Надёжность этих дисков радует (работают 5шт. в течении 2 лет,нареканий нет)

After receiving, I had a problem installing windows, not the drives fault, my computer bios was set for Raid and I had to change that for the install to work. However in reading up on the drive i noticed on WD website that this drive is recommended for SECONDARY Storage, not as a primary drive. I needed a primary drive, so I hope it lasts. Amazon should have had this in the notes on their website when I ordered, from the amazon site, it just looked like an upgrade to the standard drive.

Quality of drive isn't bad at all, however, I believe there can be better deals found on competing websites. Not the quickest drive out there (especially after upgrading a laptop to ssd), but it certainly does its job. Nice for a secondary, HTPC that doesn't get the steady use my laptop does.

I bought 3 Seagate hard drives for a machine I built last year. They're running fine, but I decided to try a Western Digital this time since it was a good price and I used to buy WD drives exclusively.This one is running just as well as the others, as far as I can tell. And just as quiet. The only difference is it's thicker, almost an inch thick while the Seagates are about 3/4 inch. This WD is about the same size as my very old PATA drives! I have no problem with this; I'm just surprised. Anyway, it's a good price and it's doing its job.

I bought this drive to clone an existing 500 GB drive that was 4 years old. The product has been a flawless replacement. It is much quieter than the old drive and about 15-20% faster.Since its a SATA drive, there are no jumpers to mess with. The only negative is that all you get in the box is the drive... no cables, no supports and no mounting screws. Since I was just replacing a similar drive, this wasn't an issue for me. However if you want to add it as a second drive, then stop by your nearest computer store to buy the screws and cable.

Installed into a new rig for my daughter over a month ago and haven't had any problems from it yet. In my opinion Western Digital has always been the most reliable drive on the market.

The Hard Drive came in a "bare bones" box. I installed it in my computer and it works flawlessly. Other western digital products I have purchased have been so far so good and I don't expect any different from this item. If anything negative occurs prematurely, I will surely inform everyone!

I put this drive in an older desktop built for a sata 1 drive. don't get all the benefits of sata 3, but all in all, love it for the speed and price.

My old hard drive crashed. This was a great replacement unit because it has a lot more capacity and faster access time. I actually threw away my old PC and built another one. This was a more sensible way to use the drive than using it as a replacement on a tired old PC.

You hear of all the bragging people do on how good Western Digital hard drives are. I rarely used this hard drive. It kept all my music as backup. Rarely ever running it, then a month after warranty this p,o,s fails. as if the power was shut off to the drive. Ive tried it in both my tower and external enclosure, both with same results, failer failer failer. never again will I buy WD.

I purchased 2 of these to set up in a raid-0 configuration. The frustatration-free packaging was nice, the drives are quiet and haven't quit yet, but I've only had them for 6 months. Definitely worth the price so far.

I bought this hard drive in order to be able to dual boot my computer and it has worked flawlessly. I have purchased many WD hard drives and have never had a problem (meaning failure) with any of them. I highly recommend this hard drive and brand name.
