Oh my gosh, this thing is amazing! I bought it originally so I could read college textbooks, but I'm using it for everything now. Runs great with iOS 7, plays games/movies without any issues, is wicked fast, and the retina display is gorgeous.Pros:Retina displayPlays games/movies flawlessly.Wicked fastCons:Capacity, I can't store many HD movies on here - wish I saved a little longer and bought the 64gb version.

I've been an Apple user since 1st gen iphone. The touch screen and responsiveness on apple products is unbeatable. This iPad is wonderful and I won't even give a second glance at an android device until their screen responsiveness is improved. I have one for myself and I bought one for a friend for christmas. Highly recommended.

User friendly, easy to learn. I bought this when my very old PC desktop started having serious issues. It is now my only computer. No complaints-highly recommend.

The ipad is great and top of the line when it comes to tablets. However, it lacks instructions. Even if you are good at electronics, there are a lot of things you miss out on and the new IOS7 also creates a few new discoveries. I got videos for free from my friend that really helped. They are pricey, so I would ask people first, but if you want more from the Ipad I would check out the videos. An updated version of the iPad. 4th. Generation. Works well like all earlier versions. User friendly. Love it! Get yours now. They are being discounted now. Were more costly during Xmas holidays.

The 4th generation iPad is an iPad - that's enough to get the point across, right? We all know the iPad is the touch screen equivalent of the gold medal - others have come & gone, but it's still what every other tablet is compared to. Regarding this model, the only major difference between the 4th generation & the 3rd is a more powerful processor, but the amazing Retina screen remains the same - & as someone with a 2013 Macbook Air too which doesn't have a Retina display, the Retina screen is quite a difference. I use my MA more for computing, while the iPad (to me) is more of an entertainment device - & its screen is definitely perfect for it. Pixelation is all but a thing of the past with this baby! Overall, I use this for Netflix & YouTube (& occasionally checking email, Facebook, etc.), but really, for a tablet & everything that goes with that, the iPad is everything you could ask for.

We have a fleet of devices, tablets included. The kids need the iPad for school. My husband bought me the new iPad 4, 4th generation with the fastest chip. We have the other brands of tablets in our home too for all of the kids as well as for the 3 of us, my elderly aunt included, so you can choose almost any brand of tablet or device to use. The iPad 4, the only one that is the 4th generation is in constant demand over all of the others, iPads except for the iPad mini, the others, Samsung is the least popular, the Nexus they will use and there is another brand I won't name. LOLThe iPad 4 is so fast, remarkably so, the Retina Display is simply picture perfect, the colors do not overwhelm like other brands to with their overly saturated colors. The wifi has the best connection I've had on a mobile device. The App Store makes it even nicer with the wealth of full sized tablet Apps, not stretched out phone apps, along with the ability to watch your movies, listen to your music and use 3rd party apps to access all of your Amazon content. It has Netflix, the Kindle App, Video App from Amazon, so much. I can't find anything to complain about and I don't have anything that I can't find on here to use for fun or for work.It's an A++++++choice for us and the best out there at this time I feelOh Itunes U is a phenomenal addition to any iPad

I bought this one to save money over the iPad air. It allowed me to update the operating system for free once I synced it up to my computer, so it's just as good as the newer version.

Love my iPad, however this need it has to just randomly close out of apps is rather annoying. Other than that the 4th generation was a great cheaper buy for me through Amazon, rather than buying the Air with just not enough differences!

The 'scratches' mentioned in the description were cracks but works great. The price reflected the condition but the truth would've been less of a surprise.

Bought to replace my daughters older 1st Generation iPad as certain features could not be updated. She loves this new one with it's new features and a camera. She goes nowhere without it.
