Chainsaw on a pole--who could ask for anything more?
I have a manual pole saw which works for small branches and twigs. But once the branches get too big to cut by pulling on the rope, it is time to pull out the chainsaw on a pole. It works perfectly for those branches that are too big to cut with the manual saw.

FIRST ELECTRIC SAW...BETTER THAN EXPECTED
with a gas powered saw you allow the saw to do the work,,,,with this electric saw you really must let the saw do the work because of the low rpm. cut great for what it is. certainly a little heavy ...59 years old and in good condition. needed a break every 10 minutes or so from the over head weight . would have given 5 stars if not for that but i imagine that is expected.

Great tool every gardener should have.
Great combination of a 10” chain saw blade with a long extension. As can be separated from the extension pole and use it as a handy chain saw to trim limbs and even small logs. When the saw is attached, it’s a bit heavy but still effective.

Not a great pole saw
The chain saw itself makes it very top-heavy and hard to use. As a small limb size chainsaw it works pretty well. We had issues with the chain wanting to come off but I think we adjusted it to make it easier to use.

I have been beating this thing to death. Getting it stuck under the weight of limbs from improper cutting and just yanking it out. Jamming it from weeds going in while cutting bamboo at the base. Knocking the chain off from cramming it into a hedge line, cutting palm tree limbs etc. I figured I would just abuse it til it died. It doesn’t die!

Love all my Worx products !
I have three Worx products. My batteries are all interchangeable so but the pole saw was a given. It is made well and works great. Love the fact the mini chainsaw is detachable. So handy. Easy to operate and built well. Their customer service is great to.

WORX is a high quality battery powered company
can't go wrong this chainsaw finished off my complete WORX set, and for home-owner type stuff nothing can beat their convienence... No more nasty fuel spills and heavy chainsaws oh and its a lot more quiet which is nice.

Worx pole chainsaw.
Purchased this Worx model 10” chainsaw for the flexibility of using the saw attached to the pole or separate. A major wind storm hit our neighborhood 2 weeks after purchasing the saw and knocked down several 6-10” diameter trees. This Worx model proved to be a workhorse cutting through the tree limbs and branches. Our small generator was used to charge extra battery packs we had from our Worx weedwacker. The batteries are the same. Wonderful products.

With this thing I’m ready to cut down the forest
I was surprised at how easy it was to chop down branches. I had a similar product a few years ago but this thing could probably chop down a tree. It’s a bit expensive. That is my only complaint.

Worx Pole Saw is great!
Great product. Battery lasts longer than expected. As others have noted it is heavy to wield with pole extended. A bit of an upper body workout but am very happy with the pole saw.

This unit is a tough cutter and works great. Not fast but cuts limbs well.
Battery life is decent. Easy to extend the pole to cut higher branches. It's not a fast cutter but does a good job. Glad I bought it.

lesson learned
Very disappointed to find out 10 lbs, not extended, turns into ? 60 lbs, when trying to cut a limb of a tree.

Great Price / Poor Design
Great price but must adjust tension after each cut or chain will come off. “Auto tensioner” is a joke. Best thing to say is you get what you pay for. Good tool if you have just a few trees to trim.

Great for the whole family
I bought this for my husband, but I've been using it as well as our son. It's so much easier than using a regular chainsaw. Nothing to fill or oil... just put the battery in and press the button. Works great and has a whole lot of power for a battery powered tool. Have been clearing some small trees and lots of branches. The price was amazing too.

Look for another pole chainsaw!
Battery life isn't bad. Leaks oil like crazy. The casing for the actual chain has too much spacing so while cutting pieces of tree get in and jam the saw up. I wouldn't buy this again.

After one first use, oil leaks and have to add oil every time I need to use it. Will not buy this again.

Battery will not charge
Cannot charge the battery so saw is no use until new battery is shipped.

Excellent product
This works great. Very good quality. The chain is sharp and cuts very well. I was able to take down several tree limbs in just a few minutes. Love it.

Buy it for the saw attachment only
All the weight is at the end, so if you need to cut anything more than a couple feet outside your reach, it gets very awkward.
That said, the saw itself is very good and cuts surprisingly well. Battery life is not at all good, though. With the bigger battery I think it would do very well.

Get bigger battery
Saw is great. Battery life is ok but upgrade to 4amph battery as one shipped with saw does not last. Saw on end of pole is a bit of a workout but great for trimming up trees.

Cuts well!
For the $$ and ease of purchase it’s a very good item. It is rather unbalanced to control with most of the weight at the far end but works well and is great for around the home clean up, just be prepared that it is a bit difficult to control when extended...
