Мне больше нравится мой старый Samsung Tab 4, но пришлось обновить, чтобы не отставать.
соотношение сторон 16х9 - это глупо для маленького планшета. Старые планшеты 4x3 намного приятнее. Двойное нажатие на экран для пробуждения устройства * очень * ненадежно, иногда это сработает с первой попытки, иногда вы можете буквально нажать более 30 раз и все равно ничего не получить... Кнопки включения / регулировки громкости предназначены для портретного режима. Не интуитивно понятный, до него нелегко добраться. Устройство определенно более быстрое. С Android я научился предотвращать ВСЕ ОБНОВЛЕНИЯ. Если приложение работает, когда я его устанавливаю, это то, чего я хочу. 90% всех обновлений каким-то ужасным образом ломают приложение, которым я пользовался. Я не могу сосчитать количество приложений, за которые я заплатил бы полную цену во второй раз, только чтобы получить оригинальную версию. Я научился в значительной степени ненавидеть Android в целом по миллиону причин.
Чем он хорош? Вот единственная причина, по которой я храню планшет: заряда батареи хватает на 12 часов, если вы пользуетесь им постоянно. Мой ноутбук стал гораздо более функциональным и менее раздражающим (после того, как я выключил планировщик задач, отключил 30 служб и 90% программ запуска), но заряда батареи хватает всего на 4 часа. Поэтому, если я нахожусь на конференции, я работаю на своем ноутбуке, когда могу, но планшет действительно дает сбой.

До сих пор раздражал A7
Я давний пользователь планшетов Samsung Galaxy и купил это для своей жены, потому что один из наших общих планшетов находится в аварийном состоянии (купил его отремонтированным несколько лет назад). Настроив его, становится ясно, что теперь у вас меньше возможностей для обеспечения конфиденциальности как от Google, так и от Samsung, но это не единственная причина, по которой я, скорее всего, верну его для ноутбука. Наше основное применение - просмотр веб-страниц и электронная почта, хотя я также использую три других наших Galaxy tab для тренировок на велосипеде, потому что они поддерживают протокол беспроводных датчиков ANT (не уверен, поддерживает ли этот). Самое раздражающее, что я обнаружил, это то, что я не могу держать его в одной руке без того, чтобы он не подумал, что я пытаюсь жестикулировать двумя пальцами - когда я нажимаю на что-то, ничего не происходит... Я, наконец, понял, что мне нужно установить его так, чтобы мой большой палец не перекрывал край экрана. Я также иногда нажимаю жирными пальцами кнопки "домой" и "назад" во время набора текста - они явно слишком малы для наших взрослых рук (мой рост 6 футов 4 дюйма, а моя жена не миниатюрный цветочек при росте 6 футов 2 дюйма), и я думаю, что есть способ заставить их исчезнуть проводя пальцем вверх / вниз, но это собьет с толку мою жену. Я думал, что это будет прилично по цене, но если я уже так расстроен, просто настраивая его, то я уверен, что у моей жены возникнут некоторые трудности (подсказка: она все еще пользуется флип-телефоном, потому что ей нравятся только те гаджеты, которые очень просты в использовании).

Good tablet but ok screen
It’s the screen resolution that I was disappointed in. Everything else was good. I got this to watch Netflix movies but desired a better display. I returned it but it might be perfectly fine for others. I wished it had isp display.

My first tablet
Likes:
- Split screen mode.
- Watching movies/videos.
Dislikes:
- I use a google pixel phone, so I'm used to the screen being less blue.
- Isn't immediately snappy after turning on after not using for a while. (I tap the power button to turn the screen on but nothing happens for a few seconds).
- Too loud when using earbuds, even on the lowest volume setting. I have to manually slide the volume down to a tiiiiiny sliver.
- Reddit/twitter/etc is very large...like when you're scrolling, an image will take up the whole screen which is very weird to me. If I wanted a full size of the image i'd just click it. I'd rather see more information at once than full sized images.
Since I already have a computer and a phone, it's hard to find more uses for a tablet. I'm trying to find things to do to justify buying it.
I know as time goes on, I will find more and more things to do with it.

Dark horizontal lines in screen after a few months of use. do NOT buy.
dark horizontal lines running the full width of the device showed up a few months after use and are either burnt into the screen or the screens were defective. horribly annoying for darker videos/movies/shows where the lines almost make it look like you're viewing whatever you're looking at through stripes.
this is a problem with many of these products and many of these similar issues can be found by searching for this device appended with some variation of 'dark lines on screen'. stay away from this samsung product unless you enjoy awful viewing experiences and products that aren't as they are advertised.

This one worked...
The first one I received did not allow the camera to work properly in the LEGO Hidden Side app. The camera app worked fine by itself, but in the Hidden Side app it was just green / black / purple vertical lines so bad you could not see anything. I tried turning off special camera features. Tried factory resetting the tablet again.
However, the second (replacement) that I received did work correctly. So, something must have been a little off with that first one. In the end, this is a very good deal for a big tablet with clear screen and good battery. It handles the Hidden Side well, so it's pretty powerful. This is a perfect tablet for apps, games, and watching videos. Not quite up there with the S3 or S4, but also much less expensive than those as well.

I am probably the only person not totally wowed by this tablet.
Don't get me wrong, this is a nice tablet and the price point is pretty low.
I have one of the original Samsung tablets which is probably 8 years old. I bought the new one to replace the old one as even thought the old one is fantastic for watching Netflix and movies, it is snail slow online, so limited use.
While the new A7 is nice, the picture quality (although crisper) is no where near as enjoyable to view as my old one. The older tablet had beautiful colors while the new one just seems to be lacking in depth of color while watching shows.
Also, it does take quite a while to charge. All in all , a nice tablet but I was hoping 8 years of technology would have made it a little better than it is.

Bloaty Mc Bloatface
This tablet has a lot of Samsung bloatware on it. I prefer vanilla android and pixel devices. Compared to the bloat that is on Amazon devices this isn't horrible. Probably a little more than Lenovo bloat. Not sure how cheap walmart tabs compare. I installed nova launcher to get rid of the chunky and slow Samsung One UI home launcher. I also found the default Samsung keyboard to be confusing and strange. I installed Google's Gboard to fix that. Now it feels a little more vanilla.
It's true what they say about the viewing angle, unless you're right on top of it it's very hard to see. I also noticed that when I first turned on the device the brightness was set very very low and there wasn't anyway to turn it up until you get a little deep into the setup.
Okay, the good. If you're like me, you're giving this to your kid. So the things the kid cares about: It plays video just fine. I was surprised that it plays minecraft on higher graphic settings. Good value. Works as advertised. No issues.
I bought the WiFi only version of this tablet, and I use it mainly for media consumption. To me, it doesn't seem like it actually does more than my android phone, but I got tired of squinting at the phone and I also got tired of burning through the phone's battery. For me, a day of moderate use takes 50% of the tablet's battery or less. The display is big enough and has good enough resolution for streaming movies or web-surfing without issue. It's also more convenient to use for those activities than firing up a desktop or laptop. I'd suggest getting a case of some kind, because if you are used to a phone, you will find this little heavy and awkward to hold. I've also owned a smaller android tablet, and I like this larger size better. I also bought it because I've had good luck so far with Samsung products.

Easy to use; Comfortable Size
I bought this tablet because I needed something more portable and less cumbersome than my laptop for certain video conferences. This fills the bill. The unit is just the right size; the screen is sharp; the battery life is satisfactory. I might get some sort of case for it. It can be a little awkward to hold because it's so big. I resisted getting a tablet for a long time but now I'm very glad to have this. Since it's so new I have had no experience with customer service or any other aspects of the purchase that may be of concern so cannot comment. I'm an older person and I found it easy to learn to use this (many similarities to a smart phone) and I appreciate the added mobility/flexibility the tablet gives me.

Nice looking device but they had to mess with the software
The hardware seems great on this. Fast, clear screen, good sound... But Samsung had to mess with the OS. When you try to download large files, when the screen locks after a few minutes it will suspend the download. I search all over the internet and it seems to be a common issue and I tried all the trick people suggested and nothing work. Called support and it seemed they were just googling the answers as some of the thing said I remembered reading on some of my searches. I wish Samsung would leave the software development to people who know what they are doing and just focus on making good hardware.
Update: factory reset got it working. Still wish I could remove all of Samsung's bloatware though
