I have several users that I purchased the new iPad for, and they absolutely love them. The devices were easy to order and they were delivered on time. I got them up and running in a very short time!!!

Overall, very pleased to own the item. Drawbacks: a little heavier than I was expecting. The battery takes a long time to recharge.Hence, 4 stars.

Retina screen. Crisp display of images.Magnificent design. More apps that one can use in a lifetime. Worth every penny.Perfect for mail, video watching, photo viewing, music.Alternative to text books comic books and novels. this one rocks.

This product was everything we'd though it would be and more. I'm not a huge Apple geek like some so I couldn't really tell you the difference between this version of iPad and the prior versions, but the screen is clear and it processes quickly. It was a good purchase.

Pros:- brilliant screen- exceptional battery life (double the capacity of the 1st Gen Xoom tablet)- flawless software interoperability with over 60 installed apps from the marketplace- seamless integration with iTunes- ease of navigation- better office application support as a BYOD itemCons:- lack of root directory access(former Android user)- higher price

For the price I wanted more than a 10" Iphone.....there is no USB support, no file swapping, and you cannot hook anything else up to it unless Apple deems it ok via Itunes.....what a useless product. If you have an Iphone 1/2/3/4/4s/5/5s, Ipod, Ipad 1/2/3/4/5/6/7/nano you have already have an Ipad. The boring limited IOS is the same across all systems adding zero new functionality. I was going to buy one of these until I looked at the Iphone I used to use (until I scrapped it for a Nokia Lumia 800) next to one of these IPAD's, laughed out loud and waited for the Microsoft Surface tablet/PC which is actually a fully functional tablet/laptop hybrid PC that doesn't need Itunes and a seperate PC to do simple tasks or transfer anything. What a joke this is and I bet the same people who bought this will run out and buy an Ipad mini then the Ipad nano (4") Ipad Rofl.

Received it in about 48 hours after ordering. I has almost no scratches or blemishes on it, and the 1 scratch I did find on it is not even big enough to hardly notice unless you really look for it.

Purchased this for adult son for his birthday. He loves it! Was a bit expensive, but nothing else on the market compares as well. Overall, would recommend this if you are very picky, but could purchase lesser expensive models such as IPad 2, that will do almost as much and save a few dollars.

I will never, ever use an iPhone. Android has got me with their million customizations and options when it comes to mobile phones. However, when it comes to tablets, they still have a long way to go.The iPad simply is designed to teach anyone who picks it up should be able to figure out how to use it. That is great for most of the population, and for me most days. Having a program (iTunes) that allows for being able to connect to the computer can also make a big difference when you want to quickly add movies/tv shows/ Outlook data.The closed eco system that is Apple can be annoying, especially when I can customize my phone far more then my tablet, but until Android begins to unify a bit more in their tablets, I will stay with the iPad.

My first Mac purchase was this IPad and so far it's been great. No problems with setup but am still learing all the ins and outs. Haven't explored all the possibilities of it yet but soon.

I wasn't sure how much I'd like the iPad 3rd Generation as I am a devout Android phone user. Having said that I also own and use a MacBook Pro and iMac daily. Love how easy it is to use any app I load on this. Performance has been flawless and I don't regret not getting one that uses a phone carrier for data. If I don't have Wi-Fi available where I'm at, I simply fire up a Wi-Fi hotspot on my Samsung Galaxy S III and I'm good to go.Consider some type of flip case an essential accessory!

I should have bought a pad along time ago. I have no regrets whatever. The only problem is it might make me lazy. Instead of going to the computer desk, I now read my daily newspapers in bed, with larger fonts. Excellent purchase. I loved the 4pics1word game. I did all. I can go on and on with praises. Thank you Apple.

I bought this as a birthday gift for my wife and she absolutely loves it, so I shall not complain. Takes great photos in the daytime, easy to carry around, lots of Apps available, connects quickly to WIFI, looks cool etc. For all these reasons and more I give it a five star rating.
