The hard disk was a replacement to my original disk in Lenevo T60. It was easy to install and has worked perfectly well over the past month. I am completely satisfied with the product and also satisfied with the delivery and service.

I bought this product after reading all the reviews on amazon. I always read the full reviews and then buy producti on amazon. I attached it, format it and Installed Vista. It is working fine and silently. One of the aspect of this HD I like is. I enabled AHCI mode on vista, Installed Intel Matrix storage manager. I got noticeble difference in performace. It increased by 20% or more. I like this change. Before that I had Fujitsu (Defause HD with Inspiron 1520). but there was no performence improvement in that HD with AHCI. I would strongly recommand this product.

I think the hdd is great. There's roughly 270 gigs. ummmmmmmmmm...It arrived in one business day. The price was also really cheap.

I bought the hard drive for my 16 year old son as a gift. He installed it into his laptop and it works beautifully. If I need anything technological again I will check back again.

I originally bought a 60 gig PS3 so it wasn't too long before game installs, music, videos and down-loadable content filled it. This hard drive is the exact same type as one that comes with a PS3 but the drastically bigger memory more than justifies the price. It is easy to install and format so it is well worth the investment for those with pathetically small hard drives if you have enough for the upgrade.

I installed this drive 3 days ago and yesterday it started sounding loud and scratchy and scary. And so far Amazon refuses to answer my email asking what they're going to do about it.

I bought this to upgrade my PS3 from a 60GB unit. Once I backed up the original drive with an external HD, this internal HD took about 10 minutes to install. It was a snap, and I now have 5x more disk space.

I bought this just for my PS3. I originally had a 40gb model and this new hard drive works wonders. After installing it and formatting the new hdd, you are left with approximately 263 GB of space. I read somewhere online that the PS3 counts "space" a little differently so you can actually put around 280 GB of info on this hdd, but still anything over 250 GB is a LOT of space.And as far as speed is concerned, I've noticed certain things load a little quicker. I'm not sure if the hdd has anything to do with that, but I've only got 160 GB of space left and my PS3 is still fast as lightning when it comes to loading and pulling up pics and vids.

I bought this drive to upgrade my notebook computer. Unfortunately, even though my documentation said I had a SATA drive, once I opened the cover I found a PATA drive.So now this drive resides in a StarTech enclosure and I use it as a portable USB drive -- it works great. Initial setup of the drive required Data Lifeguard -- a free download from the WD website.

I've installed this as a upgrade into my PS3 and it works Great!!!!If you were not aware Sony allows you to do this without voiding the warranty!So far, no issues and I took out my original 80GB and put it in a portable USB enclosure. I bought the WD Scorpio 320G to upgrade my original 60G PS3 because I kept running out of space. Install was easy and I have lots of free space now.My only slight complaint is that, of the 298G formatted capacity, I only have 217G left after restoring the data from my 60G drive. Why did it take 80G to restore my 60G drive? Where did the other 20G go?Anyway, I'm happy with the product and would definately reccomend it.

I bought this HDD to replace my previous 60GB HDD on my Ps3. After installation, the device worked perfectly with no problems. Now I have enough space to store my media as well as downloaded games. A great price for a great item - take advantage of it!

Like so many others, I puchased this drive as an upgrade from 60GB HD in my Playstation 3. The drive performs perfectly, no noise, no issues. It has handled everything I have thrown at it, movie downloads, music, and games. This HD is a great choice for Playstation 3 owners and is a great price.

I ordered this after I dropped my laptop and broke my hard drive. Best Buy and Circuit City wanted like $360 to fix it, so I decided to buy one. This hard drive was at a good value and 320GB is a lot of space. Also it arrived about 2 days earlier than expected. And it works just fine, actually i think my laptop is actually faster now after this hard drive, but maybe its just because my old hard drive was a 120GB. Overall everything was great!!!

I was looking for a larger drive to replace my 160gb Sony VAIO SZ660 notebook. With the latest 320gb drives, I wanted to make sure that it still gave a decent performance and maintained an acceptable power consumption. This drive worked in every aspect. Just from normal use, I can't really see any difference in the battery life without testing it in depth. But from normal use, it seems to be the same; give or take 5mins, which is quite acceptable for double the storage. The performance is on par with the OEM 160gb 5400rpm Seagate. What's amazing is the noise. I can hardly hear any noise from the spinning and the actuator reading data. The Seagate was quite loud. I could hear it accessing data with clicking noises. The WD is just silent.Good buy.

I bought this Hard Drive to upgrade my PS3. My 40GB drive wasn't cutting it. If you are thinking about getting this hard drive but aren't certain, check out a youtube video on how to install a new hard drive in your PS3. I am not very tech savvy, and I was able to replace my old drive in less than 10 minutes with the help of the youtube video. Now I have a ton of room on my PS3. The Hard Drive works great.

I purchased this to replace the 40g drive on my Playstation 3. After the drive was formatted by the PS3 and I loaded what I had backed up from the old PS3 drive, I still have 250g left to play with. No problems with the drive at all and it is whisper quiet. I highly recommend this item for anyone looking to replace thier Playstation 3 hard drive.

The drive works flawlessly with the PS3. The backup and restoring of PS3 data took some time (about 25 gig data took 1.5 hrs altogether) but PS3 formatting of the drive was automatic and took a couple of minutes.

I was concerned with it being a loud drive. I own a MacBook Pro, and it had a smaller and very quiet drive in it. After I received the item, I watched a 5 min video on YouTube on how to install it, and followed those instructions. It was pretty easy, and the new drive is quiet and works well. Ryan
