It works fine and it had 5 disc system that is why i wanted it . I wanted Sony, but this is the same to me. The medium is changing again, c/d's will be gone, they love to make us catch up. What will be after MP-3 is beyond me, but c/d's are at the end. Sad, but I have seen over my years, 78 rpm, 33 1/3, 45 rpm, 8 track cassette, cassettes, mini cassettes, c/d's and now MP-3. I get it, it keeps the industry going. If we all had working products and were happy, then no one would try to invent new things. It's amazing how the mind works to do this. God Bless the engineers and inventors.

It simply didn't work - the carousel wouldn't even open and I asked two friends familiar with stereo equipment to take a look at it and they also couldn't open it.
When looking at past reviews on Amazon I saw that other people had had the same problem with a TEAC cd player. I have to wonder if it is the same cd player being repeatedly sent out to customers?
However, Amazon were very helpful, crediting my cc account even before I had returned the item.

So far, so good. Have only used it a half dozen times so far, but it seems to do the job. The remote isn't very helpful unless you are in front of the changer, but otherwise it seems fine. Hope it continues to work well.

I allowed the return privilege to expire. I purchased the player in February and did not use it. It didn't seem to be compatible with my system. ITHOUGHT IT WAS MY IGNORANCE, But it turns out it's not compatible with anyone's system, because it doesn't work.

The Player/Changer was defective upon delivery. The tray rack did not come out when the button was pressed. Please send me instructions to return the device for a new one. I did not keep the box or return slip. Please send a new box and pre-paid shipping return slip.
Amazon and TEAC created a problem for me and I am very disappointed in both companies. I did not expect this from either.

Typical "made in China" cd door would not open. Returned it the next dad. Do not recommend it. Vendor refunded my money promptly.

Works fine and sounds good. Only disappoint in unit is the remote doesn't power unit on or off. Guess I was just spoiled by my old cheeper changer. I will survive.

I used the same CD player the brand was SONY for 15 years, but with this product the 1st use all motivation is slower than SONY & carousel #3 does not work.

The machine did not work work . Sound wasn't clear, and and drawer did not open and close right. It looked like that box had been shipped a multitude of times.

But, it does not shuffle between CDs. So it will play one CD after the next only. There is a programmable feature, but in two tries it hasn't worked plus that is a labor intensive way to get mutil disc shuffle.
Many of the functions are only possible on the remote not on the unit itself.
Also, I wasn't careful enough seeing the MP3 label, I thought it had a docking station, but no just a CD player.

we order this CD player and it didn't work when we took it out of the box and plugged it in. We returned to Amazon (they were fantastic to work with) and got a second one. That one worked for 5 minutes and then died. We noticed a slight burning smell so we think the electronics must have fried. Amazon again told us to send back and sent out a new one -- which didn't arrive in time for our needs. I'm very surprised since we were replacing a TEAC that lasted 20 years without a problem until the turntable mechanism died. Amazon was great to work with but my opinion of TEAC has suffered a bit.

This Teac unit I brought is just what the doctor ordered.It is easy to use and came on time and in perfect working order and best of all at a good price.If you have a CD collection and do notwant to go through the hassel of switching everything over to another format this is the real deal.

Excellent CD player. Easy to load, skip tracks, and skip disks. It wasn't difficult to connect to my speakers and the other stuff - perfect for the technologically challenged like me. Very clear display. Just what I wanted and at a great price.

Keep forgetting to tell you that we need a pick up. Unfortunately the disc player does not engage so the discs don't get scanned. My brother (who is a sound engineer) put it together and we were all amazed that it didn't work until he looked at it.
