Awesome little chainsaw.
Leaks a little oil, but all of my chainsaws have done that. This little thing works very well, especially when you consider it only has 20v of juice. Using the higher amperage Worx batteries would make it even more of a standout performer. The extendable pole is very well made.

Does what it claims, great from trimming
Chain adjuster backs off easily, other than that did what it need to do, saved me 200.00 by doing it myself after buying. So easy a carpenter girl could use it.

Beast in Disguise
This is a must have tool for any homeowner. I own several gas powered heavier duty chainsaws and I will grab this one first if I need to cut anything small than my leg. I own several acres of wood and use this saw to get rid of the smaller trees or limb branches off bigger trees. You MIGHT Get a solid 30 minutes out of this before the battery starts to die. I will probably buy another. This thing is a beast in disguise.

Was it used???
The assembled unit was a nice one. 4 things of concern are: 1) my saw "appeared" to be used!?! There were wood shavings in the box and the oil reservoir had remnants of oil.? Also, there was "Blue Painters Tape" holding the pole in place in the box, 2) IT WAS HEAVY!!, 3) when I added the larger long life battery ...it got even heavier!, 4) the saw blade was dull. It "chewed" the limb rather than "cut" the limb Overall, it was a good unit but I did not get to fully evaluate it.

Unit was frustrating to use
After reading instruction booklet, battery charged, we were ready to use this chain saw by itself first. This was the first cordless chainsaw purchased. Unfortunately, the chain kept coming off the saw. Not once, not twice, but three times. We spent more time replacing chain on saw than accomplishing anything. My husband eventually used his corded chainsaw. Never tried the pole extension. Very disappointed!

Check the chain!
At first it was not cutting, just scratching the wood. I looked it over and discovered that the chain had been installed backwards. Fortunately there's a nice picture and arrow on the bar and it was easy to tell what the problem was and correct it. Now it works quite well. I'm pleased.

Light, easy to use, pole saw or standalone works both ways. Great saw
I use it for tree trimming and arborist work. Sure it’s not long like a Dwalt but the fact that it’s a pole saw and a stand alone saw makes it much more worth it. I would recommend highly getting a 4ah battery the thing lasts almost forever. It’s also quiet.
The only con with this is you have to store it a certain way or the oil leaks out. Other than that I enjoy its lightness and ease of use.

I have COPD with only 34 percent lung capacity and get winded trying to pull start my gas powered chainsaw. This made life so much easier for me and I thank WORX. I hate feeling limited to what I can do and with this tool I don't.
It cut through limbs and took down this tree with no problem and used one battery. Diameter ranged from 1 to 4 inch and the trunk was 6 inches in diameter.

Absolutely love this cordless pole saw!
I used this for the first time yesterday and it proved that I can sell my gas powered trimmer pole saw. Very easy to setup and use as either a pole saw or stand alone 10 inch saw. I used it as both to cut some high (10-12 ft) limbs and then cut them down to size for transport to my wood pile. I was somewhat concerned about cutting speed/time from watching some Youtube video of a competing product, but I have to tell you this is up to the job! I used a 4ah 20v battery that had 2 of 3 green led's light ( was still recharging it when I started this) and figured it would not last through the project but I was wrong. Still had charge when I quit. Love the chain tension adjustment, just turn the big orange knob until the chain is at proper tension. Had to do this a couple of times since I was breaking the chain in during first use.
If you are planning to do lumberjack volumes of cutting this is probably not the correct tool, but if you are a homeowner needing to trim dead or low haning branches and even the occaisonal fallen tree, this will get the job done.
Was kind of hard to manage at full extension and the pole sagged a bit, but that was fully expected. Not an issue.

Nice Tool
I was a little skeptical before I bought this saw but I’m glad I did. I’m very pleased with it’s performance. It cuts even the largest branches with relative ease and it’s very easy to handle. I wouldn’t cut dow a full grown tree with it but for pruning it’s the perfect tool for the job. The pole attachment needs a little bit of getting used to but I was quickly an expert on it’s use and had no issues at all.
Battery life is normal for a battery operated tools. It certainly will not last all day but it does last long enough to prune a few trees and cut up the branches. If you need more than an hour of constant use the I recommend getting an extra battery.
Overall I would say it’s worth the investment.

This saw will cut a tree down
The chainsaw itself works awesome. It is strong enough to cut a log in half. The battery lasts a very very long time. The extension is a little awkward and heavy but it does a good job too! I use the battery on my worx Blower and weed wacker as the battery lasts longer then the ones they came with.
