This was suggested by a friend and I love it. I was just going to get a cheap card to put in my computer for now but I've been really happy with this instead. The external antenna makes it work fantastically and it comes with a usb extension cord. This lets me still have my computer close to the wall, and set the device somewhere where it still won't be seen but still get a great signal from my router which is on the floor above. I also love the fact that I could use it on any other device if I need to without too much of a hassle.

I have fios 25/25I was using a wireless-g stick and my speedtest was ~5/5.I plugged this little guy in and my speedtest is 20/15.Through walls, floors etc.

Im giving this wireless usb adapter 5 stars because this is my first adapter and its working like it suppose too i get 5 bars all the time and right now im connected to a network from i don't know where, This adapter is amazing. TP-Link keep it up

First few week worked like a dream. Now however it is dose not like to connect. I will load a web page fine but once I click anything in that website it says I have a network error. So I took the adapter off and used an ethernet cable and what do u know my network no longer has errors. try another brand!!!!!!!! I am.

Needed an adapter in a pinch. Works great so far. Installation was painless. It was recognized and used just by connecting it (Ubuntu Linux 10.10)

Works great. If you put it up a little higher with the included cable, you can improve your reception. I was able to see some neighbors' networks I was not able to see before.

My young friends needed to connect to a free wifi zone where they live, it's not a very strong signal at their house. I found this Adapter and bought it for them and they are very pleased with this unit. No trouble to set up and they get good reception with it. I needed an option after upgrading my PC to Windows 7 for wifi, as I have no hardwired ethernet connections in my home. I have used TP-Link items in the past and have always had good luck with them. I thought I'd try this one out, as I wanted the ease of use of USB compatible as opposed to opening up my case and installing one on my motherboard.This was super easy to set up - plug it in, and Windows automatically installs the drivers. It recognized my network right away, and I connected and voila - internet connection.The only downside is that it breaks the connection when the computer sleeps, and it takes about a minute to reconnect once the computer wakes up. It's similar to any other wifi enabled device needing time to connect once it wakes up, but this felt just a bit longer than normal. Other than that, super easy to use and fantastic range with a solid connection!

This wireless adapter worked very well. Although it is not plug and play, the disc that came with it installed the drivers fairly quickly. The price is great for the quality. I needed a wireless adapter for my pc because i did not have wireless built in on my new pc and did not feel like getting a card. This gets better signal than the built in wireless on my HP desktop.

I needed something that worked better than the onboard wireless card/antenna on my Dell Inspiron laptop. Many times I couldn't pick up the signal from the router. Since I have been using the TP-Link TL-WN722N I have had no problems. I usually get atleast 4 bars on the signal strength indicator and sometimes even 5 where as before I would only get 2 or 3 at the most. I like the USB cable it comes with so that I can move the device around and get it out of the way. All in all, a good product that works at a good price and easy to install driver.

easy to install and provides a strong solid signal for my pc that i have hooked up to my tv in the living room. i am able to stream movies directly from the pc to the tv via the wireless signal

My requirements aren't demanding, I just needed something to replace the ethernet cable running across my floor.It worked out of the box with Linux, Windows 7 was able to find drivers online, and at a range of 8 feet it doesn't seem to be bottlenecking my 3Mbps DSL.

OK so i was a bit sketchy when i decided to buy a wireless USB network adapter for my PC for under $10. I've seen reviews for these things with people saying they are an arms length from the router and still getting bad reception and im across the house and in the basement, so i wasn't really expecting much. I must say I am quite amazed at the performance of such a budget friendly option, for the past week i've been surfing the internet at speeds seemingly faster than my wired connection in my last home, online videos are streaming seamlessly and my download speeds are great. The software installed really fast but it was too hard to use for my taste, but I found a tab with an option to just run it through Windows' wireless utility so problem solved. I would recommend this product to anybody and everybody who doesnt want to pay a ridiculous amount for a name brand version that is the exact same thing.

This TP-Link TL-WN722N Wireless adapter works great on Ubuntu-10.10 without installing its driver CD.Additional info:-The driver CD comes with it is smaller disk and it will not fit a CD/DVD drive of a laptop, if there is no Tray coming out of the Laptop to place the CD.Some of the latest laptops DVD drives are built within and need to just insert the CD/DVD and drive will automatically pull the CD/DVD inside.To take it out we needed to eject out by using eject keyboard button. (Also, it is possible, one could use another PC to burn this CD to a bigger CD and use it )However, the product works great, I have purchased this for Ubuntu 10.10 (Linux) and which could not able to recognize built in wireless card of my Dell Studio laptop. As soon as I have plugged this to USB port, instantly it picked up lists of available wireless connections. Just select your connection and provide SSID and pass code, thats it.This package is compatible with Windows 7 / Win XP as wellGreat product.

I have been using this for a week now. Easy install on XP. Included extension cable is a bonus. Feels like it is faster than my other wireless cards.

Plugged this adapter into my desktop, installed the driver only, connected to network. Previously had 1-2 bars in an office with concrete block walls. Now have 4-5 bars consistently. Well worth the cost...

Bought this to replace an internal D-Link 556 wireless adapter which cost 3 times as much. This was a breeze to install, had a significantly faster connection, and was far more reliable. When I first installed the drivers, it instantly found about 10-15 wireless networks around me compared to the 1-2 the D-Link found. Moreover, it has a great connection very far away from the router (and through many walls). It's truly one of the best bangs for my buck I've ever experienced.

this product does what it claims. i had an pc wireless card from airlink but that was too weak to recieve signals but this one is really good at receiving signals. 5 stars for this and i really recommend getting it

This wireless adapter is perfect! It's easy to install - simply insert the small disc into your computer and follow the directions! What's great about this item is that it comes with a 3 foot USB extension cable. It was a nice surprise, because I was actually in the process of searching for one on Amazon.
