Великолепно

Nice in-ear headphones. Provide nice balanced sound with an emphasis on bass. The hybrid earbuds provide a great seal for an awesome listening experience. I loved my MDR-XB90EX so much, which have clearer sound & more bass, that I ended up ordering these to use at work. I never thought so much bass can come from an in-ear headphones. These are constructed of aluminum, where's the slightly cheaper MDR-XB30EX's are polymer(plastic). I think Sony made a mistake by not selling these in United States, there are plenty bass-heads here that would appreciate the bass of this product line. Huge thanks to all the legit Japaneses sellers that decided to import these to USA.

amazingly balanced headphones for very cheap. extra bass is sort of a joke because big bass is really hard to get in ear buds but the bass is certainly better than any skullcandy earbuds. higs mids lows are all great none drown out the others all very clear.

I had these earphones over a year now, I only use them at the gym. These don't grip really well and I keep adjusting them every few minutes. I would not use for running. Sounds is clear, not so much bass like they described but they sounds good for today's hip-hop and electronic music. Is it worth 75 bucks...Not really, now that I think of it. I even wonder why I spent that much on a pair of earphones. oh well.

basically listens to mandarin/jpop,classical music and some dj mix

& yeah. my sponge is wearing out, so is the gold paint. and my label "L" was knocked off while i was pulling it out from my bag.

music is still great.

These are my favorite ear buds to date. They feel great and actually stay in my ear. The way the ear bud is shaped gives it such great grip on your ears. I recently lost them and i have been using some skullcandys while i workout and those do not say in my ear. The quality of this product is also great it has a no tangle cord that comes in handy. Now to sound quality this ear bud works well with all types of music but really shines when it comes to rap and electronic/heavy base music. The base isn't overpowering at all, its nice and punchy.

Великолепно

Majority of my day is spent with a pair of headphones in. They get heavy use and aren't treated well. Most headphones break from a frayed connection at the base plug. Since purchasing these about a year ago, all of these other sets have broken:

- Klipsch S4 (4 pairs)
- Brainwavz S1 (1 pair)
- Powerbeats (2 pairs)
- MEElectronics M6 (3 pairs)

These are my longest lasting pair. I recently ordered a second at 2x what I originally paid, but they're that good. Excellent sound quality, strong cable, fits ear nicely, and the BASS is superb for the size. The L/R rubber on the sides eventually falls off, but they work just as well. Too bad they've been discontinued, hope to see more like them in the future.

For the price I couldn't ask for more. Solid bass, decent but not irritating highs and mids. Best of all a comfortable fit that don't fall out when you sweat working out. Highly recommended.

Yes, these headphones are great, while they exist. My 1st pair died after about 70 days (the cord started to short, then only 1 earpiece worked despite handling with utmost care) but the company that sold them to me replaced them, they are great and this review doesn't reflect them. My SECOND pair died after about 95 days which made them ineligible (Sony's warranty is 90 days) and guess what, the problem was the exact same thing. The cord frayed internally (looked fine both times on the outside) and only 1 headphone worked. Also, this time part of the headphone fell apart and the paint chipped. I work in an office building and my workouts are bike riding so there is no wear and tear, I am fastidious with caring for my electronics, I've had the same iPod touch for 4+ years lol and I use it 5x a day.

Oh, one other thing, I bought these the 1st time bc I had the same problem with my other Sony headphones. After all of this happened, a friend of mine gave her mine, she had the same headphones. About 20 days in the same thing happened. THAT MAKES 4 PAIRS OF SONY EAR BUDS!! All slightly outside of the 90 day purchased time limit.

DO NOT BUY THESE OR ANY SONY HEADPHONES - THEY WILL BREAK

These worked well, sounded good. But the body is plastic and the base broke from the earpiece body after about 6 months. I admit that it got used a lot, but mostly at night in bed.

I bought this back when it costed around $40, and it was well worth it. I listen to edm and some pop, and it was quite impressive. I've had this for about two years, and it is now having problems producing low frequency sounds. It's plastic build makes it feel a bit cheap, and probably makes it less durable. Overall, these were good $40 IEMs, but now that the price has nearly doubled I don't think anyone should bother buying these.

Fantastic! The problem with reviewing headphones is that once some sound comes out people give five stars. You have to know what sounds bad. These are clear and bassy. Crisp and loud. Do not hesitate. The fact that they're buds makes the clarity better than Audio Technica headphones. I have tried them too. Was not impressed. Use with the Sony Walkman. Best duo ever! I'm hearing things in songs I've listened to since the 80s that I've never heard before!

My boyfriend has been complaining and complaining about how loudly his co-worker is at work. Apparently, she's a heffer and has a constant looping playlist of body sounds. There isn't a day where my boyfriend will tell me how loudly she slurps her food, how many times she grunts, how she sounds like she's choking all the time....the list goes on. SO, I bought him these for his birthday. Liquid gold for his ears. A gift of Harpocrates himself - silence.

I think they're a pretty good bargain compared to other pricier name brands. According to my boyfriend, these fit perfectly (he's got big ol' ear holes) and they block out so much sound that he scares himself when he's eating with them on.

Amazing set of head phones! my old sony's died on me =[ which lasted me for about 3 years. I can have these on for hours without my ears hurting i highly recommend it!

I use these for hours at a time at work. They are very comfortable and sound amazing for In-Ear headphones. They are a little on the heavy side for running with but that seems to be the trade off you get for good sound. I would buy these again.

Let me begin by saying, I don't consider myself an audiophile. What I am is a typical 18 year old guy who loves to hear that bass. I have owned several earphones and headphones alike. From the JVC Gummy to the holy grail of beats, Dr. Dre Beats Pro series. So to begin, JVC Gummy durability fantastic, sound output quality subpar. Which is to be expected. Skullcandy sound output quality is fairly good but I've had troubles with durability of some of their models such as, smokin' buds. But my Titans have held up nicely enough. Every pair of beats earphones I've had have broke somewhere in the cord itself within months. I search and search for good earphones with bass that I can hear and feel. It's what I crave to be honest. Then I come across these and decide to give them a shot after mostly good reviews. I'm not disappointed these outshine my Skullcandy Titans, and are holding up extremely well. I would recommend these any day.

Sound great but too bulky. I guess you can see in the photo these are big and bulky. No surprise there. But they do sound good. I use them at my desk and have a smaller less bulky set (Sony, of course) for the gym. Sony does make the best headphones by far. The ear buds do a good job of blocking external noise which means you don't have to turn your music up as loud. That's good for your ears. Don't waste your money on non-Sony crap.

I spend a lot of time looking for a set if earbuds that were durable and of course, had great sound. After searching around for the
"top rated earbuds under $100," these came up as a good option because of the value you get when buying through Amazon (regular $80 on Sony.com).

The earphones themselves are plastic housings but seem robust enough to take a beating. I have always found the weak points of earbuds to be the cord connections anyway. The cord resembles a shoelace (which seems to produce less cable noise than my last pair of braided chord earbuds). But one of my biggest concerns other than the sound quality is that the place where the cord connects to the earbud is reinforced. The last 3 pairs of earbuds I've owned have failed at this connection.

I've only had these for about 2 months and they reside at my desk at work, so I can't imagine they will take much of a beating. I use them every day, and they are very comfortable to wear. They are a bit bulky, but they won't fall out of your ear.

As far as sound quality is concerned, I think they are fantastic. This is the most expensive pair of earbuds that I've ever purchased, so I can't compare them to REALLY nice/expensive products. But compared to the other earbuds I've owned, these sound more like speakers than earbuds.

Also, I like the gold look. I would definitely recommend these.

Very nice sounding earbuds. Only problem is that when you wear them for a long period of time, inside your ears get sweaty and starts smelling. Honest reviews though. The sound is amazing but I think I'm resorting to over the ear headphones instead.

I paid roughly $40 for these in October and so far they have served me well. They definitely blow the bargain basement crap out of the water. The paint is starting to wear a bit but, i didn't buy them to be pretty. The cord is great as well. I throw them in an altoids tin and when I'm ready to go they come out perfectly and not tangled at all. This can be a real pain in the ass with other headphones. For $40 they are hard to beat. For what they are selling for now I might consider spending a bit more.

This is my third pair of noise isolating headphones. I use them anytime I need to tune out EVERYthing: airplanes, noisy coffee shops, mowing/triming, power washing, chainsawing... seriously. I tend to treat them roughly which is why this is my third pair now. First was Shure E2s, which were GREAT albiet much much more expensive. Then, Sennheiser buds... which I do not recall the model, except that they had fabric sheathing on the cables which made awful sound in the buds when they rubbed against each other. And now these beauties.

These are by FAR the best I've heard when it comes to bass. That is where some sort of voodoo magic must surely be happening. They are NOT however limited to just bass. The sound quality from low to high is exceptional.

The cables are odd, they're overmolded flat ribbon cable, but they seem quiet and relatively tough... time will tell... I really like that the audio jack is TINY - no worries about interference with smartphone or other smart device covers.

They are NOT discrete... they're large, which I suspect has something to do with the bass magic. Doesn't bother me at all though.

Bottom line: These seem like they should be much more expensive for the quality. Very happy with this purchase.
