I am happy say that the Raspberry Pi running Raspbian just detected it. It was also tested under the Cubieboard using Linaro Linux. You might need to run dhclient eth1. No drivers required.

My Ethernet port is broken on my computer so I have had to use these for the last 2 years. I've tried probably 4 different models and this one is just as good as the rest (although no better than the 5 dollar models, but I don't do too much online gaming so I don't know about that, but videos and downloads are just as fast) and lasted just as long (about 6 months).

I put this in a 4 year old MB running Vista Business and it worked perfectly. Don't forget to go into the BIOS and shut off the on-board network card. Otherwise, it will waste time looking for it on start-up.

I had no problems installing it. My Win7pro picked it right up and I was in business again. If it lasts a couple of years, this, will be a great card.

I ordered 10 of these to use on Ultrabooks at demo stations (for wired internet backup) and they worked great! They are cost-effective (I saw some double the price) and do the job well.

I like this so much I bought two, one to keep plugged into my usb hub and network at the office, and one to keep in my bag for travel. Hard to beat for the price. I highly recommend it!

The product may or may not have worked but it cost me over half the price of the item just to view it. I probably could have gone to a regular retailer and seen an unopened package for free.

Cheap and great bang for the buck. I bought this to upgrade an old Dell that had 10/100 onboard. Windows 7 64bit Ultimate recognized it with no problems and found the drivers, though you will need an existing internet connection for that. I have not tried the drivers off the included disk as there is no need. Noticeably faster connection to that computer through my network now.

Easy to setup/install..So far it works beautifully! Having a gigabyte pci adapter helped supercharge my internet speed :) I'd recommend this to anyone seeking performance at an affordable price :)

If I could have given this product a zero star or even better a negative star review I would have.I have a MacBook Air which is running Fusion. I made a virtual machine and installed Window 7 Professional 64 bit. I installed Office, Photoshop, and a few utilities. All was well except I couldn't activate windows or get updates because Windows I don't have a wireless connection and the Air doesn't have an Ethernet connector. So I bought this Trendnet USB to Ethernet adapter which works -- it says -- with Windows 7 64 bit and Lion. Perfect. NOT!!!Following instructions I did setup without the device connected. Then I connected the adapter and as stated the driver loaded just fine. Then I connected the network cable. Still all was ok. Then I started Firefox.BAD MOVE.The system instantly went to the infamous Blue Screen of Death. I tried rebooting and the same thing happened. I tried the next time to boot Windows using safe mode.NOPE. THAT DID ME IN.Now the system now will not boot because Safe mode fails.I called Trendnet tech support and once they heard that I was using it on a Mac running VM they bailed. Sorry it won't work. But it doesn't say that anywhere, not on the data sheet, not on quick install guide, not on the user manual. No warning anywhere. Sorry it won't work. Click.Am I pissed!!!!Never will I use a TrendNet product again. They are off the list. I hope you boycott them too.Alan

I bought one of these to use for my Hackintosh workstation. Since these are the cards that are native to Mac OS X, my workstation had no trouble recognizing the card and using it right away without any need for installing any drivers.

I got this for a FreeNAS (A linux-based storage "server", for you non-techies) box, so I can confirm it works with those. Currently my file transfers are transferring at half a gigabit, but I think that might be because of my old IDE hard drives I used in the FreeNAS box (I might actually have a ATA66 in there). Maybe not, but either way it is 5x faster than an 10/100 card, which aren't much cheaper than this anyway.Great price, and a must have for large file transfers.UPDATE: Not any faster after upgrading to a SATA drive. I'll update if I find any tweaks that speed up the speed. Not positive where the "bottleneck" is... could be my PC, I haven't tested speeds against anything else.

My On board nic stopped working so I needed an easy, cheap replacement. This Trendnet card installed easy and works great. Nothing to complain about at all and I highly recommend it.

At first I could not get it to go in my computer,contacted the technical dept. In the mean time my nephew got it in for me. So by the time tech sent an email I didn't need them.

After a storm came through I was without internet on one of my pc's and narrowed it down to the ethernet card. Ordered this card as a replacement and my computer was back on line in no time. Works really well, no hitches.

I use this as my second NIC in my pfsense box. I have it connected to a 24 port gigabit switch and it works flawlessly, haven't had any issues.

The onboard network jack on my brother's motherboard went bad. Everything else worked fine, so I didn't want to replace the whole motherboard for just a network jack. I just needed a basic network card, nothing fancy.I ordered this card, and popped it in. Windows 7 saw it and I was up and running with a working PC. Simple no hassle.

The pre-installed Network adapter died on a four year old motherboard, and this seemed like a perfect solution. Streams video and downloads data faster than the built in Ethernet.
