The name says it all
Loving it. Especially now i've found that the zero(+) button gives you the other choices of words when using predictive text, word will be highlighted :) Got 8gb of memory, a data cable and i'm thinking of buying some micro speakers as well.
Swapped from an OLD razr which i also loved but if you want music, text, email, torch and ease of use all wrapped up in a "solid" construction then this is brilliant. Smart phones are great i'm sure but if your the type that won't set them up properly or will get confused easily then i'd recommend this much cheaper phone. Earphones even sound reasonable although i'm sure some will want better.
Only gripe is i'd like to be able to set a time before key lock kicks in and very occasionally i forget hitting the confirm button straight away starts the web. I'm using an IPOD nano sock just to keep face a little more protected. Hope this helps :)

Great basic phone
This Samsung phone arrived on time and was very easy to set up even for a non techie like me. I am on 02 and it connected in seconds.It has a nice rubberised grip which gives a 'sure' hold and copes well the the knocks and bumps of everyday use. The screen is not great and neither is the camera but they do a decent job which is all I need. The phone itself has a good receiver/mic and the radio is surprisingly good too. Sending Texts is a doddle and the torch is useful for poking around in the recesses of my handbag. All in all a great basic handset,robust and hard wearing with no fancy gadgets to drain the battery. It won't appeal to those who like a more sophisticated larger phone that comes with a hefty price tag. The Amazon price was cheaper than the high street too. A good purchase for my needs.

Tough. Dropped in Lake. Dropped down stairs. Still working fine
I bought this phone for my daughter as she had gone thru 4 "trendy" phones in 18 months. I got fed up with hearing of phones breaking as they had dropped on the floor, been kicked or had fallen into the bath !! I have not regretted it. So inspite of the way this phone gets abused, it seems to be indestructable. This phone has fallen down the concrete steps in the multi-storey car-park. It has fallne in various glasses of beer/ coke / water. It never gives up and the battery is good too.
Anyone with a carless teenager would suit this. Or if you are into outdoor pursuits e.g. skiing , kayaking then this is the phone for you.

Excellent
Hubby is a builder and is very hard on phones. Had one of these a few years ago and dropped it into a vat of concrete, never to be seen again. Couldn't get the same phone to replace it at the time and has gone through several phones since, so when I seen this I ordered it for his birthday. He was over the moon. Its fairly basic by today's standards, but all he wants it for is to make and receive calls and send and receive texts, and of course the flash light feature which he finds so handy. It is durable and sturdy and battery charge lasts anywhere from 5 days to a week, depending on how much he uses the flash light. Overall, a sturdy, reliable, basic phone that does what it says on the tin (or box as the case might be)

Nice and simple to use. Good operating system. Seems very tough and well put together, maybe due to being a bit on the heavy side. Absolutely impressive battery life, well over 1 1/2 weeks with my level of use, which, admittedly is less than average. I have not used it except for calling people and texting, but it has a camera, music player and fm radio.
If you want a phone that does not fall apart when you drop it, and has not fancy stuff to play with, with an ever lasting battery, it's great. If you want a smart phone, you'd probably never read this anyway.

Great phone
I work outdoors and my hobby is sea kayaking so I wanted something solid oh yes I occasionally drop things.
I have had it for about a month during which I have been impressed with the battery life, over a week without a charge, ok I tend to use it as a phone a tad unusual these days.
Nice feel to the key pads there's an option to auto lock the keypad so you never dial that last number accidently multi function keys for options etc.
Although I take it sea paddling having had waterproof products before I still protect it although not 100% and I have the option with wet hands to use it.
The ring tone on outdoor profile is very loud, great radio and I have just increased the memory with an 8 gb card
So far so good and it was at a reasonable price.

Greek instructions and charger
The phone is fine but clearly not meant for UK market. The instructions are in greek the charger is a two pin type ( no good to me) and the seal on the box was already broken. I would normally have sent this straight back except I had recently bought this phone on Amazon before Christmas and it got damaged by our new puppy so this was a replacement. So I already had the english instructions and english charger, from the first phone. I am not happy but have managed the situation myself.

Worth every penny
For all of you who just would like a phone that you can rely on, is value for money this is it. I am fed up with the new phones which are getting bigger and bigger and cost too much. Soon they will have an actual phone app so you can make phone calls
So if you are feed up of taking photographs of your hand, missing calls because you could not slide your finger across the screen in time or find that for the past half an hour you have been discussing your hatred and ' what your going to do to your boss when you win the lottery' only to hear a voice from your pocket requesting you to see them in your office the following day! This is a phone it does what it says on the box

Durable phone that does what you need it to.
I've had this phone in a holster on my belt in front line security work, climbing, camping, fell running, dog sledding and all manner of outdoors stuff with no problems whatsoever. The battery lasts ages, I can text or call from most places, buttons work when I'm wearing gloves and it's been used and abused for months with no visible signs of distress.
I can even give it to my little boy to play with and he can't break it despite chewing it and throwing it about.
I don't want or need a camera or any other faff so it's fine for me and excellent value.
Only quibble is the menu's a bit back to front and I keep accidentally engaging the WAP function, other than that it's great.

Excellent rugged phjone
I have owned this phone for nearly 5 years. It has been dropped from waist height many times. Its been in sea water, fresh water and hot water. Its been in mud and snow. When it gets real dirty I wash it with detergent and hot water. It is tough, reliable and easy to use. The screen is small so the texts are small. However if you want a robust , no frills, reliable this is the one. I wish I could get a new one for the same price I paid in 2012 - which was about £65 .

I loved this phone but....
I loved this phone but the ringer/volume/sound just died suddenly after 8 months of trouble free service and i can't get samsung to repair it! I don't care what anyone says I loved this phone. It is rugged. Its simple to use. The torch is incredible. It has a good-excellent battery life. OK the camera is rubbish and I couldn't browse but there is something so hard and solid about it that I thought i would be using it for years and years to come. I even dreamt about throwing it muggers and knocking them out. Alas it was not to be the insides are soft, rubbish, chinese mush and its conked out!! I need quality inside and out... Nokia baby please take me back!

Robust and Loud!
Bought this for my wife who spends a lot of time at the local stables, could never hear her old phones ring and kept breaking them by dropping them on the concrete. We've had this for over a year now and this Samsung has survived everything she's done to it, including dropping it puddles, on concrete floors, even from the back of her horse! The extra loud ring is great for getting her attention, but soooo loud indoors when she forgets to turn it down! OK, so its not a smart phone, but for robustness and calling or texting it can't be beaten.

Indestructible
Obviously it's not the latest tech any more, but these phones are incredibly tough. I treat my phones hard, and most tend to suffer some fatal accident within months, but my B2100 is still going strong after a couple of years. The only way I could get it to fail was through a 40mph collision with concrete, then opening a rubberised waterproof plug from the headphone socket, then adding saltwater.

Excellent phone for outdoors people
This phone is ideal for people who spend time outdoors, either working or enjoying outdoor activities.
Tested the waterproof claim by throwing the phone into a swimming pool (only about 1m deep) found no problems and even sent a text message and took a photograph underwater.
I work in dirty, damp & cramped conditions and often end up leaning on the phone in my top pocket - no damage so far to the screen. Dropped it several times from my hands (again around 1m) no evidence of damage.
Not the best camera in the world but then that's not really what this phone is all about.
For the person who mainly uses the phone for making calls and sending texts this phone is more than adequate.

Great on the building site - not for making calls.
Bought this phone for my dad (he's a brick layer) he wanted a tough phone that would be able to stand knocks, scrapes, drops and being covered in dust.
This is a nice rugged, easy to use phone that has a torch built in and is worth the £60 paid - BUT call quality is rubbish. Whenever he phones anyone he has to shout at them ! Not sure if it's a one off problem with his phone or that because of all the rubberised protection its covering the speaker - either way it's a pain calling him or him calling others.
Shame really.

Happy to use
Bought for work so I wouldn't be usimg my Iphone It's a breath of fresh air going back to this technologyand no need to worry about marking or damaging it. Good quality on the phone, easy to make the caller out. Very happy with it. Nice size and a lot easier to hold than my Iphone! Still keep the smart phone though :)

Good for day to day use on a construction site
bought this for my husband who is constantly cracking smartphone screens or getting them water damaged. He works in construction so needed something tough to use whilst on site. This is very very robust, so much so he has a new party trick at the pub where he plops his phone in it. It's not great for fast use or the internet, but for the purpose I bought it for it was ideal

Solid phone I've had for years....
Perfect phone for travelling or back-packing, it's been through the wars with me over the years, still going strong and recently bought another one for a friend of mine.
It's fully waterproof and can withstand anything! My dog recently found this and decided to turn it into a chew toy and although the phone suffered some external damage it still continued to function properly.
The screen is quite small compared to newer phones, but battery life is amazing, speaker quality is very good, easily picks up reception and phone is easy to use.
Build quality is solid, I've got no complaints for price paid.

Good phone for all that doesn’t want a smartphone
It seems really solid. It's clearly a good phone for all that doesn’t want a smartphone. It has all the basic functions plus some extra (MP3 and FM). The battery last for more or less 2 weeks if you don’t use it a lot.
Even if it’s waterproof, one doesn’t need a screwdriver for open it and change the sim card (just a coin).
The only negatives point is that the electric connection (power and Earphones) are proprietary (not USB and jack like most of the phones) and the speaker sound is a bit distorted (certainly because it's waterproof).

Samsung B2100 mobile
It does what it says on the can. I was looking for a loud ring, tough phone that does not die when left out in the rain! Screen is a bit small, camera not great in difficult light (I did not buy it as a camera), battery life good, torch really bright and useful. I am now using it regularly in preference to a more expensive Samsung.

Very Good
Wanted simple but durable phone and this is very good.
Strong and easy to use, Bluetooth was easy to set up
and like the way loading contacts works as is simple.
Not as flash as touch screen phones but does the job
and the keys are good. Like the torch addition. Only
slight problem cannot fine out how to turn off the
noise when touch the keys still working on this one.

Tough and reliable - not a great looker but nice and rugged.
Instructions aren't the best as I had to do a few internet searches for simple things such as sorting the predictive text. Also it takes about 4 different button presses to simply put someone as a recipient for a text. Not the most simple to use but the reliability makes up for it.

I like the features, but where is the apostrophe?
I like the features. It is strong and durable, with good volume when making or answering calls. One can increase storage capacity with a micro SD card. However, one noticable shortcoming is the absence of the apostrophe (') as a punctuation mark while texting a message.

Not happy I bought this as I wanted a simple phone. on most phones, if for example you want to make a ? mark you press the 1 key then the * key to find it, well thats not it on this phone. the predictive txt,? I want the word mum, all I get is nun and cant see how to change it? Again you would use the # or * key for this but it seems not on this phone. My eyesight is not that bad but the print is so small on the instructions I cant read it. VERY VERY UNHAPPY. unless the seller contacts me to tell me Im doing something wrong. my advice is DO NOT BUY THIS PHONE ITS RUBBISH simon. Further update, it also has problems getting a signal in places where my old phone got a signal fine! I understand the sellers get a copy of these reviews and had thought they might have contacted me to address these issues? but nothing, so my advice is to stay away from both this phone and supplier as their customer service appears to be as bad as this phone! simon.
