We love this guitar, it has a very pleasant sound and has been very easy to play on. We had previously purchase a very cheap ukulele and it goes out of tune almost immediately after you tune it. This little guitar holds perfectly well. We have a nicer full size acoustic guitar too, so this has been a welcome addition for our young kids to play, and not too expensive - we are new to guitar in general though we were recommended to buy this from a guitar teacher.

Made in Indonesia, with surprisingly good quality. Stays in tune, even in our very dry or very humid apartment. Really impressive for the price, and perfect for a 6-year-old beginner. Excellent sound, looks beautiful. We're happy!

Meh… it's ok for my 7 year old's first guitar lessons but it seems like it's out of tune before we ever get it in tune! Ok sound, overall ok for the money.

My son has had this guitar for 2.5 years now and he's 8 years old. We haven't had any problems with it other than replacing one string once. It's been great.

With the Yamaha brand and price point above other "kids" 1/2 size guitars, I expected more precision sound. The sound feels muffled. Also the neck seems quite bulky for kids. It will do the job of having kids learn off of it, but I am not that impressed. Also, it couldn't have hurt them to mount a couple of strap buttons. I installed them myself.

From the reviews I had read, I thought this guitar would have a better sound. But I suppose you can't compare an inexpensive student guitar to the sound of an expensive one. I believe it is worth the price. It does seem to keep a tune, which is definitely a plus!

We we're very excited to receive the Yamaha 1/2 size classical guitar in time for Christmas. Yamaha is known for their quality craftsmanship and attention to detail in each of their instruments. However, once opened - the guitar we received had lacquer / stain issues near the sound hole. The smudges would not wipe away. Also the stain tone along the fret board is inconsistent on each side. One side is well dark while the other side transitions from dark to light. Very disappointing quality for a first instrument and a present. We hope to work with Amazon on getting a replacement Yamaha 1/2 size guitar with better finish quality.

We bought this guitar for my son's beginner guitar lessons and it came on time and well packaged. It had no assembly required and could be played right out of the box.
The quality of the guitar from looks is good. However, the sound was hollow and doesn't sound that good when strummed. For a little kid (7yr old) it was also difficult to press down on the nylon strings without buzzing. This hinders their ability/opportunity to be successful, something that is important when starting out. The size is about right for an average 9 year old. its a bit large for a 7 year old but playable. It would have been nice if they included some instructional starter things with the guitar such as a pick and a song sheet. Overall I guess its worth the money but you could probably find something a bit better for an extra few bucks

ヤマハの新作の小学3〜4年生からの使用を想定したミニなクラシックギターです。
サイズ的にはテナーウクレレよりちょっと大きい感じ
普通のアコギとエレキは待ってますが、小さめなので持った感覚はエレキくらいのコンパクトさです
小さいのでトイレの個室でもなんとか弾けますw

海外で先行発売されていたようで、ネットでレビューを探しましたが海外のものばかり
持っていたアコギに対し、狭い部屋でちょろっと弾くにはデカすぎないか……という悩みと、クラシックギターってどんなもんなんだろ、と気になりすぎたので買ってみました

製造はインドネシア製らしく、接合部分とか糸巻きの内側とか、ちょっと処理が甘い感じはありました
(怪我しそうというわけではなく、ビカビカに磨いたら違うんだろうなという感じ)
ネックもちょっと安っぽい？
ただ、流石のヤマハで安定はしっかりしてました

感覚的には逆だと思うのですが、low Gウクレレに5、6弦を加えた分だけ指板を広くした感じ？
ミニサイズではありますが、クラシックギターなため、一般的なアコギよりも指板は広いです

カタログにも書いてあるというか書いてない通り、ケース的なギグバッグは付いて来ません
これは何に入れて持ち運べばいいのだろう……
自分は家で使うので問題ないのですが、ソプラノウクレレのようにカバンに入らなくもないサイズとは大幅に違うので専用のケースは欲しいところです

ちなみにAmazonで買ったら良くあるギターのダンボールが収まるように馬鹿でかいダンボールでさらに包んで運んでくれましたw
厳重ではありますが、素のダンボールに伝票貼って送ってくれていいのになともw
付属品は説明書くらいです

個人的にはギタレレよりも高級感はあって(ギタレレが安っぽすぎるだけでこれは普通ですがw)、ギターとして学べるので
ギターをちょっとかじってみたいなという人には最適なおもちゃかと

お子さんがいらっしゃる方は、子供用にも出来ますし、値段もほどほどなので扱い方を学ぶにもグッド

というか、皆さんもっと買って、レビューしてください
ギターベテランの方々がどんな評を下すのか気になります！

アコギは購入したことありますが
クラシックギターは初めてです。
サイズ感は標準の1/2サイズで
ひとまわり小さいサイズ感が
なんだか可愛らしく感じました。
ですが、日本人にはとても
合うサイズにも思います。
運びやすいし、使いやすいサイズ感。
作りや音質に関してもさすがYAMAHAと
いった感じで細かいところまで
きれいに作られています。
チューナーも標準と変わらずなので
初心者の方や子供にも扱いやすいギターです。
