For those of you "diehards" like me - this is the real deal when it comes to the old fashioned carousel CD players. Unit is a perfect fit for those of you like me "oldsters" that actually remember what a rack system was. Comes with standard RCA plugs, and literally will plug and play with your old analog or digital amplifier / receiver in minutes. Sound quality is fabulous, operation is smooth, quiet, and seamless. (Has remote control but is easily programmed to a universal remote if you wish).

The first one wouldn't read the disc in the 5th tray. The dealer, One Stop Shop were honorable and cooperative. They replaced the defective unit with a new one and it also wouldn't read the disc in the 5th tray. I returned it for a refund figuring two tries was enough. I note this particular produce is now "unavailable" but beware if it eventually becomes avaiable again.

Product performs well. Nice to have as many as 5 cds in the carousel. Downside is the swirling noise when playing a cd. You will need to turn the volume up to not hear that noise.

I purchased this for my parents 50th Wedding Anniversay Party. which was 3 weeks after it arrived I keep it in the box until that night. open the box, sat it up on a nice table... well, here comes the boom .... I put on the 1st Music CD..getting the mood set...sound good... It played well..I can remember saying to myself, Girl, you did good.. time for the 2nd CD ti play... this TEAC PD-D2610 5 CD Carousel Changer...changed up alright..lol..no, not funny at all.. okay, I'm playing my parents (and their 40 guests) their favorite back inn the day Brand New CD's.. by the 4th song on the 2nd CD ...it started skipping? Okay so,I quickly changed the CD to the 3rd choice for the night.....by the 2nd song, here we go again...skipping..now, may I remind you these are Brand New CD's me and my siblies chipped in together to purchase from Bestbuy, Walmart, Targets ..all were still sealed up until I placed them inside the Player.. It got so bad, I sent me daughter to the near by Walgreens to get a CD Player...thats was truly a Good comeback/ a Great save... After that night I place it back in the box...I place it in the closet...didnt think I could return it...wont' Ever buy any Electronic Items from Amazon.... My parents were upset/disappointed until I started playing the $29.99 no name CD player..

This never worked very well, and after having it just over six months (on Christmas day!), it's stopped reading discs altogether. Clearly the audio gods don't want us to have DVDs any more.... Amazon offers virtually nothing else besides this piece of crap to play them on.

Works but I feel let down. This was a pricey piece and it is slow and clumsy as far as the mechanism is concerned. I had one of these in the early 1990's I can't believe they have no advances in CD players in that time. I bought it to serve as a music source when the internet drops out and it serves that function. So it works if you don't mind waiting forever in between songs on seperate discs in random mode. Anyway way over priced for what we got.

I have no complaint about the Teac PD 2610 5 cd changer. My complaint is about the company ( Limited Goods ) return policy. I purchased the unit on June 17th and received it on June 19th. It was to deep for my cabinet so I sent it back on June 20th and got confirmation that they received it on June 23rd. It was sent exactly as I received it with ALL the ORIGINAL PACKING exactly as I received it. The next day they sent an e-mail stating " your item arrived destroyed". This was not possible since it was sent exactly as I received it.. They would not issue the credit. But to AMAZON'S credit, they will issue the credit and charge the seller. I could not rate the Teac PD 2610 5 CD changer since I was not able to use it.
High praises to Amazon and only contempt for Limited Goods
I have since received a single CD player from Amazon and am very happy with its quality.

It does not work on a consistent basis. It will not allow you to designate a CD. It will not stop moving on accession. If you can get it to start, it does play the CDs.

I read many reviews before making my purchase. Most of the bad reviews seemed to focus on the failure of the remote to work properly. Some reviews said the product was damaged. Still many reviews said it worked great.
So I decided to try my luck LOL
It is just a piece of junk. Many of my cds skip on this device....not on other players......it does not want to change from one CD to the next....at least not quickly.......and it does not want to play CD #1 At All !!!
Also, it does not have a "Random" feature, which I could live without if there were not so many other problems.
I am returning mine. I will go to Best Buy and pay twice as much, but at least the thing will function.
So I decided to try my luck LOL

Seems great so far. Very easy to operate remote. There is no on-off button, but the on-off problem can be solved by plugging it into the amplifier. There is no eject button, either, and it might be nice to have one--but on the other hand if you're close enough to change the CD it doesn't seem like a whole lot of trouble to move your hand over an inch and press the button.

I should have read the reviews by other purchasers of this item in regards to the carousel tray sticking during opening and closing functions. And it does not shuffle songs from all discs. It only shuffles songs from disc 1...then moves to disc 2...etc.

The service is great. The CD player is a bit of a disappointment because it only shuffles one disc then moves on the the next disc and shuffles it. Not a really useful shuffle.

I was disappointed to discover that the "shuffle" feature was only available within each individual CD and not throughout all five as was the case with my retired player. The "MP3" feature does not allow an MP3 player to connect to the unit, but rather it plays CDs recorded in the mode.

Priced right, fast free delivery, no hassle. Received "new" in sealed Manufacturer's box. It continues to do everything described in the ad without problems. So far I am very pleased with it.

Skips, does not recognize cd's. When it finds a cd it plays fine. A little quality control would be nice. Not happy in Peoria!

It sounded good and played the cd's just fine, but the wording in the description sounded like it would play "random". Their idea of random is to not play the tracks on a single cd in order. It will not play tracks from various cd's like most 5-disc players.

The TEAC CD-Player PD-D2610 quit working after 2 years of light use. The component worked satisfactorily until the day it died without warning. The digital read out continues to light-up (as though working) but it no longer advances the discs or plays music. The unit was connected to all new equipment and seemed to function properly until the day it quit. This is a shame because it started out so well but it failed so quickly in the end. My experience is that this model belongs in the trash "where it currently resides."

Although we haven't had it that long (about one month), it sounds and works perfectly. It replaces a similar carousel changer and seems to be just what we were looking for. Smaller than most and an absolutely perfect fit for our cabinet, which was extremely important to us! Timely delivery too. We are very happy with this purchase. Listening now! : )
