The fact is that I bought this on amazon as a gift to my wife as a bday gift. I ordered it on Monday night, it arrived on Thurs afternoon. Slightly slower than what I expected (I am amazon prime, so I have 2 day delivery free). But that is ok.The product was delivered in sealed condition with "original" package ---- at least I could not find any sign of previous usage or anything. Everything so far is so good.Then we started to initialize this Ipad. It gave me black screen for a short time, which I thought it was just normal --- probably it was loading something. And after that, it seemed to be normal all the way to the end of the setup phase. The next thing we do is to download google Chrome on it. It briefly showed a "shaky" "blurred" screen for a second or so. And then back to normal.Then we started to explore its functionality like taking pictures etc. The frequency of "shaky" screen by now increases. Then we tried to download some free games. After we downloaded the first free game (I do not remember which, our purpose was just testing) app, it went black. This time for 15 minutes or so. This time, I do not think it is normal any more.But after that, we were able to restart it. Just to find that it is now a norm of showing shaky screens all the time. And then we were browsing to find apple support using it. It is then the whole thing died. It won't come back any more. So we had to send it back.I do not know who I should blame the problem to, or just unlucky to hit this one.

I'm sure the Ipad would have been great; however, the seller has no quality control measures because the Ipad I received was still locked with another icloud account. When certain idevices with IOS 7 are locked out by another account it is nearly impossible to by passby it. Credentials: IT Specialist/Ethical Hacker

No issues..easy to use. My wife wants one.it is heavier than her kindle. Need this for work as it is the only OS we can use for my job.

The battery does not keep charge for long and there is a striking sound coming from the speaker within 3 months of purchase.

Got this for a customer, and she absolutely loves it. I am not a huge fan of Ipad, based on the ROI, I think there are better alternatives, however, in my case I have a customer that is Ipad specific in the app that they use, and this fit the bill perfectly. The price was great. Customer is happy, therefore I am happy too.

OK so I layed down 950 bucks for top of the line ATT 64GB ipad-3rd-gen, based on how great my ipad2 was.13 months later (12 month warranty) Apple genius bar says the motherboard failed, and it will be 300 dollars for a replacement of the same one (not the latest) Oh and by the way that 300 bucks comes with a 90 day warranty. Tried to complain about the policy, but I didn't by the warranty, and they asked me at purchase time if I wanted it.So why didnt I buy the 100 dollar warranty and just give them well over 1000 bucks? ....because IMO a 900 dollar tablet should be able to last more than 13 months, like my previous ipad2 top-of-the-line which is still ticking....... and if it breaks you would figure the costs are down enough and that Apple made enough money off the consumer to do better than give them old technology for 300 dollars and 90 day warranty.A company making more money than most countries only makes this kind of money and profits off hard working customers. Im done feeding them the cash.I'll get it fixed black market and buy used or broken and repair them.Just so you know, before you lay down the big bucks, I now suggest you give them even more of your money and get the warranty. They need more cash on hand at apple, way more than you need it for bills.

Excellent, practically looks brand new. Haven't had any problems with it so far. No scratches on the screen or on the back of the IPad. Love it.

OK - when it works it's wonderful. However, it sometimes just freezes up. Fine, I can live with that. But, after ios7 update it now freezes (needing reboot) every 5 minutes. Literally. I went to apple's site and 4 months later I have to pay for a chat on the phone? Are you kidding me! So, they are apparently getting WAY greedy so this may be the last bite from the apple for me. This is total BS. My no-name (quality) cables aren't "Apple" so it now tells you it may not work. Wonder if that has anything to do with it? Seems it may. So, buy a $5 cable for $20 is the point? Not sure.update - went to the local I-store and they were helpful and restored to factory. I SHOULD have had the ability to do that myself. Goofy it doesn't have a reset button.

I don't have alot of technical saavy,and did not know really how much I would use the iPad, At this point ( approx 10 months) If it was lost ,stolen or broke, I would immediatly buy another one in a heartbeat!

I love it! It's very thin and lightweight so I can easily slip it into my bag to bring it everywhere. I thought once I had the iPhone and iPod, I really wouldn't need the iPad, but boy was I wrong. It can easily be addictive. I take it with me everywhere to check my email, write reminders, play games, show (fantastic) photos, swipe credit cards, watch YouTube, write notes & texts, read books; it even runs SmartNotebook software (my teaching tool). It's easy to bring along, fits almost anywhere and like I said before, I love it!

Significant speed increase over iPad 2. Significant resolution improvement. Has excellent build feel and old cases work perfectly on it :-)

I had been meaning to upgrade my iPad to 128GB for some time, but the prices were too high. I found the best price on Amazon and received the item well before the EDD ( est. del. date). My overall experience was exactly what I've come to expect from Amazon, Superb! Thanks for the experience, Paulette.

Got this for my daughter, and she lugs it around everywhere she goes, and likes to buy cute cases and dust plugs for it. It seems a little mystifying to operate to me, compared to the Kindle Fire, which I use, but she does love it.

The Ipad works fine but my dear wife uses it all of the time to play games and chat with friends via Skype. If you don't want to feel neglected, don't buy your wife an Ipad as a present!

Love it! Have wanted one for a while so I waited for the "honeymoon" to be over before I gave a review. First, the retinal display is marvelous. Pictures are so clear...photos, both those received from others and photos I take with the iPad are clear and crisp. The keyboard is easy to use and emails and websites come up quickly. After about a month I still have so much to learn (ie there is so much the iPad 5 has to offer). The iPad will not replace your computer. If. I'm traveling for a week or so I can do with only the iPad. Longer than that I feel like I have to take my laptop as well. It's a personal preference. Others may feel differently

I have purchased 9 IPads for my kids and family for college, leisure, and communicating. This recent purchase will be #10 for my daughter to assist her with her college studies. I also purchased an Otterbox Defender Hornet Series case to protect the IPad, which I highly recommend. The iPad has an outstanding battery life, the applications are functional and streamlined into the system for an effortless use. The are many free apps for leisure activities , as well as for professional applications such as Microsoft power point, excel, and word. I'm impressed with the wireless printing function, which integrates well with documents, photos, and spread sheets. This is an amazing product, it's convent and easy to carry, I hardly ever use my MacBook Pro.

I love the size, and the new operating system. I had bought a Kindle fire, and the apple is much easier to use for web applicatons, both are great readers, the Ipad is lighter and seems to have a better feel. Very happy with my purchase.

i have bought is i pad and it was amazing, but i have returned this product back because i placed wrong order instead of 4g i ordered a normal one, but the supplier was good and they have returned me back all my money. thanks once again to amazon.
