Search the Seagate community forum on this one. It will simply disappear from your BIOS at ramdom intervals and give you the blue screen of death. I fixed all my PC problems by replacing this drive. Don't waste your time and money on this one.

If you need a lot of storage for music or video this should fit the bill.I have nearly a thousand LP's that I am converting to OOG audio (Vinyl Rules) and needed a huge capacity and fast drive. Over half full though, Hope the 1.5 terabytes are around the corner.As a computer tech with 15 years experience I have seen Seagate perform well year after year.Semper FiCraig

Great hard disk. Very quiet and fast operation. With a SATA installation, it is very easy to route cable around the inside of the box.

Tons of memory, easy install, fast seek times. If you need lots of storage and don't have a lot of desk space, get this internal Harddrive!!

I actually bought this drive for my brother. He's more tech-savvy than me and says the Barracuda 1TB SATA drive performs really well. It's lightning-fast, and of course has loads of storage space!

It's small like any 3.5in HDD, but packs a 1TB/32MB punch! It also helped that product arrived promptly and as promised. Thumbs up!
