF?
My original review was 3 stars:
The iPad has some weird glitches. You have to *pay* for Apple support. Bleh.

I've used one of these for a couple of years, and simply love it! Bought this one for my granddaughter. I've used mine all over the western hemisphere....it's exactly like taking a full-service computer and putting it into a small, thin case. I doubt it weighs twelve ounces and I can slip it into the leg cargo pocket of my pants. Battery lasts a good six hours even while being used heavily. Simple to operate, definitely recommended.

Buyer Beware! Do not buy from ProElectronics distributors!! I ordered this product as new and found out from Apple that this product only had a month left on the warranty. The only reason I found out was because the WiFi would not work properly so I called Apple technical support. The rep informed me that the product had a previous owner SHAME SHAME SHAME!

Why did I wait to get one of these? The mini does everything the regular iPad does while still being easy to hold and carry around with me. With it's comparatively lower price, I think it is a no-brainer for anyone who has invested in apps off the Apple Store who wants to invest in a tablet. I also have kindle fire HD. I use them both. But the iPad mini is quickly becoming my go to computer instead of my laptop. The kindle just doesn't quite have that going for it in my book.

product showed up initially as described with slow shipping. well I charged it the day of and played with it the next day and then I tried to charge it and nothing happens. it doesn't even recognize the charger. literally one day with it and it broke, for $170 I should think it would be in far better shape. I'm not happy and would not recommend this shop to anyone. I am sincerely disappointed.

I have been an android user and was concerned about the learning curve. While I think androids have some definite advantages and with the speed of moving between apps, forwarding links and stuff like that, this tablet is very easy to learn - easier than the android. Also the screen size is perfect, much more like reading a paperback than on my Nexus slightly narrower screen. Battery life seems good too.

I own many pads 1,2,,3 iPods, apple TV, i mac mini iPhone all models they are all great products.I do use the i pad mini the most.Its a five star item by far. I curse my computer every day. The i pad mini is like so different and a perfect screen size and a i pad never crashes.

I purchased this for my son for Christmas. It is Awesome and the shipping was so fast. Now I want one for my Birthday so its on my Wish List. They use the same I-Pad in his class so he can get on and complete assignments at home, can play games, download music and even stream movies. As he goes to work with me a lot this keeps him busy. The Clarity is Awesome.. Great Purchase

I bought this a week before cyber Monday, the price was right, but after I purchased it I read some reviews that said they received a used ipad. Since this was a Christmas present and I had to wait for it to be opened, I was worried. But thankfully it was a new tablet, it had all its components, wall outlet, cable, booklet and the iPad was wrapped in its usual plastic covering. My son has been enjoying his tablet since yesterday, and it has been working great. The shipping was super fast, arrived in three days.

This little Mini is fun! We have ipods, an ipad, and iphones, but the mini is just such a fun little novelty compared to all of these other products. Yes, it is a little expensive and has a few hang ups. So, if you are looking to get the best deal or the most issue-free tablet, you should probably do some more research and buy something else. But, if you aren't so worried about price and you don't mind a little hiccup or two, in exchange for owning something cool, cute, and unique; then get the Mini.

This is my families 4th iPad, and 8th iOS device. This device replaces my sons iPad one, he has had since he was 3 years old. It was run over by a car, stepped on, jumped on, and thrown. (he has grown out of that) This was purchased as a christmas gift when he was 5 years old. Combined with a Trident Kraken series case, this product seems indestructible.
